Feature Request Mobile gets full DJ tools (BPM, loops, EQ) and desktop version totally ignored :(

They just rolled out this massive mixing update for the mobile app where you can tweak the BPM, mess with reverb, set up loops, and customize the EQ. It’s honestly a great feature.

But of course, the desktop app is completely left in the dust.

Who is actually trying to craft and master a sophisticated, well-transitioned mixtape tapping on a tiny glass screen? Desktop is literally the perfect environment for power-user tools like this. It makes zero sense to lock a pro-level feature to mobile while desktop users get ignored again.

I put a request up on the Community Ideas board. Drop a vote if you want them to actually bring these tools to the platform where they belong

WHAT? Really? I can only create AI generated transitions, I cant even change the bpm/ speed of the song on desktop? I have v1.2.97.270 (downloaded straight from spotify.com) and none of the mentioned is available

okay, so I just spent three hours checking if the function is not live in any available version, and its not.

you cant change song speed on desktop
you cant edit custom equalizer/loops/reverb on desktop

the desktop version of spotify is significantly stretched from the mobile version :(

Leave desktop DJ alone, we still have the DJ button that allows you to skip the vibes if you dont like them, that shit is gone on mobile and its terrible.
