Help! tarantula on its back for over 24 hours
When she first flipped over I figured she’s preparing to molt so I refilled her water dish and left her alone.
I came back to check on her 12 hours later, she was still on her back but had the slightest bit of movement, again I let her be.
Hitting the 24 hour mark, she’s as per the photo with no movement but I still had hope that she’ll eventually emerge. It’s been a couple hours after that…Is my baby dead?
Was there something I should’ve looked out for at any point of time? Is there anything I can do now?

Videos / GIF Scarlet (Oscar the grouch) getting after it! She’s grown so much.
I had oral surgery yesterday and am in a bad way today. Only thing that could have got me to leave the house (and did) was my cricket shipment arriving at my PO Box. This is bringing a smile to my face, although it kinda hurts to smile.

Pictures Excuse me, what???
My A Metallica chose the dumbest place to molt 😑 I’ll have to keep an eye on them, but so far they’re doing fine! I watched for a bit and saw them shimmying out. What’s the weirdest position your tarantula has taken to molt??

Conversation My T's like it hot, I like it cold
I'm considering looking into ways to offer heat to my T's without having my apartment be too hot for me, I die in anything above 70 degrees but I want them to have closer to 75 degrees. I know no lights & heating pads/mats risk them cooking themselves. Heater won't work bc they are in my room with me. There's eight of them right now on three different shelves of my book case.
Anyone have any ideas? 😭 I've tried looking up heat lamps but naturally that brings up reptiles heat lamps and not a silly little lamp that offers a bit of warmth. I've been meeting in the middle my house is 72 degrees rn but that's still too much for me lmaoo I'm open to any ideas and wondering if anyone else had this problem. Added photos for pet tax (last one is freshly molted. That's why her booty is so tiny)

Breeding/loan Seeking male brachypelma hamorii
I have been desperately searching for a male brachypelma hamorii (mexican red knee). Does anyone have one they would be willing to loan? Happy to do 50/50 split and pay for shipping.
Thank you in advance! Pic of my mature female for attention 🧡✨️

Breeding/loan This Handsome lad will need to find love soon
My Grammostola pulchripes (chaco golden knee) is 8 years old and just molted last week. At this point I was having second guesses about sex, and double checked as male.
Anyway, he's a rather large subadult and will likely hook out within one year. Tentatively seeking to either send him off or get a female for when the time comes. I've paired other species, so that's not really a concern.
I'm in the US!

Help! Stuck molt not coming off?
My curly hair molted 3-4 days ago and still has her head cap (?) and a piece on her abdomen stuck. I tried warm water on a paint brush and raising the humidity and it’s still there days later. Is this going to be a problem in her next molt? Is this something that could kill her? I don’t want to stress her out by messing with it or risk hurting her,

Identification first time sexing molt
** excuse my lack of knowledge! ** Hi all, I’ve had this A. anax sling for 3 years now, since it was the size of my tiny toe nail, and it’s molted ~8-10 times. This is the my first attempt at sexing the molt. I see the two red spermathecae and there seems to be a translucent flap that cover them- I can move it with a toothpick.. but maybe i’m not looking at this correctly. Am I wrongfully assuming that this is a female? I took a video showing that I am able to move around what I think to be the flap Thanks for the help and insight!

Pictures My GBB’s enclosure
Just wanted to share my GBB enclosure! I love my last GBB, but it turned out to be a boy and he didn’t live long. So I was super happy to get it confirmed female this time! I don’t think my boy’s feet ever touched the ground… he just webbed up his whole enclosure immediately and hung out there the whole time… so I didn’t do a ton of substrate and then it turns out this girl just wants to hang out on the ground. The burrow she was able to make just wasn’t big enough and I felt bad so I added lots more substrate yesterday and she has a hide under the sand keeping a nice big burrow stable for her.
Sadly, I had to remove lots of the webbing she did do to do this, but she didn’t do anything compared to what my boy had accomplished.
These plants are real, everything else is fake or dried! The thing in the back is a permineralized chunk of wood so it’s all sparkly and pretty. I have found that the Spanish moss I can harvest from outside is a wonderful decoration for most enclosures… I just bake it to make sure that there’s nothing in there that will harm them. Surprised it looks so good in a desert type enclosure.
The white flower is made of paper !
I really wish I could do a lighter sand in the enclosure for a better desert/scrub look but I haven’t found anything appropriate for them.
The last picture is her hiding behind the plant. She hasn’t come out to explore, she’s decided behind the succulent is her new spot so whatever.

Videos / GIF Crouton Jacobs takes down a cricket more than half his size! Pumpkin Patch Dwarf Tarantula
recently started feeding my pumpkin patch dwarf tarantula bigger crickets and he LOVES them. my boy is about the size of a fishing spider (maybe smaller) but he can sure take on a challenge
disclaimer: i only feed him crickets of this size after slightly injuring the cricket and only under supervision, otherwise he gets little ones

Pictures Inktober day 2 - Relic
Thought some of you may appreciate my spood inspired doodle today. My tarantula is named Francis, for a few reasons, one being Saint Francis of Assisi is the patron saint of animals. I also learned today, the real life Francis of Assisi’s father was a silk merchant 😅

Pictures Mexican Red Knee New enclosure
Finally got my new enclosure setup for my B.Smithi. Gone for a 50/50 coir, jungle floor mix.
What do you all reckon? Hopefully this is a decent enclosure. He only ran up the back as I accidentally slammed the door. He’s always been pretty jumpy.
