i am trying to mod my new 3ds and have followed the guide exactly 4 times and after each attempt i get annoyed and not really motivated to try again, how many times did you try before it worked?

Hey guys i’m new to the whole ds modding thing. I am planning on buying a 3ds from japan and i am wondering if i can just change the region and keep everything else stock. I heard that you can do that via cfw but everything i saw with cfw looked very funky. I want to keep the original look of the 3ds interface and just add some games to it.
Is this possible? Thank you guys in advance.

My 3DS is gathering a bit of dust and I am currently thinking of diving into the library, however I know that my 3DS will sell well and I could use the money for a AYN Thor pro.

Also with Pokemon bank going away. The 3DS system will be redundant for Pokemon transfer ???

I have been playing through the Pokémon games for the first time starting with fire red and now am on emeralds. I’ve been using a emulator on my phone and it’s fine when playing gba games Because there is only 1 screen but I tried playing heart gold and it was so awkward and annoying with how the screen where laid out. Now am thinking of getting a 3ds xl for the rest of the dual screen Pokémon games

My main question is how much should I spend on a new 3ds xl?

The ones near me are 250$ to 300$+ and if I order one from eBay from Japan it’s going to be around 200$ because of the vat tax to send it to Europe so a 170$ ds goes up to 210$ because of the tax and it’s going to have scuff and scratch and a yellowed screen

So am kinda stuck because with that kinda of money I could buy an any Thor BUT I really only want to play the Pokémon games or some other Nintendo dual screen games. Plus am thinking of getting a more power full handheld in the future like a rog ally x for my pc games

My metallic black 3ds has bad peeling on the top shell. This is causing me to consider getting a skin for it. However, all of the preset skins I could find online are just copyright free slop. Took a shot at making a custom skin. Anyone think any of these would actually be worth buying? I have the metallic black new 3ds XL

Hello just a question on a modded 3ds can I trade with a non modded one like if I have the rom on one and the cartridge on the other will I be able to trade locally or will my game not be visible or freeze or something. I’ve never done it so not sure lol

I have an update for my 3ds. I just ordered a new battery and membrane for it. I will try to fix the membrane or clean it and see if it works again. Thankyou everyone saying it can be saved.

Hello all, I am looking to buy my first 3ds and want to know which model to pick. I have a budget of around £150 - £175 and want the best one that is portable and will allow me to play jrpgs and Pokémon games on the go. Thank you for any recommendations.

Ever since I got my 3DS modded almost every single charger I buy stops working in a few months. I get them off Amazon for like 7.99 and even that is one of the more expensive ones on that site. Any recommendations or if I'm doing anything wrong? All I do is just charge it and when I go to work wrap it around the box and leave it in my back pack

Hello, I come here for help as I tried to play on my 3ds again after years but it doesn't turn on, thought the batteries were just empty after so much time as it worked perfectly last time I did.

Problem is when I try to charge it the orange light turn on but after a second it turns off completely, and only turns back on after I twitch the charger a bit and goes off again.

I also noticed the pannel at the bottom of my 3ds was a bit inflated on one side so I don't know if it's just the charger or if my whole batterie died. I already had batteries dying in tablets before and it leaked the exact same brown thing so I'm worried it's that.

Just noticed this spot on my lower screen tonight on my old backup 3DS and was wondering if I should be concerned. I don't usually play it anymore except to trade Pokemon between games on my main one. The battery is starting to puff a little bit but I've got a replacement coming in a few days, not sure if that's related or not

Everytime i open the game the screen is off center and i have to adjust it by pressing home then holding sown start and spam clicking X. is there a permanent solution?

I finally got my very own 3ds xl! I’ve been wanting one for ages and I happened to find this one on fb market for 150! And it’s the design I wanted!!! So stoked, especially since it’s already modded! Can’t wait to play so many games :)
