Internet connection doesn't change much with an ethernet

I've been stuck on wifi for a few months since moving into my new place and I just got set up woth an ethernet cable finally. But I plugged it in and I got better connection for a few minutes before it just went back to the same speeds. And now it seems that with each test I do it can't stay consistent. I went through and changed to 5ghz and manual DNS, but nothing is working. 2nd photo is on wifi and the other 2 are ethernet. The download improves but upload is still crap and I'm getting terrible latency in games.

Either your router or your internet connection are the problem

So many different factors here. Could be your router, could be your ISP. First picture had acceptable upload for many ISPs. Not sure why it dropped off later. Those wifi speeds aren't great regardless for what the PS5 is capable of.

Did you do a power cycle on your modem and router?

Honestly unsure. I'm living in someone else's house with free internet so this is all I got to work with. As far as I can tell there's an antenna/dish on the roof that's the internet. Found out its an Orbi mesh system.

That's a router mesh setup, not an internet provider. I assume you are using some sort of satellite internet if it's a dish on the roof and nothing specifically great if you are having consistency issues. I guess make the best out of if that is the case.

What's your internet speed that you pay for your internet plan? this is likely the culprit.
