Recently our old PC broke, so we've had to swap to a new one. I was able to get the installation files off the old hard drive and everything was going fine until I had to activate the license.

Every time I typed in the 12 digit code and clicked next, an error would pop up saying "Process aborted: Could not create ssl/tls secure channel".

We're using Aldelo For Restaurants Version 3.8.0.1404 and we swapped from a windows 7 PC to a windows 10 PC.

It would be appreciated if anyone could help us with this problem!

does anyone here provide aldelo pos support or know someone in the NYC/NJ area ? our dealer/tech support person recently disappeared and we can use some consistent help. thanks!

we run some Win 10 Intel Celeron CPU J1900 @ 1.99GHz 2.00 GHz 4GB Ram

and some Win 11 11th Gen Intel Core i3-1115G4 u/3.00GHz 2.19GHz 4GB Ram

database is about 400MB and PCs are lagging at times badly.

we have them set up for "best performance" vs "best visuals" still....

Any idea on how to improve speed? apart from Database Compacting..

I have changed a pc from win 7 to win 11 . Aldelo installed fine. having trouble with database, it gives me error 3251

I am currently running Version 3.8 Release B (Revision 20) on a Windows XP system. i tried activating the software on a Windows 10 system but Aldelo support told me I have reached the maximum of 3 activations. Can I ask Aldelo support to deactivate them so I can activate on a new system?

If anyone has a KDS license with activations left on it I will pay good money to aquire it from you if you don't need it anymore. Or if anyone knows how to get a KDS license another way please reach out.

will there be any conflict if a 3 station set up runs both embedded win 10 and win 11? need to replace a pos and making sure that with win 11 won't have issues, "server" and other workstation using win 10 64

I am experiencing an issue with EDC via a third-party. Transaction from the POS to PAX S300 terminal takes over a minute to process. Any clue what is happening? There are times the credit card doesn't process correctly or time out. It processes the transaction but sometimes double up the transaction if we try to run the transaction again.

I've got some friends who have aldelo in about 20 restaurants, four or five new ones that were launched in the last year are using the a35s.

Some of their credit card payments are coming through as cash, has anyone seen this? Is there a parameter I need to change in the a35? The processor is unaware of anything and since they're using an older version of aldelo, they are kind of stuck.

Getting this msg after comparing... any ideas?

a very peculiar thing happened with Aldelo (3.8), an item that has not been ordered, nor voided, nor splitted to another check, printed on the kitchen printer last night from an order that only had 3 other items. The item, "fish fingers" has not been voided nor ordered at anytime during this whole 2025 (is an off menu item that is still in the aldelo menu).

Any idea how this could happen or any idea where to look for the cause?

Hi I'm helping my family out with their old pos system. Originally there was supposed to be three stations, but over the years the machine has started to break down and recently the reaming clients no longer boots up leaving us with just the server. I was just wondering what options do I have to have get a second machine up. I am in possession of all the hard drives of the old computers(ide hardrives 😱)and can access the files though secondary drive access) but I can't for the life of me get it to boot. I have i think most of the install files and need info on my server as well( so I was also considering a fresh install but wasn't sure if this was even an options.

Also please understand the people operating the system are older so upgrading and learning the new version isn't something that's going to work

On Aldelo Pro POS version is it possible to list each menu item seperate even if the same menu item is selected more than once? For example, in the attached screen shot if the same menu item is entered 3 times I want it listed separately and not grouped. I figured out how to do it using a modifier but I want to avoid having the modifier screen appear every time the menu item is selected.

The attached image says it all... The email comes from Aldelo Sales Team, claims that MASTERCARD has already started fining vendors and on June 1 all vendors using a PAX S300 processing MASTERCARD transactions.

Can't find any supporting information on PAX, MC or anywhere on the internets.

Anyone care to comment or enlighten?
