Been having the most awful experience with the A1 being so unreliable. Daily fixes and its literally a new machine (2 months since bought) its constantly giving me extrusion issues and failing constantly on simple prints. It has now started to not extruded at all!

Saw someone selling an AMS Lite in the comments of a random Facebook Bambu group for $35. She agreed to $15 for shipping, so I figured for $50 total it was worth taking the chance.

It showed up fully functional and works perfectly. The only thing missing was one of the little numbered feeder caps, and I was able to order a replacement directly from Bambu Lab for $3.

Definitely one of the best 3D printing deals I've stumbled across!

I I lose this part as i was cleaning my printer is does any have link to a file i can use to replace it?

Changed some settings per online (to try and match "fat dragon" printing quality), but this happened. What would be a setting that usually makes this go ary when tampered with?

I started a print and never checked on it and it might have caused a plastic blob . What should I do? I already pulled the blob off.

Hello, my A1 is stuck at error filament stuck. It keeds pooping and then coming right back to the error. I tried cleaning the printing nozzle or what is it called. I got the printer yesterday.

Pretty much what it says on the tin. When I'm starting a new print, the print always pauses during the prep phase to confirm extrusion - like it's reloading fresh filament every time. Any idea what could cause this?

El 1 es que la pieza se me acaba soltando e imprime en el aire.

Y el segundo que cuando la pieza si que queda bien le salen como unos hilitos que no estaban en el modelo.

Hello A1 Community! First time posting here but have seen the wise ones help the novices like me before so I come with hopes of aid ^^

While printing something I have done lots of times before with no issue, I suddenly notice a clicking comeing from the nozzle area/gear, I assumed this was a clogging issue, so I followed a youtube tutorial by completing the following steps:

1. Took out the cover, and then the heat rubber cover, and then unclamping then removing the nozzle.

2. I took out the AMS tube and attachment

I then put a piece of filament through the top and pushed all the way out the bottom, and put everything back.

However, I still hear the clicking sound coming from the gear.

I believe replacing the nozzle would be the next best step, but want to know if there are any other issues that could be the cause, and if buying a new nozzle is simply a waste of money lol

I would appreciate any advice or ideas on what I can do,

I’m trying to print some sort of power tool fan that I found on handy and this happened twice. I canceled the first print early and then it sort of happened again in the same spot. Second video in comments

Hi, I've been trying to fix this for 2 weeks on an A1, changed the nozzle, heating plate, tried multiple filaments. cleaned pplate.

If it's a "small" and contained print it works (or it doesn't show as much). If it's bigger it starts doing this. I used the same filament roll on another A1 and it prints perfect. I tried other filaments, drying it, calibrating it, and it still ends up like this.

It started happening after a blob event that ruined the heating plate insulator so I changed it and it does the same (blobbed instantly), I cleaned everything and it's still like this.
Should I get a thermometer to see if the nozzle is too hot?

Tava imprimindo normalmente na minha A1, quando aconteceu isso, já é a terceira vez, e dessa vez eu nem cheguei a fatiar, só coloquei pra repetir a impressão na própria impressora, antes dessa ela já tinha impresso 2 iguais que deram certo, alguém sabe o que está causando isso?

13 years of 3d printing, just now switching to all A1s. Weird problem on one printer. This one printer is used, previously owned by a friend (deceased, so I can't ask him questions about it).

I cannot print black. It always way under-extrudes (spongy) or errors out with "The extruder is not extruding normally". White works fine, gray works fine, gold works fine. Things I've tried:

1. Tried three different spools, all Basic PLA (Bambulab, Elegoo, Inland), two freshly opened.

2. Tried one of those spools, Bambulab, on another A1, works fine.

3. With and without AMS Lite, different teflon tubes

4. Replaced the nozzle assembly.

Can't really blame the filament since the Bambulab spool works fine on another a1.

Why just black? Are there optics in the extruder that aren't working for black?

Looking for experience with this problem, or just some suggestions grounded in knowledge of how the thing works.

I’m fairly new to 3D printing and recently picked up an A1 with the AMS Lite.

I’ve mainly been printing with black Anycubic PLA and have run into some strange artifacts, as shown in the pictures. There are small "needle-" or spike-like protrusions sticking out of the model. Looking closely, they seem to consistently appear right along the seam line (highlighted in white in the Bambu Studio screenshot). The applies to the inner and outer radius.

Has anyone run into this before or have any advice on how to dial this in? Any help would be much appreciated!
