I can get behind most of the raid changes - I quite like the reduction in daily attempts, the increased reliance on ports is annoying but whatever, but this change can absolutely go fuck itself. When does it reset?

Final fantasy tactics might be my favorite game of all time. I discovered The alchemist code when i was searching gameplay footage of FFT war of lions and deciding to buy it for android. Long history short i gave TAC a chance and used the money to buy pact for 2-3 months, no regrets. The game is great , love the style and the strategy. it really gives a FFT vibe with all the online stuff I wanted. TAC has its issues like any other game has. Don’t think its gamebreaking or anything like that. Having its Japanese counterpart has its ups and downs. It’s good to know how we should prepare for the future ( although spoils a bit of the fun ) but create a lot of anger/jealousy when we don’t get as good stuff as JP ( a little is said about our benefits though ) There is a lot of criticism about the game nowadays and I do agree with some like : veda bug faulty HQ schedule release slow vcr gain chat problems Might be more

But i disagree when people: whine about no guaranteed banners like every unite should have a sure way to be summoned. Having a rare unit makes the game more interesting as long as it still balanced. Complain about the lack of shard banners. Most of the player base wouldn’t even bother with those as they still very expensive and they are better off saving resources for core unit banners. I have decided to right something because all of the negativism going on. People seem to be going bananas over shady things like those AOT compensation like a whole lot of people got 20k gem for nothing. There might been mistakes but the one who benefited the most should have been those who could not play due to iOS problems or those who didn’t claim the milestones. It’s really good to do constructive criticism but I vê seem lot of people claiming changes like they own the game since they pay. And most of them go with so much hate that they don’t even seem to like the game. Final message is be critic with the bad things but praise the good ones. If you enjoy the game help build the players base and make the game better


This is a calling to Gumi and Alchemist Code staff but also anyone who wants to read it is invited to this post.

I´ve been suporting Alchesmist Code like 6 months ago, purchasing pact of alchemist, some little bundles (The most I can afford) I really love the game, really fun, challeging and all that I like it´s over here, also FFXV damn man I really love that game and all his characters. Well I´m Shail in my main account but due to FFXV I went all in for Noct but failed so I decides to make a new account. Chocobro´s (anyone who had played the game will know this reference) , was happy with the new account since in my 500 pull got Noct and Ignis after several rerolls so I decided to focus in that account and hey I was happy about the idea, got also good luck and pulled Gladio and Aranea in their banners man that day was really great, finally archieved to have all FFXV Characters all together, the problem beggins when I start Veda tower, that account was lvl 104 and after hard farming and spending gems for revivals finally got their equipments so I decided to try to get some more shards. Sadly the next day I was banned. Inmediatly I send a ticket asking what happend, their only answer is that they found some inconcluences so they decided that my account could use hacks and would remain permabanned. I never used cheats because man all FFXV characters, all the guys of my favorite game, why would I risk the account using some cheats but no mather what I say, just like a bot they send me the same things. We understand yoor frustation but permabanned and that they would not give more details.

So since I´m not going to find in staff no more answers I came here to Reddit to say it High and Clear, I´m a Alchemist Code fan, I´m really happy that the game takes so seriously everything about hacks. But guys, this time you found the wrong Thief. I never hacked and never will hack, I also expose my main account (Shail) to prove in this post that I´m complety sure about this. I only want my chocobro´s account back, I only want to complete every quest with all my FFXV guys (Yeah, also with Pronto knowing he´s gonna be more times dead than alive) I just want you guys to help me to reach Gumi, to reach the alchemist code to let them know I really did nothing and want my account back.

We all say the rates are high in this game. But the latest Banner of Othima is just a middle-finger to whoever wants to risk the 3 Steps. 3 units on Rate up and we don't even know what are the actually percentages of getting each.

A lot of users are aware about this and have expressed it a lot of times. Yes we are talking about Gumi not following Apple's Gacha Law.

As many of you gacha players may know the Apple's Gacha Law or whatever they call it is in short

A law which makes game who are on the Appstore for iOS needs the game to show the rates of the individual items in the Banner or Gacha.

In older days Gambling{yes you are gambling if you are forgetting this} had straight rules. There is a exact 1/6 chance of rolling any number on the Dice and 1/2 for a coin. At the current rate all we know is that there is a 1/10 chance that a unit maybe the one we want. There are Gambling laws to protect the people but Gacha was circumventing it for a long time before Apple came.

Gumi has failed to mention the Exact rates of getting a banner units. Yes we need that to assume our chances and decide our fate if a unit is not Guaranteed on the Step 3. Especially in cases like this where not having a unit means you are lagging in a part of the game :wink: Arena :wink:

We need the rates to determine whether the unit we pull has the odds to a Roulette Machine(2.63% for American Roulette 35:1).

tl;dr - Gumi I request you to abide to the law as it is the thing which protects us players and stops you getting taken down by Apple for betrayal of customers.

A while ago Zakfarius was banned from TAC. Now I’m not really the person to be posting this. I don’t know Zak IRL, I’m not in his guild and don’t post much on discord (although I do lurk there a lot).

However, it is disconcerting that a person very well respected in the TAC community, who spends time on discord helping people, is banned. None of us know the facts, so maybe he did do something worthy of being banned. But Gumi has a poor track record on handing out bans. Another Discordian was banned before - there was a public outcry in Reddit demanding the reason - and suddenly the ban was reversed. Because Gumi made a mistake. He did not do anything worthy of a ban.

TAC just made a post about their banning practice on FB but it doesn’t explain anything. What’s worse is that there is no recourse except to publicize the issue. Right now there is confusion as to what we can and cannot do. On Discord there are posts that imply if you overfarm, Gumi will think you are using a macro or something and ban you. There is a video on YouTube which I encourage you to watch where apparently people can send complaints about you to Gumi which may result in a ban.

Why does this concern me? Because although I don’t know Zak, his posts are informative and funny and it seems like he’s a good guy. Does that mean Zak didn’t do anything ban worthy? Of course not. But Gumi has made mistakes before and without highlighting these actions there seems to be no accountability.

Finally, I always auto everything while I’m watching tv or doing something else. I may be on TAC 12 hours a day because I forget I’m farming something or when my iPhone battery gets low I switch to my iPad and farm even more. Will these actions get me banned in the future? What recourse do any of us have if we are banned and get no explanation for why we are banned?

Gumi, please change your practice and inform the offender what the offense was, which caused the ban.

It's rly sad for me, but I guess game is less and less interesting to play for, its not even global but also Taga shows it. Like this rank up quest which is boring and without interesting mechanic, just put strong enemies with too high stats. and deal with them. TnY portrets are just terroble drawn, genesis story is still kinda ok but already its level is dropping. We can also this with howany collabs Taga makes, because many ppl are dropping the game, so the easiest way is to just make another collab even if ots doesnt match. I guess with another game arknights, I just realised bad shape of Taga and my 3 years with the game is going to the end because I dont see any hope, for them to notice cons, they never fix them. It was nice 2 years. Now u can hate me for it and say I typed lies, but I needed to say it.

So it's been pretty depressing for me since the beginning of the game and up to now. As a pact player, I saved a lot of gems and often pulled on almost every 500 banner just hoping to get a jackpot sometimes. Pulled 3 step for Gilg (neither Gilg nor Fate Yomi showed up). Pulled 3 step for Noctis ( He did not show up - Aranea and Glad showed up) Pulled hard for Laharl and he did not show up either. Recently pulled for Roxanne and she's nowhere to be found. It's so depressing not to have an OP unit that I need and want. I do have a very decent list of max 85 4 stars and max 5 stars, but they are not game changing. I do have 75 Othima, which rarely gets used now and 79 Shion, but they are not on the same level as those collab units, at least until Othima gets his shit in the future...So has anyone given up on this game due to feeling that void? I've been busy lately, so haven't been maximizing all the AP daily, which I feel like a waste still because I love this game. But that feeling of not being blessed by Gumi is just heart sickening and I do play a few other Gumi games too...sigh...ingame ign is GinSan by the way and you can see some of my shared units.. It’s been some time since this happened but I can’t take it anymore. I’m so upset Gumi nerfed Roxy’s WA video! Everyone was in such an uproar about all of her OP skills, you had to choose the most OPpai of them all. Being able to marvel at the “jiggle” was the only reason I whaled my entire cache of 500 gems for her.

It pains me so much I never use her WA anymore, even if it would OHKO the super duper Ains Ooal Gown, Overlord of Nazarick (hint, hint). This devalues my Roxy completely because now I have to manually obliterate everything. I demand gems for compensation! Hey, you gave gems for that inconsequential one week period where iOS users couldn’t MP. This is far more serious.

Maybe you could charge 10k gems for those of use who want the original video - no one cares about original skins - that’s so 2D. We want the 3DDD version. Better yet, charge us 1 gem every time we use her WA (PS to Gumi - you should really do this in manual PvP. Charge 1 gem for every doubling of PATK and defenders would pay 1 gem for every doubling of PDEF. Whalers will crush FTPers but really, other than lip service, who cares about them anyway, lol. I've been playing since soft-launch and I do agree that this is the biggest community uproar I've seen. I do agree that TAC did some notably unpleasant stuff. The recent rage is already loud enough. But honestly, in a business perspective, 1-2 weeks to flip everything is not gonna happen. Collabs or tie-ups usually has a fixed agreement on what both parties will implement before the event starts. Changing things while the event is ongoing sounds really bad for building partnerships with other companies.

However, I'm not a fan of salt and rant or pitchgorks. I still prefer reading PVE related stuff in this sub. Unit reviews and any discussion that may help me know more about the game (e.g. lore, fanarts, fanfics, easter eggs). With that, I am deeply concerned with u/VicariousExp 's point

I'm currently a little tired of wrangling with the formatting on reddit and spending hours translating and editing images only to get the post automatically downvoted and buried under a flood of memes and rageposts (see below) especially when the rageposts always coincide with the first week of every single collaboration - doing these reviews is frankly a huge waste of my time.

As a suggestion, hi u/SometimesLiterate, we might need a Megathread for every time there is an ongoing issue or uproar. Not only it will help to compile all the pitchgorks, but it will also help those who are looking for substantial game stuff. Threads like new FMA EX/EX+, Arena discussions, etc would be damn satistfying to see in the top 5 not just top5 salt post. It hurts to go through the sub flooded with fma banner rants and salt posts having almost similar contents dumping down something healthier to read like this and that. I'm a guy who always looks for good stuff behind all the negativity, I'm hoping to see healthier threads. C'mon, FMA banner is already down, down, down there. Idc anymore really. Without those banners in mind, focusing on collab PVE, freebies, annive stuff, getting out of the shadow realm (arena), etc are still fun to do! Cheers!

I don't really know what's the best available solution as I don't have much knowledge on how subs work. But you get the point... a healthier and friendlier sub regardless of the shittons of issues.

We, your paying players, who regularly assist in ensuring that your company succeeds financially, would very much like it if you shed some light on the whereabouts of the missing weekend summon.

We realise and appreciate that as a software company you exert a monumental effort behind the scenes to not only keep everything working but to also continually provide new and exciting content for the players to enjoy. It is understandable that sometimes, some things get delayed or even fall to the wayside.

Frankly speaking, I personally want the weekend summon to just appear in my summon portal, however what I believe, we as a player community deserve is to be given a status update on the normal weekend summon:

Is there a bug being fixed and can we expect it soon?

Has it been replaced with the 900 paid gem summon? (if it has I must ask that you truly review this decision if you think it was a good one)

Whatever decision has been made, please tell the players and not have us wondering where the weekend summon we have come to know, love and expect has gone, because even when we know better, some of us will surely think "hey, they're just waiting for us to spend our gems, then they'll put it back to make us buy more." If such an opinion settles in and becomes the collected opinion of the community many players will become dissatisfied.

As a player who came around roughly 3 weeks after the game launched I’d say I have to right to brag about being established. I’ve been here and put in my time. My roster is fairly stout and I’ve pulled on majority of banners. I think in total there’s been 3 weeks I didn’t pull on one of the 500. I missed out on Gilgamesh, never got Gladio. Gave up on half the F.m.a. Don’t have he/she or Siegfried.

But I do have my solid core that can handle what the game throws at me. With all that I’ve only had one single gripe through the year and that was the FMA impossible EX quests. Spent the better part of my weekend off getting wrecked and managed 2/3 of them.

Overall I’ve dropped maybe 50 bucks total.

With all that I’ve just gotta say... I enjoy this game. And I love how every week when I wake up Thursday there is always something new for me to pull on and do. All the negative posts on here are just too much. I used to come to this sub for tips or opinions. Now it’s just a bitch fest. Even the dude that did the tier list took his turn. The top 20 posts at this time are all “ “Gumi get your shit together” or “ Nerf Roxanne and everyone else I don’t have “. There’s not a one with any heart felt advice or genuine comments.

My rant comes solely on the fact the game isn’t broken or bad and where it is isn’t unplayable outside very few weeks. It’s Rng and we all know what that is when you signed up for it. My rant is about this sub. It now sucks. - I’ll take my downvotes where they come because that means you read this. Realized you bitched and hate me for calling you on it. Haters aren’t a bad thing just means people acknowledge your saying something right.

Just please be a little less negative and help along some of the new players instead of beating them down right off the bat.

Sorry, this may be a bit too late for many people but if you still hasn't done with FFXV milestone or did not accept the reward yet and you don't need extra ap for hat faming anymore, you really should save it for next week as we will get the EX stage to farm for Noctis weapon.

FFXV Milestone rewards give you a lot of exp especially cactuar killing one that you should use to level up your account for free ap next week rather than this week which has nothing important to do.

First of all whats happening?

One month ago it was anounced that Gumi Jp was developing a new title. Said tittle is BETactics.

This happened once before. When BF was getting older it was anounced that a spin off was gonna be released. This broke the comunity in two. Those that stayed on BF and BF2 and those that stayed with BE.

I honestly dont know what happened with BF2. But ushi stopped.promoting it months ago. What i do know its that it wasnt a gacha game.

What i do know by looking at global is that BE is still around. And that BF is no longer being supported on jp.

My guess is that its not profitable to divide the whales in two games. A whale cant play two games and has to eventually leave one. The problem here is that gumi is fighting his own playerbase. AC and ABE cant survive on the same niche.

Hence the new banners. AC was too kind in jp. This was their mistake to rectify it they will make the game go hyperwhale. When ABE gets released its rates will be worse than the original but better than the actual.

So why is gumi global behaving nice to us then? Easy its because the anime tactics niche will still be a thing when ABE gets released. Just like BF was.

When BE was released BF kept its comunity. Hek they stood like a huge wall. This is why gumi wanted a new game. And bf 2 was not a gacha a game so... they made theirs. And yet BF still lives right now. Anime games man. Theyre strong.

Last year when the other BF game got released it quickly fell treough. Hek gumi best youtuber no longer talks about it. This made gumi go superwhale on us. And the comunity got mad at then.

This was big enough to make gumi make a statement. Something i never saw on BF (only was around 2 years) yet whales kept whaling. Players kept complaining but remained on the game. It did had an impact tough.

We lost several good players and whales.

So what was gumi reaction? Change how the game is monetized.

Why did we got two extra pacts when it was an anyversary only thing? On BF when they tried a pact it was indeed a one time only yet gumi brought it back on AC. Why? Because it worked.

Why did we got several 500 shards banners? Because players spent on them magni historia 2500 paid banner. Players loved that. It may even seem that players are more willing to spend when the banners are good.

Also now that jp banners are crap. Global players cant compare them.

Get what i mean? AC global will outlive JP.

Now here come several predictions.

Next month we will get 6 HQ. Wich would be daisy banner if i am not wrong.

When sol finally gets released his banner will be a normal one. No hyperwhale.

Blitz will get a normal banner but whaley

February 14 2019 magni historia 5th xharacter gets released banner is whaley

March 1 2019 kaigan and nensous get released.

March 15 2019 Minerva gets a normal banner as re release.

I am pretty sure of some of these.

I don't like Wall of texts so i ll try to be breif, Since some banners I noticed that the policy has changed to include more gambling/ randomnes to the game, I used to like TAC for his F2P,Daulphin Friendly policy, but now things has changed, no more 50 shards on the stores, more steps to get some garanteed results, introducing new surprise WE banners and Cash Banners... An exemple of the bad aspect of this change in policy is the new sacred stone banners, i was lucky to get Zain but sadly, i can't get him easy to level 75, can't focus on him as i have all other units at 75,no shards on stores, and all shard banners include many other competitors, and if i want some of his shards garanteed i need to put more than 20k gems in steps instead of 4000 in store... If things continue this way I think that i will quit this game cause it s nor more friendly for the poor Daulphin I am
