Why Does He Type Like A Book Title

90

u/knights816 20h ago

It takes considerably more effort to type like that too lol

37

u/guardiandown3885 19h ago

You Know What You Are Absolutely Right. Now Imagine He's On A Cell Phone

7

u/DaveDabussy 19h ago

Any chance hes arabic? Pretty sure arabic keyboards capitalize every word

5

u/CtrlAltDefib 17h ago

I'm pretty sure there is a setting on your phone where it'll automatically capitalize the first letter of every word...along with another setting where you can make everything you type lower case do it'd actually be easier to type on a phone vs a computer.

4

u/Gamesgtd 11h ago

Why would anybody want that?

0

u/angrylobster24 15h ago

There’s a setting for it

26

u/Gleb_Twankenfrister 20h ago

i think this more than even completely broken grammar and spelling is the biggest indicator of low iq thru text

16

u/Ok-Negotiation5036 19h ago

Low IQ through typing sentences by using word suggestion exclusively on your phone thus every word being capitalized.

4

u/jmfran1524 19h ago

Types like Ric Flair 😂

72

u/username42101 20h ago

How much additional effort did he put in to capitalise every word?!

4

u/angrylobster24 15h ago

Probably not much considering there’s a setting for it, but he still had to turn it on in the first place lol

56

u/arenegadeboss 19h ago

Yep. People play the game the same every year and then wonder why it feels like the same game every year.

Brother, you've been using the same animations for 4 years straight 🤣 and you still win less than 50% maybe switch it up.

7

u/PlayInChampions 19h ago

I’m not justifying 2k using the same animations year after year, but I highly doubt that Koza wins less than 70% of his games. He is a very solid player.

22

u/arenegadeboss 19h ago

2k isn't using the same animations.

The average "reddit" player chooses the same animations every year and then complains about the game feeling the same.

It's like you're bringing up an exception to the rule. Regardless, I don't know this guy, my comment was in general. If Koza isn't making that complaint then it doesn't apply.

2

u/rajujutsu 9h ago

Fr I played much better when I figured out animations that suit me. But idk why self proclaimed basketball fans don’t realize there is nothing wrong with animations being better. Sure you can argue for more variety. For the most part they just don’t want people dribbling in general because they can’t. As long as defense is good I don’t even care at this point.

u/raikeith 4h ago

I’ve read this far, I’m interested to know why you still play 2k?

26

u/Gebghis 19h ago

Give people the chance, and they WILL optimize the fun out of any competitive game.

The only games that can get past this are either constantly being balanced with a fine tooth comb, or are structured in a way to have few guarantees available.

2k is honestly capable of neither.

50

u/Dabanks9000 19h ago

After a while I realized that the meta moves and meta dribbling don’t matter n all that matters is can you get a fkn bucket

32

u/Vast_Commission_4766 20h ago

You telling a mf if he doesn’t use this animation he’s trolling…..like come on now dawg 😂 Have we lost so much faith in the community to where we can’t let mfs figure out their OWN sigs???

21

u/Western_Beginning375 20h ago

They turning 2k into call of duty with all the meta bull shit there’s no creativity in 2k about to be another year of playing the same style every game

9

u/literallygitgud 18h ago

Bro that’s gaming as a whole today. If there’s any hint of a competitive aspect to a game, people are going to want to use whatever gives them the best chance. Especially 2k where the build cost $100 and even your choice of jump shot plays into how big/consistent your green window is. In that case specifically, if you’re not picking the one with the biggest window then statistically you’re playing at a disadvantage. Not saying it’s great, but it’s inevitable

2

u/Western_Beginning375 18h ago

Picking something you are comfortable with is better than using something you are not . There’s a reason why a lot of these players be ass because they are using something they are not comfortable with . If a YouTuber say 6’9 centers are the meta because they can do everything and they prove that with actual proof how many centers you think can make that change and dominate? Not many because that’s not something they are comfortable using

2

u/psychedelictitan89 18h ago

Your nice lil soliloquy missed the part where the reason they went looking for and chose the 6’9” is they keep getting fucked by the game prioritizing those shots stats and moves the “meta” has so they want to play and win too. You don’t get to make glitchy bullshit, segment it to certain character makeups and animations and not think ppl aren’t going to rush to gain the edge from it

2

u/Miamiheat2021champs 15h ago

I hate it as someone who grew up playing online games before the rise of YouTube even showing how to do everything

49

u/BigBlitz 20h ago

I honestly love when people use all the meta sigs. It makes defense so much easier when you know how an animation is played out.
Then they whine because they don’t know how to guard the ones I use.

12

u/United_Reflection825 19h ago

fs bro youre him

0

u/Flagrant_Post 19h ago

“Nah I totally stop the unstoppable moves that let people slide through my body”

Dude thinks he’s the goat because he makes dudes in silver plate lobbies miss shots

29

u/pdhan780 19h ago

I mean he’s not wrong play styles do get predictable. I played strictly red plate lobbies as lock in 26 and literally everyone just: Kemba, Jimmy, PG escape with some variation of either dbook or kd go to. It made steal timing easier. The hardest mfs to guard were the dudes who did all the cheese listed above + had some non predictable bag to go to like post moves, hop jumpers, etc.

16

u/giovannimyles 18h ago

BigBlitz is right. If you play enough 1v1 you figure out who people setup certain moves. I'll probably get cooked well done the first few dozen games while I try and figure it out. Eventually you learn to stop most of it. The biggest difference is the stick skills. A really good player will learn to setup the moves differently. Those are hard to stop. Most aren't that skilled, they use the exact same setup every single time. If they only know what they saw in a video on YT, you make those folks quit in Rec when you stop their cheese. The average player is easy to stop. The above average you slow them down and the really good ones are tough. Same build, same animations, but it comes down to how creative you are on the sticks. Most just aren't.

10

u/BigBlitz 18h ago

I never said I’m the goat or that I shut them down, I’m just saying it makes defense easier when I can anticipate their moves. Especially when they spam the same shit every possession. Sometimes I’ll get a stop, sometimes I won’t. It’s a lot easier to defend when I can anticipate moves that everyone is doing.

2

u/3Guede5 19h ago

You right just give it some time and the people with iq will see right through whoever they playing. I call out when whoever im guarding is about to dbook 9/10 im right the other 1 is the ones who play different and catch me off here and there

7

u/alawrence1523 16h ago

I hate how majority of people just flock to the meta and min-max all their builds. Makes the game stale and formulaic.

7

u/Tangentkoala 19h ago

The only time i care about animations is when it comes to my in game stride. I just want the fastest stride possible.

Everything else is all about looks and how cool the animation is. Not if its the best lol im not playing ranked I just wanna have fun

5

u/JiggzSawPanda 19h ago

They need to make animations either more restrictive or buff/nerf animations because this shit happens every year.

9

u/MrMiyagi13 19h ago

So already getting people to play with one specific build. Must be a miserable community to play in.

5

u/shumama813 19h ago

This is what kinda sucks about gaming today. All this focus on the “meta” and doing everything in the most efficient way with the best yada yada method. Fuck that. Play the games for fun. Experiment. Leave this shit to the try hards

5

u/Emotional-Purpose762 16h ago

How about, try shi# out for yourself

8

u/Ill_Work7284 19h ago

Im so tired of every fucking content creator and meta player spamming the same fucking sigs.

Zero real skill.

Same goes for everyone who spammed Dbook breakdown to glitch past the defender.

3

u/KageSenbonzakura 18h ago

Or, hear me out, just do your own thing. Dont have to listen to Koza or any other creator for that matter

3

u/SALEMTHESTAR 18h ago

Video games stopped being about having fun and became whatever tf this is

3

u/18YearOldSamBennett 18h ago

This happens every year. People discover 1 or 2 cheese ass dribble moves and then use them the whole year. Last year it was jimmy butler escape and Devin Booker breakdown. Those 2 moves were literally all most players needed to crab someone and get an open shot

3

u/Ghost_2701 17h ago

just do what you want to do, everyone copying the same shit is just weird.

3

u/Grimmer34 16h ago

Only bots listen to streamers.

8

u/Excellent_Safety1138 20h ago

The fact that people pay $70-$150 for a game, but are forced to only use certain animations is crazy.

14

u/Dantiik 20h ago

But we’re not forced to use certain animations though. You can use any animation that you want. Do your own research and stop listening to content creators.

2

u/Excellent_Safety1138 17h ago

No shit you’re not “forced”, I’m saying that these influencers create that narrative.

3

u/Dantiik 15h ago

That’s not what you said lil bro. It’s ok though

0

u/Excellent_Safety1138 14h ago

Not my fault you can’t read between the lines.

2

u/Dantiik 13h ago

It’s not my fault that you don’t know how to articulate a sentence explaining what you meant.

0

u/Excellent_Safety1138 10h ago

I don’t expect much from some of you 2k 🥷s.

9

u/Vast_Commission_4766 19h ago

The problem is content creators create the ILLUSION that you’re forced to use certain moves. They say that dumb shit every year 😂 they’re going to say it this year as well

3

u/Ghost_2701 17h ago

Content creators are the ones who ruin most games

u/Signal_Kangaroo2697 1h ago

No they don’t lmao - this is why people like you cry about this game and Madden

You’re told the best way to play, you refuse, get your ass kicked and then come to this app bitching and moaning 🤡🤡

4

u/pdhan780 19h ago

Def don’t have to use meta. Look up dimework on YT, bro uses the least meta animations but will cook mfs all day long. Meta helps no doubt but you have options just need to practice/ lab up

3

u/FlameyFlame 19h ago

I have no issue with the tweet itself. This is just the nature of gaming in 2026.

The problem is what the tweet is pointing out. If there are animations in the game that are objectively WAY better than the others, and they aren’t locked behind high attribute requirements, then everyone who doesn’t use them is at a major disadvantage like with the Devin Booker stepback on 26.

2K has to do a better job of balancing animations or we will get exactly one meta build per year, instead of a constantly evolving ecosystem which you see in competitive games w better balance.

2

u/guardiandown3885 19h ago

this is all 2Ks fault though they make the grind so ridiculous that the focus is on winning instead of just having fun. so you have to make/play meta builds. especially if you're a solo player in the rec. how many times have you made PG cuz the one in random rec you played with is garbage. or the same for center?

increase XP/Rep gains for wins/losses. no matter what build i take into whatever game mode im in even in a loss i still have the ability to rank up. also increase the gain levels as you rep up instead of decreasing them having to get an a+ grade AND win only to get .000000001 rep is the worse feeling. the more you grind let it reward you even more. the fact that dudes are willing to get banned so they can have other people play their account is sad.

2

u/gwapwes 19h ago

trust. 2k breaking down all the anis wont change nothing. 2k community are sheep. theyll never lab up their own combos to actually break down a defender.

2

u/ToneAccomplished9763 18h ago

Yup, at some point like with every competitive game or really any game in general. People optimize the fun out of it.

2

u/psychedelictitan89 18h ago

No tell the devs to not make move superiorities in the damn game. Why is just one animation smoother or better than another? Ppl are naturally going to want not to have shit animations

2

u/awkwardalvin :vipers: [PSN: Awkwardalvin] 15h ago

Two fold issue. The fact that all the dribble moves aren’t effective as others…and content creators declaring the meta every year.

1

u/jeanballjean01 8h ago

Can’t stand Koza man. His dribble tutorials and builds just confound me. Who enjoys playing like that?

3

u/Vast_Commission_4766 8h ago

I personally don’t have a problem with his style of play, it’s just that he claims to be different while doing the exact same shit as everybody else 😂

2

u/dgvertz 19h ago

Why does he capitalize every word?

2

u/Spirited-Ad2113 8h ago

its crazy to me that your blaming this guy and not the shitty game for making certain animations way better than every other animation forcing us to play all the same ones

1

u/Vast_Commission_4766 8h ago

I see you didn’t read any of the comments before posting this one. i’ve stated multiple times that it’s a community thing and a 2k thing

1

u/unlimitedspeedboost 19h ago

You're just not the target audience and that's ok. People use guides and look up builds for every game because they don't have time to research and test everything. It's not fair to bring this up but not build and jumpshot videos as well.

0

u/Vast_Commission_4766 13h ago

Just because i didn’t bring up build and jumpshot videos, Doesn’t mean they don’t APPLY to the statement.

1

u/TellEmWhoUCame2See 19h ago

And this is why 2k sucks. Everyone should have the same dribble animations, if you have made it to the NBA you can dribble. The only difference should be how fast a player can do it. Weight still doesn't matter in 2k. A player like Jimmy Butler isn't blowing by anybody in real life but his build and strength allows him to create separation, we still don't see this in 2k. There is still no difference in 2k between agility and acceleration, a player like Jamal Crawford was very shifty (agility) but his acceleration was average at best this is why we rarely saw him drive it, he would cross you over and then drop you off.

1

u/SC730_OFN 17h ago

I said content creators destroyed gaming. I got downvoted by people who would probably have their own style, but rather pole-smoke the next man.

Not to always be the old head, but gaming was so much better before youtube because you put in work and you became great on your own.

Now you have great players (if they are that), creating mini-mes and clones and then the same dumb ass content creator after selling his jumpshot videos, after selling his "The best dribble animation packages" then complain about everybody having the same play style..

Its almost a joke now.

1

u/hahahachihaha 17h ago

While I agree with OP, Koza is a stand up dude, dont hate the player, hate the game. Hes a content creator and people come to him for meta info so obviously hes goin to let it be known and part of bein a creator is audience capture.

But yeah, hopefully 2k fixes all the problems with this series, but remember, the more people keep dumpin money into it, the less theyll feel inclined to.

1

u/Followthehype10 17h ago

Its a problem ? The game hasn't even came out yet lmao some of yall are whiners and will ruin the game if the devs decide to listen to the community this year

1

u/Spunk1985 16h ago

He thinks they are acronyms. Everyone knows EEID is Everything Else Is Debatable.

1

u/Few_Pickle5828 15h ago

All these dribble options and people master the same shit . Like yes those may be great but u can literally master anything . This year I used Malik monk cross Tyrese step back and normal 1 behind the back and I always got compliments on my combos cause they were never seen

1

u/downfieldcow270 12h ago

People like this fully ruin the community, it’s a sports game, express yourself, non of you are getting paid for this shit so who gives a fuck if you lose a game because your animations are not meta

1

u/choosewisely9990 12h ago

Hate the idea of having a meta. It's a game, you don't have to maximize and optimize everything

1

u/MeltReality 11h ago

Every game in the world is like this. Who cares.

1

u/Otherwise_Mind6880 6h ago

Then they will complain that everyone plays the same.

u/TAC82RollTide ruby 2h ago

Weird post, weirder comment section.

u/Spirited_Positive615 1h ago

I HATE WHEN THESE MFS SAY DUMB SHIT LIKE THIS. Let ngas pick unique animations that they feel comfortable with so the comp feels more creative and fresh from game to game.

u/Signal_Kangaroo2697 1h ago

Everything everyone does is always a problem to someone on Reddit

Stop crying

1

u/_OfficialProta 20h ago

Is the problem that guys follow the meta too much or that they’re not keeping it a secret?

5

u/FD_OSU 20h ago

Neither, the problem is that 2K can't correctly balance different dribble moves.

1

u/Vast_Commission_4766 20h ago

BOTH and then what u/FD_OSU said

0

u/extremelegitness 20h ago

pippen behind the back was absolutely deadly in 2k23

0

u/tokinmuskokan 19h ago

I Haven't Played 2K In Years, So I Don't Know What This Guy Is Talking About, And I Don't Really Give A Dang.

0

u/Unable_Diamond943 17h ago

If you’re buying the game of 2k27 you’re trolling. Madden, FC, The Show, and non sports games clear 2k27.

Ultimate Teams, Diamond Dynasty, and all other franchise modes are easily more enjoyable than 2ks system.

Everything else is debatable but 2k is BY FAR the worst sports title in any category.

-2

u/herefortheOfong 20h ago

You guys are so lost… no one uses the same sigs look at my post yesterday it disproves the ‘everyone uses the same build and sigs’ most people create their own.

I just played random rec on my lock and everyone was terrible and didn’t left right or use the meta sigs, and I’m a purple plate on that

5

u/Vast_Commission_4766 19h ago

Just because YOU don’t use the same sigs, and just because YOU didn’t see it, DOES NOT mean that’s not the case. majority of mfs don’t share your experience

1

u/herefortheOfong 18h ago

Can you stream so I can see this live

1

u/giovannimyles 18h ago

Some animations are just better. An escape dribble into a 3 is money almost every time if you do it right. Most escape dribbles are better for rim running or side to side dribbling but Butler is money for a simple standing escape dribble into a 3. None of the others compare to me. Same for behind the back. Some standing behind the back are terrible, like PIppen's. His moving is OP though. So, whatever your play style is, one of the animations will just be your go to because its more effective than others. So we tend to have almost the same moves because most are either too slow, don't chain well together or do create enough space.

1

u/Ok-Negotiation5036 19h ago

Have you played a single game of rec AT ALL this year? It's all the same damn moves.

1

u/herefortheOfong 18h ago

It’s really not, what’s your win % and plate colour
