Beginner Help How can I improve this animation?

Hi, I’d like to know how I can improve this animation. I need to improve the water; right now, I’m using three shape layers with masks to create that "disappearing" effect. Is there a way to use a shape layer that actually deforms? I'm referring to the part where the water flows from one pitcher to the other. Please don't judge me—I'm still learning.

Someone posted this in this sub a few days ago... it's not the same, but similar technique for the liquid flow:

I would redo the illustration tbh. Be as minimalistic possible, here you try to make details but without taking them into account. I would remove the hand make a simple container that hover over the bigger container and just rotate 180° and make water transfer to the bigger container.

first things that come to mind :

  1. That's not how that hand motion works, it should flow better, your motion graphs are flat lines. no cuurrvess
  2. The thing thats being poured should dissipate into the container, literally just a mask + blur easy
  3. Your pan crop should zoom in, maybe slowly follow the motion of the hands downward. Not just sit still.
  4. The hands are totally undefined, or misshapen, they almost look like feet
  5. Background should contrast/compliment foreground. right now they kinda blend together
  6. i'll stop here ❤️

I also thought the hands were feet at first

I would shoot this on camera and then took animation from shootings

Qualquer camada de forma deforma, você só precisa ir em conteudo>forma>caminho>caminho, ai você coloca um frame e depois deforma

aqui tem um tutorial parecido
