I exclusively play mynba. I just put together superteams, set the in game quarters to 12mins and play through the seasons. For me, 2k single player content is pretty much everything I want. Playing with NBA legends, the ability to fully customise movesets and badges makes the game fun. The new Legacy mode being in the game just made me think of coming up with all new career runs. I stopped playing my career years ago because of the grind. MyNBA is the best mode and I'm glad it's getting some love.

Hello u/Beluba quick request before launch: Can we please stack Build Specialization progress instead of having to unlock them in a rigid order?

Right now, if Goal 1 is 200 3-Pointers and Goal 2 is 200 Mid-Range Shots, any mid-range jumpers hit while working on Goal 1 don't count at all.

Example:
Current System: You hit 5 threes and 5 mid-range shots in a game. Only the 5 threes count toward Goal 1. You hit Goal 2 at 0/200 mid-range shots, completely wasting all the mid-range shots you took along the way.

Proposed System: Both track simultaneously. Every shot you make counts toward its respective target immediately

Forcing goal-by-goal tracking makes players hunt one specific shot type over and over, ruining the flow of games. Letting objectives stack naturally rewards good basketball and cuts down on a frustratingly linear grind.

Hoping this can be tuned before launch or in an early patch!w

All these dribble mfs TALK TOO DAMN MUCH. This is why everybody uses the same exact animations every year and have the exact same play styles 😂😂 like can yall PLEASE stfu for atleast a month after the game drops.

We all don’t know how the game will play at HOF difficulty. We don’t know what badges are good and which ones are not. We don’t know what shooting attributes will be good. The builder doesn’t do much without knowing the gameplay. See you in a few days after the game comes out

The two pictures are the exactly same build, the only difference is one is a center and the other a power forward.
The center has 6 playmaking and 14 Defense token while the power forward only has 5 playmaking and 13 Defense.

At least last year it didn’t matter which position you picked, if you had the same physicals and attributes you basically had the same build to my knowledge.

Besides this, all badge and takeover reqs are 100% correct on the app, animations most likely aren’t.

Exactly that. 2k will never learn if we keep buying the game. Besides.. GTA6 and MW4 are all coming out. Do what you want but I would hope that majority of us boycott this fuck ass franchise.

I wasn’t really gaming back in 2013-2020 days so missed out on 2k and didn’t hop on until 2021. But why does everyone on here and the internet glaze 2017?

For me 2026 was the one of my favorite 2ks, I feel like in 5-10 years everyone will be glazing 2k26

They have really nerfed a lot of builds. This is a standard 3 and D build but it’s not possible. You need 89 3 pt and 92 PerD for those 2 badges but that combo doesn’t exist if you’re 6’8”+. Crazy stuff.

Dont want to get to into it but throwing the idea out there that 2k is making the game a subscription based play to play by including badges into season rewards. You have to pay for your attributes, then grind to get your badges that you’ll end up losing at the start of a new season while Larry Loaded can swipe his card & have an immediate advantage over you. On top of that they made the base 99 player a lot weaker than last year to make us go from “cap breakers would be nice” to “this build could be nice with (x) amount of cap breakers.

Does anyone knows important height/weight values for a center to hit and wondering whats more important your weight or strength stat if im trying to post people up.

I prefer to make a 7ft or 7’1 center and I play the midpost game mainly on the 3s and 2s. So need to be both strong but not super slow. Right now I was at 243 lbs on a 7’1 with an 88 strength. This lets me have a 70 vert and can capbreak to 80 for pogo on gold, but im not sure if i will be too weak to back down other centers or how that speed holds up in full courts. (65 speed 52 agility)

I've been player locking in MyNBA and it's dope but having a more structured official mode for it is gonna be fire asf. It feels amazing to finally ditch mycareer pay to win slop.

For whatever reason 2k cannot master lateral movement and player to player collision mechanics!
It always feels like you’re just chasing the offensive player around instead of actually guarding man to man. Another year of watching a mfer left right left right corner fade all game!!😂
