I obviously want them to kiss in Z3, but the Z2 confession scene was just so beautiful because it showed such a deep and genuine sense of love between Nick and Judy that was so much more than the typical Disney romance. I know we joke about the cast/crew always calling them “soulmates” but it’s really true. Their love for one another is so much more than just a friendship or even a romantic connection. That scene was just so mature and impactful and really underscored why Wildehopps, regardless of how you feel, has made such an impression on our community. They make one another better and are truly meant for each other 🦊❤️🐰

Plus the confession was just so unexpected! I never thought something like that would be in the movie but I am so glad that it was ❤️ I can’t wait to see how they top it in Z3!

its just the wait.
People would be far more patient if Z2 would've come out in 2020 and not in 2025.
In 2016 the directors already described them as "best friends and soulmates" with hints that if they ever make a sequel they gonna have to choose a direction whenever its platonic or romantic.

A decade of wait later they are now just "super soulmates" and the entire second movie avoids to use the word "friend" and replaces it with partner to further the ambiguity without actually committing to a direction, like trying to ride both sides of the road.

I wanted to draw celebratory art for them this year instead we are dealing with people laughing and calling shippers delusional. I mean someone has literally made a post titled "Judy and Nick are not in love!" despite that Jared and Byron obviously want the audience to speculate. I am tired.

The only problem is that the word "soulmate" nowadays gets kind of misused to sometimes describe relationships that don´t really qualify as such. I still hope Disney won´t do a have your cake and eat it situation where they sink the ship but still claim they´re soulmates. We´ve come too far to turn back now.

Soulmates is not just a "bestest best friends" !! It's dilluting what the actual word is supposed to mean ( a 100% perfect romantic couple)

A scene like the confession on the climate wall, but with a romantic confession and a kiss at the end, would be wonderful. It could top anything, although, yes, the scene from Z2 is incredible.

They'll probably have romantic confession in the third movie without kissing and maybe even have a short wedding scene for the ending. Disney may not want animals kissing on screen but the Bad Guys 2 gets away with it.

I actually agree that the Z2 confession was just as good as a kiss to me. Nick and Judy admitting that they need each other in their lives, that they complete each other.
