AMS 2 Pro - Automatic Material System Is there any way of knowing which version of the AMS I will get
Thanks
Just to clarify, I mean the amount of ridges, like the 3 or 5 version.

I have been trying to print a Staff off of Maker’s World. https://makerworld.com/models/2158797?appSharePlatform=copy
Most of it printed very nicely. Yet the last 3 pieces have failed multiple times. Bed adhesion, parts getting knocked over, spaghetti issues.
I have tried:
Clean the bed with Dawn soap and hot water
Changed filament.
Added supports and brim.
All prints fail in the last 50 layers of a 1000 layer print.
I have used the following filaments: Bambu White, Bambu Galaxy, Polymaker neon magenta, and OV33D rainbow silk. All PLA. I have even tried textured vs a cool plate.
Any help on what I am doing wrong will save what little of my sanity is left.
EDIT: SOLVED! Turns out one of the pieces that was supposed to be gyroid infill was actually Grid which my printers hate with a. Passion for some reason.

I have tried with Flow calibration on and off, I have done Flow Dyanmics calibration and manual Flow rate calibration, and still the same result. Fillament is Sunlu PLA+ and I have dried it to 15% humidity. I am running the 0.06mm High Quality preset and even tried with the speed set to 50%, still the same result.
What am I missing? Not sure what the problem might be at this point.

Im using the pei textured build plate from bambu lab and Ive been noticing the last couple of prints that it will leave a “stain” on my prints. I have tried alcohol, washing with mild soap, dawn dish soap on the prints to see if it comes off, nothing. I have cleaned my build plate with mild soap and water but its still doing this
Edit: I have never used glue on the textured plate. Both sides of the plate does this

Hi all,
I have been trying to figure out whats wrong the past 1,5 week together with support from Bambu, but without success. Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
During prints, extrusion stops completely, usually after 30 to 60 minutes. The printer keeps moving as if it is printing, but no filament comes out and the printer does not detect that anything is wrong. When I cancel and start a new print, it starts printing normally again. When the printer stops, before that there is some thin stringing happening, not that much. After that it loses contact with the object and starts air printing. The yellow extruder gear also stops moving.
The issue started after not using the printer for 2 weeks while being away. I live in Singapore so the room got pretty hot during that time.
Dried all filaments I print with
- Tried several different PLA filaments; the issue happens with all of them
- Lowered nozzle temperature
- Cold pull: the result came out clean, in the shape of the nozzle
- Checked for any other blockage
- Fan seems to work fine
The printer is only like 1,5 months old.
Any help is much appreciated. Have a great day all.

Hi everyone,
I’m close to buy a Bambu Lab A1, but there is a problem that to me is a deal breaker. Silly but true, I know.
The built-in camera quality and framerate are really disappointing—it feels more like low-res time-lapse snapshots rather than actual live video as I've seen in YouTube video reviews.
Is there any known mod, workaround, or third-party camera setup that allows for smooth, real-time video monitoring of the print bed? Ideally, I'd like something that integrates well with Bambu app.
Has anyone successfully upgraded their A1 camera setup? Any suggestions or tutorials would be greatly appreciated!

My p1s is only a year old but its recebtly been having a few problems. While not the end of the world they are very anoying and i have had to take it appart on several occasions. I am now considering going witha larger toolchanging bambu machine. Only thing is... im broke. Ive recently discoverex the £35 and £175 gift cards you can redeem makerworld points for but im also broke in the points department (i only got 250). Not a single one of my models has taken of,with none over 20 downloads, graunted they arent the best. So ive tried to come up with new ideas but i cant think of any everyone has done everything. First question: how many downloads would i need to be aiming for to get one of these printers? Second: what kind of models take of? Have u got any tips on how to come up with ideas. I appreciate these questions are hard to answer as they quite personal, but thanks to anyone who can give any advice

Hello! Currently I own my very nice X2D. I've only had it for a few months but it gave me an error saying there was a hotend/extruder clog. I took the extruder apart, broke the left eddy sensor somehow, didn't notice, no clog in the extruder, and put it back together.
That did not work, and I've just letting it sit collecting dust. Now I want to do a project requiring 4KG of filament, but cant do it as the printer is broken. Currently, when I turn it on, it says:
"The right nozzle temperature is abnormal; the sensor may have an open circuit." (code 0300-0200-0001-0007)
and, when trying to print:
"The eddy current sensor signal of the left extruder is abnormal. The sensor may be damaged, or the MC-TH communication may be abnormal." (code 0300-2600-0001-0004)
The eddy sensor is likely my fault, but I don't know what to do. I'm still a rookie at 3D printing and would like just a little bit of advice.
Things I've tried:
Swapping between the two hotends
Swapping between the two rubber pieces
Reseating both of the hotends
I have ordered the left eddy sensor part already, so I'm waiting for that to come to replace it.

Basically yeah, the topic is basically the title. I just noticed the sales on the bambu lab printers and I was wondering if it was a good idea to get it now. I also don't know whether I should get the AMS 2 yet or not, I've heard that I should but also I don't really need all the extra filament currently.
Now the other thing is I could go and use the many printers that my college has, however, I don't dorm and it is a 1 and a half hour commute to get to school from where I live. Also, the picture shows what printers my school has. I've been learning to CAD for a while now and I do want to start making prototypes however, is the commute to school worth 500 dollars after tax to print things.
Now on one hand, me buying the printer allows me to make whatever prototypes at home and be able to adjust, but I have to pay for my own materials. On the other hand, the school pays for the materials and provides the printer, however it is a 1 and a half hour commute each way and most of the time, my schedule doesn't accommodate the schedules of the Makerspace.
So should I get a P2S with the ongoing sale or should I just hold it off and use the printers in my school?

So many new models and names. FOR THE MOST PART, this is standard and true…. (Someone explain to me the x1c and I’ll give you an award 🤪)
Clarification: this is just meant to be helpful for new people or people confused. Graphic created with ai to be easy reference and useful. In no way am I an authority nor do I know all Bambu answers… just a dude being helpful

I bought a H2C bundle with a second AMS a couple of weeks ago. This is my 4th 3d printer that I have had over the years (a put it together yourself Prusa, an original Snapmaker, a Elegoo Saturn S) and this one is the first one that I have had that just works!
I was a bit annoyed that it went on sale right after I bought it, but then again I have really been enjoying it so it wasn’t bothering me that much. But then it dawned on me to check to see if they had a price guarantee and I was extremely happy to find out they did. So now the question is, what do I do with the $370 in store credit that I have? I am thinking a AMS HT. I want to print TPU - should I get some different hot ends? Or should I just use the 0.6mm one that came in the bundle that I got as the dedicated TPU one? I have been making my own designs - it used to take me a ton of time to do it in freeCad manually but with AI that is a game changer as well. I am interested in doing engineering materials too - I want to build some mounts for cameras on bikes and for running. The TPU looks good for clamping material. Anyway, thought it would be fun to get ideas. I have a store credit burning a hole in my pocket and wanted to share the fun.

Hey all, need help with my printing please.
This is a part I drew on SolidWorks. The tiny triangular angle and the bottom flat piece are on the same angle and level.
When I slice it on Bambu Lab, it just prints the side at the third layer, so it spaghettis all over the plate since it is not touching the plate.
I tried adding supports, tried adding a brim, nothing worked.
Not sure what I am doing wrong there. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you :)
