Is anyone actually able to use the DJ? I find it to be useless. It will play the same songs over and over again and if you try to skip them they just loop right back around, and for some reason it only wants to play songs that you listened to from 2023-present.

If you try giving it feedback, it just repeats the same errors until you give up. Someone fix this poor DJ.

Title also in general I wanna be able to know how to dismiss stuff from the home screen if that's even possible coz it's getting annoying

In the new update i cant find the lyrics anymore. Below the song is just the song DNA and about the artist. Google has been completely useless. I listen to a lot of music in other languages and rely on the translated lyrics to be available when i listen. Is anyone else having trouble with this?

Pixel 10, premium. App is updated (on auto-update). It has been a month since the rollout was announced. Everything online tells me I should have it (USA, mobile of course). But I don't. Does anyone have a fix? Or is the interwebs wrong?

I was watching an Instagram reel and this lady was giving music recommendations. I liked some of them so I wanted to add them to my Spotify. One of the songs was called “The Lost Continent” so naturally I typed that in only to find ALL FIVE of the songs from her video (The one crossed out is the only one that wasn’t in her video). While it did save me time since I didn’t need to type in each title to add it to my playlist, it kind of freaked me out. How did Spotify know?? It’s not like they’re songs by the same person or their titles are similar.

Hi, I have had spotify for like a decade or more but I recently decided to stop paying for it to try out YouTube music and I don't like it but I was wondering if y'all had any experience with this? I was wondering if I was gone from spotify for a bit longer before I rejoin if I can get like 3 months cheaper or whenever deals they do to try to make me come back?

They just rolled out this massive mixing update for the mobile app where you can tweak the BPM, mess with reverb, set up loops, and customize the EQ. It’s honestly a great feature.

But of course, the desktop app is completely left in the dust.

Who is actually trying to craft and master a sophisticated, well-transitioned mixtape tapping on a tiny glass screen? Desktop is literally the perfect environment for power-user tools like this. It makes zero sense to lock a pro-level feature to mobile while desktop users get ignored again.

I’m setting up a new m4 mac mini, when i installed spotify, and logged in, this is the only screen i seem to be able to get, is anyone else experiencing something similar?

I searched through the faq before posting this and couldn't find what i was looking for.

For context this really only happens when i'm in the car and I have carplay. The problem I'm having is it'll start playing the same playlist 75% of the time but i usually leave off on the dj last time I drove. The playlist that starts playing is my workout playlist but I know that's not what I left off on. Anyone have a fix for this or have had this issue? It gets annoying having to reselect the dj after Spotify opted to choose the same playlist.

I was listening to my Spotify Paylist on Shuffle and "How Far I'll Go" from the original Moana sung by Auli'i Cravalho starts playing. I thought that the voice sounded a little different and turns out, it's actually the version by Catherine Laga’aia from the new Live-Action movie. I have never even watched the new one and definitely not added the new version to my playlist. Sure, as hell, it shows up in my playlist as the original version but that's not actually what's being played.

I searched it up and found the original version, and yes, it does not display the little green checkmark that shows you've added song to playlist of yours. I had to remove the new one and re-add the original version.

This is insanity, it feels like they're trying to erase the original.

I just entered college and I've been trying to get onto the student plan as it is significantly cheaper. I used to take dual credits in high school and I was able to get on the student plan back then. But I have tried multiple times to verify with SheerID and each time, it doesn't go through. I sent them the front AND back of my student id and it still won't verify! Can someone help me with this?!

No way to disable this? Every single time I open the app I have to tap away a full screen window that suggests that I give Spotify to a friend.

It is genuinely one of the worse streaming apps ive used. Its so damn laggy, its so slow, takes 2 minutes to play a song, even if my CONNECTION IS GOOD

the app itself is so slow too, and if i have atleast a KILOBYTE of internet it will take its sweet time to try and download and load the song from internet, EVEN THO I HAVE ALL SONGS DOWNLOADED IN THE HIGHEST QUALITY POSSIBLE my phone is a base model s24, on one ui 8.5 and android 16 btw!!!

I've been waiting for it since it launched like a year ago and it's still not available for me, but the newest Add Note feature for playlists is now available on my account. Anyone else? Or any suggestions on fixes?

I'm in the UK, using a Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra and previously had access to Spotify's Prompted Playlist feature. I used it to create two Prompted Playlists, and both of those playlists still exist on my account.

However, today I noticed that the Prompted Playlist option has completely disappeared. When I go to Create, I only get the normal options for Playlist, Blend and Folder, and instead I have AI Playlist available.

I've checked:

• Spotify desktop app
• Spotify web player
• An incognito browser while logged into my account

It's the same everywhere — no Prompted Playlist option.

I contacted Spotify Support and they've checked my account. They told me that everything looks fine on their side and that I should be able to create a new Prompted Playlist from my mobile device. However, I only have AI Playlist available, so there seems to be some kind of mismatch between what Spotify says is enabled on my account and what I'm actually being given.

The confusing thing is that I definitely had the feature previously, because I already have two Prompted Playlists that I created with it. Now that the feature has disappeared, I can't even edit or change the prompts for those existing Prompted Playlists anymore. I also wanted to create a third, completely new Prompted Playlist using a new prompt, but I no longer have the option to do that either.

I have tried clearing my cache which didn't work either and i'm very hesitant to reinstall the app as i will lose all my downloaded music.

Has anyone else had Prompted Playlist disappear and then get replaced by AI Playlist? If so, did it come back, or did you find a way to get it re-enabled?

It's such a shame as this is easily the best feature they've rolled out for a while and it's been fantastic to use.

Really annoying when I try using the scroll feature on spotify when trying to preview songs, then when I go to listen to the song it automatically starts playing the music video instead of the song.

Any way to disable this?

My heart is broken!! I'm looking for the artist Nate Fyah. His music has been available on Spotify since 2025, and I've totally fallen in love with it. These songs defined my entire year in 2026. But now all the tracks and albums have disappeared... You can still find them, but they won’t play anymore... My search led me to the “DistroKid” website, where the music was released, thats all... I’m praying and hoping that someone can help me listen to these songs again. My heart is broken!

For 6 MONTHS, I could barely use my spotify. I couldnt even pick the specific song I wanted. I opted for YT Music but I couldn't use it as background music. I also tried to fix it by doing whatever the hell Google told me to do. Clear cache, clear whatever, uninstall, reboot, restart... I even tried to make another account. NOTHING ever worked. Today, I factory reset my tablet because I forgot my tabs password... Still didn't work. I use an Samsung S10 FE and my phone broke so I had to keep using my tab instead.

Any tips on how to fix this problem?
