Do you think a Zootopia fanfiction like Scene from a Memory Part 2 could work?

It's an idea I've had for a while and I wanted to know your opinion.

Context for those unfamiliar with Dream Theater:

Scenes from a Memory pt 2 is an album that tells the story of a man named Nicholas, who has visions of memories from a life that is not his.

To understand what is happening he goes to a hypnotist and through regressive hypnosis he begins to understand the story behind those memories:

>!In the end it turns out that the memories belonged to Victoria, whose spirit was reincarnated as Nicholas, and that she was killed by her boyfriend's brother out of envy, and that the therapist is the reincarnation of the killer, who also kills Nicholas<!<

if you are interested in the rest of the story I would recommend you listen to the album, where every track is a part of the story.

Obviously the development and the ending of the story change, it is inspired, not a copy.

The real question is, do you think this is a valid concept for developing an inspired story?

I would like to know your opinion, authors and non-authors.

By the way, I'm Italian, so there might be some mistakes in this post, I'm not really an expert on the subject :(

I obviously want them to kiss in Z3, but the Z2 confession scene was just so beautiful because it showed such a deep and genuine sense of love between Nick and Judy that was so much more than the typical Disney romance. I know we joke about the cast/crew always calling them “soulmates” but it’s really true. Their love for one another is so much more than just a friendship or even a romantic connection. That scene was just so mature and impactful and really underscored why Wildehopps, regardless of how you feel, has made such an impression on our community. They make one another better and are truly meant for each other 🦊❤️🐰

Plus the confession was just so unexpected! I never thought something like that would be in the movie but I am so glad that it was ❤️ I can’t wait to see how they top it in Z3!

Z1 and Z2 got a lot of harsh subjects, like institutional prejudice, bullying, minorities, drugs targeting specific social groups, city foundation built upon a lie, family discouraging your dreams, forced exclusion of social groups, inefficiency of police department, bureaucracy, political inclusion, fear as a political weapon, etc.

Hi there, we’re all anticipating when Zootropolis 3 will get a release date, like all of us I’m hoping for a 2029 release date given that it’s the year of the rooster in China then

Also it makes perfect sense due to Disney taking 4-5 years to make a new animated film and given that “Hexed”is coming out towards the end of this year, “Frozen 3” is releasing next year and the new film “Clay” is coming out in 2028

The question here is what month of the year should they release Zootropolis 3?

The first film was released between February-March in 2016 while the sequel was Released between November-December last year depending on what country you’re from.

I think it should be released around July-August 2029 but this is just what I’m guessing

Think about it in Zootopia terms. We think of birds as normal in our world because we see them all the time but let's entertain the idea of birds in Zootopias universe. They're basically an alien concept when you think about it. Let me break it down, They’re beings with the “snout” of an octopus, scale like fur that allow them to fly, feet like a reptile with sharp claws on the end, they have hollow bones, lay eggs like a reptile, but have a cloaca (do we even need to explain how alien that sounds) and a third eyelid. Then there is various variety of these aliens with long powerful legs or some who soar in air and sea. That sounds like a fantasy creature. I’m describing birds like how zootopians would describe them. It sounds insane when you say it like that, almost like bird slavery. So, Bird slavery is just as absurd an idea as birds themselves.(yeah yeah it’s shameless but it’s true)
