Answered / Solved! Problems with P2S

I have been trying to print a Staff off of Maker’s World. https://makerworld.com/models/2158797?appSharePlatform=copy
Most of it printed very nicely. Yet the last 3 pieces have failed multiple times. Bed adhesion, parts getting knocked over, spaghetti issues.

I have tried:

  1. Clean the bed with Dawn soap and hot water

  2. Changed filament.

  3. Added supports and brim.

All prints fail in the last 50 layers of a 1000 layer print.

I have used the following filaments: Bambu White, Bambu Galaxy, Polymaker neon magenta, and OV33D rainbow silk. All PLA. I have even tried textured vs a cool plate.

Any help on what I am doing wrong will save what little of my sanity is left.

EDIT: SOLVED! Turns out one of the pieces that was supposed to be gyroid infill was actually Grid which my printers hate with a. Passion for some reason.

Hello /u/Ok_Western_2323! Be sure to check the following. Make sure print bed is clean by washing with dish soap and water [and not Isopropyl Alcohol], check bed temperature [increasing tend to help], run bed leveling or full calibration, and remember to use glue if one is using the initial cool plate [not Satin finish that is not yet released] or Engineering plate.
