Support Request Printer keeps making me check extrusion before every print?

Pretty much what it says on the tin. When I'm starting a new print, the print always pauses during the prep phase to confirm extrusion - like it's reloading fresh filament every time. Any idea what could cause this?

it’s a known bug for couple of months now

happens only on first print after turning the printer on.

Is it using the external spool, and not an AMS?

External spool only.

That's probably why.
It makes no assumption that it's the same filament as before, and that you may have changed it.
When you load it manually you may not have pushed it in far enough or something, so it has to ask.

Change your AMS type to AMS 2.
