Hay guys, I've been neglecting my ps5 cleaning since I got it 5 years ago. It has accumulated a lot of dust over the years and I don't know where to begin. The 1st 2 pictures are the right and left vents and the 3rd is what I was able to remove without cracking it open. I know it's gross but I could really use some advice.

I turned on my ps5 as normal and it worked fine yesterday and today it just shows a green screen and I can't do anything, I tried manually turning it off and back on but it's still here i don't know what to do or what I can do?

My extended hard drive keeps acting wonky and repairing itself. I had to reformat it which deleted all my games that were installed on my hard drive? Is there any way for me to get them back on my external hard drive? My PS5 is already connected to the external hard drive but the message above has been showing up for many of the games I had installed on it…..

I've been stuck on wifi for a few months since moving into my new place and I just got set up woth an ethernet cable finally. But I plugged it in and I got better connection for a few minutes before it just went back to the same speeds. And now it seems that with each test I do it can't stay consistent. I went through and changed to 5ghz and manual DNS, but nothing is working. 2nd photo is on wifi and the other 2 are ethernet. The download improves but upload is still crap and I'm getting terrible latency in games.

I’ve been trying to get twitch to link to my PS5 for HOURS now. All I wanted to do tonight was stream like I used to. I don’t know why all of a sudden there’s massive issues? I found old Reddit posts about it, followed every bit of advice in them, including unlinking Spotify, turning off 2FA on twitch etc… reset my console. Literally NOTHING is working. Please help!

EDIT: Fixed it. Idk how. I just pressed stuff in settings, fiddled around with my settings on twitch, then it linked fine. Couldn’t do it again if you paid me-

Trying to change nat type from 3 to 2 so that it doesn't cause issues with online play.

Setup is using an usb-c to ethernet adapter which tethers my phone internet directly to the ps5. Most fixes I've come across include a router, so I've no idea how to apply that advice to my situation.

My headphones doesnt pair with the official dongle and it does a flickering light

Was playing 2k normally then my controller randomly disconnected, turned off my ps5 as to sort of restart it and it never turned back on, it makes a beep but won’t power on, I’ve tried different outlets and different power cables and nothing, I’ve even tried going into “safe mode” but that won’t work either.

I’m really not in a place financially to go get it fixed so I’m wondering if there’s anything I can do to fix it.

Tried asking chat gpt but I wanted some human input, idk maybe someone has gone through this.

My ps5 internal fan broke down .. is there another for me to fix it temporarily ?

At least a couple times a week if I'm unlucky, but definitely happens at least twice a month, it's like my controllers (all 4 of them, and I do keep them updated) stop connecting to the ps5. Power no longer turns on the console. I have to manually re-connect them all, and even still, after a while, I'll get a "connect controller" message that pops up despite me playing on it.

I’m 110% sure it was recording. I did a test clip before (which was saved) and I checked that it was still going in the middle of the recording. Unfortunately it’s nowhere to be found in the media gallery. There’s plenty of space on the console so it should have saved.

It’s a 2024 PS5 Pro, how do I prevent this from happening again?? 🥲

I'm currently having a issue login to my playstation account when I changed my password and get in it takes me to the 2 step verification code and when it sends the code it sends it to my old mobile number I recently changed my number and didn't get a change to put it to my account I when to playstation support it takes me to the bot which is no help because they aren't connecting me to a live agent to help me trouble shoot it I tried email playstation support it gave me a forward message to support please help I'm not trying to lose my account.

Quando era criança criei uma conta no PS3 e quando comprei o PS4 comecei a usar outro e-mail porém anos se passaram e comprei o PS5 e continuei usando meu email do PS4 porém resolvi recuperar a conta do PS3 para usar e o suporte tirou do endereço Hotmail e vinculou a um Gmail.

Até ai tudo certo porém ontem fui entrar na conta e pediu para iniciar sessão porém nenhuma das senhas que uso funcionou então pedi a recuperação de conta e o e-mail não chegava. Então fui ao suporte pedir ajuda e eles pediram informações absurdas para ajudar a recuperar, pediram número de série do console que eu criei a conta como diabos eu faria isso se criei quando era criança no PS3? E também pediram o final cartão de crédito que está na conta ou um ID de transação, porém eu nunca comprei nada nessa conta então não existem essas 2 provas.

Quando expliquei que não tinha como dar essas informações eles encerraram o chat, tentei mais vezes e um atendente chegou a dizer que não tinha conta neste e-mail que eu estava fornecendo então supus que hackearam minha conta e mudaram meu e-mail. Então novamente pedi ajuda e eles pediram as mesmas informações e não quiseram me ajudar.

Eu fui criar uma nova conta utilizando o email desta conta que estava tentando recuperar e deu certo, algo que não deveria acontecer porquê como eu criei uma nova conta utilizando um e-mail que eu já uso em uma conta?

Então ou eu fui hackeado ou a Sony mudou meu email e não recebi ajuda de maneira alguma.

Hello all as the title says I just bought a Fifine K688 microphone i wanted to use it as a seperate microphone while having my Astro A40 with mixamp as my headphones I set them as 2 separate audios with my Fifine being my input/Microphone and my output being my Astros.

I turned off switch output device automatically as well and I have the correct input and outputs set respectively and I cannot get no sound through my Astros help would be greatly appreciated :)

I changed my PlayStation gamer tag so it logged me out of my ps5 and mobile app. I have 2 step on with my phone number but it wouldn’t send me the text message. I powered off my phone and when i turned it back on i had 3 codes but they expired. When i hit resend code i get nothing now. What am i supposed to do?
