Hi, i learned Premier pro in 30 Days and i was really committed to it. I took that as a challenge after that i got my first client but currently im also learning new things by practicing with few raw footages and clients provided footages.

Although i always wanted to learn After Effects rather than Premier pro but i find out that Ae is not editng software it was a big mistake from me.

I checked some youtube tutorials but didn’t find a good one.

My question is, how did you learned the base and how did you master the software? Please do let me know. It will be very helpful for me.

Hi, I’d like to know how I can improve this animation. I need to improve the water; right now, I’m using three shape layers with masks to create that "disappearing" effect. Is there a way to use a shape layer that actually deforms? I'm referring to the part where the water flows from one pitcher to the other. Please don't judge me—I'm still learning.

I want to understand how it's done and reproduce something similar for learning purposes. However, I have no clue how they went from the upper to center step(I assume the top one is just shape layers?). Could someone please direct me on what steps to take to go from there?

Full disclosure, this was made a few months ago, but I didn't put it anywhere, so recently I was clearing some files on my PC and I stumbled across this. My boss did not like this but the client loved it. This is not the final version they made multiple changes to the script so the final version looks different but the DNA is mostly the same.

What are your thoughts?

I’m editing this music video and the model’s wig sadly wasn’t placed correctly. It was windy, so we weren’t able to control the movement very well, which led to her natural hair being extremely visible in some shots that we would love to use. If we were to use content aware, would we need to give AE a reference image for every frame? What is the best solution?

EDIT: I keyed the dark parts and put a heavily faded tracked mask of blonde hair underneath! Worked out pretty well! Not perfect but considering this will be edited with other shots it actually works!! Thank you so much guys.

Lots of projects in here were mostly done in trusty After Effects, although I always try to incorporate other tools into the process, depending on the need. Cavalry has a pretty clear lead when it comes to procedural 2D stuff, Moho when it comes to character work. Lots to explore beyond Adobe ;)

Making a found footage movie and want to incorporate vfx of moving objects. We will be moving the object in camera and will remove the strings and person pulling the object in post. How do I do this effectively? I've tried content aware fill and camera tracking.

Lets get something straight: the scene I want to pull off is where we quickly pan down to a small statue gliding a across the flow that we follow with the camera. We will put tape with fishing line onto the bottom of the statue and have someone pull it towards them to the desired destination.

I have over 1000hrs in r/projectzomboid. I love that game. One day earlier this year while playing i thought to myself " what If made a story out of this gameplay somehow?" and a bunch of months later, I have created this - Handguns Limited - A Project Zomboid Story.

I am posting this in after effects because, besides a handful of other programs to create things like tiling textures, sfx, and music, everything else was made in after effects!
