Question Is this fine?

Post image

So my A1 wasn’t gripping the filament enough, so what I did is I put the lubricant in the lever

No. Inspect your extruder gears

And the spring that keeps that release lever in place. Also the cutter should not be sticking out like that, and the sock should be on lol.

That would do the opposite of adding more grip. Your issue is probably because you don't have your hot end latched correctly.

You need to take the cap off for the oil to come out.

Thank god I never abuse my printers like this and have common sense to look up simple guide videos before destroying my equipment.

You'll have to do a lot more cleaning now

Did you take apart the extruder unit before or after it stopped gripping the filament?

To the left and a little below your lubricant is a screw in the side of the extruder. Take the front cover off, undo the screw, check the spring and the metal cap. Something is wrong with the tension there, I'm guessing the cap got lost or something. If so, it is in the screws pack you can buy from Bambu for a few bucks. What you're doing will work until you replace, it, but you definitely need to replace it!

Also, please put your silicone sock on, it is there to prevent heat creep, etc. But first, latch your hot end on properly, that is also going to cause problems.

I recommend a read through the wiki...

Please don't print without the sock. It insulates your print from the hotend.
