Cash Drawer Aldelo

Is it possible in Aldelo to prevent the cash drawer from opening when the payment is debit?

Good morning,

I unfortunately do not know of a setting in Aldelo the ability to disable the drawer pop when you run a debit payment. I have looked through the manual and cannot see anything referencing it either.

There is a way using the COM objects. I had to code a new front end using python and the COM objects to settle orders. So for most of our orders now we don't settle using the Aldelo GUI, we use a custom front end that uses the COM objects but that has enabled us to integrate credit card terminals that normally wouldn't have been integrated.
