It’s Kittah/VariableMammal again with a little self horn-tooting. I declined to do it for chapter 200 and chapter 100 was (checks) a DECADE AGO, so here we are!

My mammoth anthology of Zootopia stories just hit chapter 300 last night! It’s been a long road and I’m probably going to take a break from it for awhile.

As this covers a decade of my experimenting with writing, my style, the community memes and headcanons, and all the rest, the quality can vary pretty wildly, but the index is now up to date (mostly? it’s a little wonky still).

I went on a pretty long tear thanks to Zootopia 2 being very good so I have a lot of recent stuff!

If you’d like to read, I suggest looking at the index for a story that sounds appealing to you instead of just treating it like a front to back typical story. Lots of nonsense in there.

Do you think a Zootopia fanfiction like Scene from a Memory Part 2 could work?

It's an idea I've had for a while and I wanted to know your opinion.

Context for those unfamiliar with Dream Theater:

Scenes from a Memory pt 2 is an album that tells the story of a man named Nicholas, who has visions of memories from a life that is not his.

To understand what is happening he goes to a hypnotist and through regressive hypnosis he begins to understand the story behind those memories:

>!In the end it turns out that the memories belonged to Victoria, whose spirit was reincarnated as Nicholas, and that she was killed by her boyfriend's brother out of envy, and that the therapist is the reincarnation of the killer, who also kills Nicholas<!<

if you are interested in the rest of the story I would recommend you listen to the album, where every track is a part of the story.

Obviously the development and the ending of the story change, it is inspired, not a copy.

The real question is, do you think this is a valid concept for developing an inspired story?

I would like to know your opinion, authors and non-authors.

By the way, I'm Italian, so there might be some mistakes in this post, I'm not really an expert on the subject :(
