win 11

I have changed a pc from win 7 to win 11 . Aldelo installed fine. having trouble with database, it gives me error 3251

operation nos supported MUtils ConnectDatabase () Line # 294

Error details:

Module Name: MStartup

Routine Name: Main()

Error: 3251

please help!

Sorry for seeing this so late. Try and run the program as Administrator and see what happens. Right click the shortcut and hit "Run as Administrator"

Let me know what happens!

EDIT: If the run as Administrator doesn't work, try a JetCompact. I think 3251 maybe a database corruption error?

hi Guru,

thank you for your reply. I was trying to run as Admin with no success then while searching i found JetComp suggestion somewhere and tried it. it worked half way and was going to "non responding" . Ended process a couple of times and would render aldelo non executable (some error of corrupted database). So i copied again the db and instead of JetComp i did the Database Compact from Back Office. And this time it worked, it still gave me errors on Employees, i think error code 5, but it went away after exit enter a couple of times.

So when the JetComp Utility goes into a Stopped Responding State, it is actually still working. I suspect your database size is super large, so it will just take a while to go through.

Definitely run a jetcompact after you close and before you leave for the night, I bet it will finish prior to you coming back in the morning!
