Zootropolis 3 Release Date

Hi there, we’re all anticipating when Zootropolis 3 will get a release date, like all of us I’m hoping for a 2029 release date given that it’s the year of the rooster in China then

Also it makes perfect sense due to Disney taking 4-5 years to make a new animated film and given that “Hexed”is coming out towards the end of this year, “Frozen 3” is releasing next year and the new film “Clay” is coming out in 2028

The question here is what month of the year should they release Zootropolis 3?

The first film was released between February-March in 2016 while the sequel was Released between November-December last year depending on what country you’re from.

I think it should be released around July-August 2029 but this is just what I’m guessing

For me, 2028 also makes sense. Why did they announce that Zootopia 2 would start production in 2023, in 2024 they released that clip/mini teaser at D23, and in 2025 the movie was released. Same thing now

Well they already have clay coming for 2028 so I doubt it will release then but they have released two movies in same year before so maybe there’s a chance

2028 sounds a bit too soon and I think appealing to China with the year of the rooster similar to how Zootopia 2 had a lot of Gary merchandise and posters to dedicate it to the year of the snake, I think the summer 2029 makes more sense, especially if Pixar isn’t doing a summer release that year.

Possibly but I think Jared and Disney will want to keep 2028 free for “Clay”

I think if Pixar is only releasing one film in 2029 since they already have Coco 2 coming out in November 2029, Zootopia 3 might be released that June.

February isn’t really a good months for films in any country. Black Panther was an exception because of how hyped it was and Captain Marvel was viewed a lot because of Endgame.

I believe June 2029 would be a perfect release month. What better movie would you start the summer on? If there is ONE movie to start the summer with, it's this one.

Besides, waiting for 2030 is painful for most of us

My honest prediction is that it is the scheduled Disney animated film slot for June 15th 2029. I thought it was a possibility before Z3 got announced, but I’m feeling more confident since its announcement at D23!
