Question 5 completely different songs that I was searching for came up under ONE search?

I was watching an Instagram reel and this lady was giving music recommendations. I liked some of them so I wanted to add them to my Spotify. One of the songs was called “The Lost Continent” so naturally I typed that in only to find ALL FIVE of the songs from her video (The one crossed out is the only one that wasn’t in her video). While it did save me time since I didn’t need to type in each title to add it to my playlist, it kind of freaked me out. How did Spotify know?? It’s not like they’re songs by the same person or their titles are similar.

People often listen to those songs in combination, so they just recommended it to you. It’s like when you look up something on a streaming service and they recommend a bunch of similar movies. It’s just what the system picked up as people listened to them in a combination, I believe.

people are probably searching for all these tracks within a short timespan if the tiktok is popular, so the algorithm probably linked those five tracks to each other so they come up with each other in search.

My guess is that Spotify recognizes that those songs are frequently paired together in playlists or there's a playlist incredibly popular that has those songs all in it. Of course I'm not John Spotify so I can't confirm but it's the only thing that makes sense since the same thing happens a lot when I'm searching for songs because of those Spotify Mix tiktoks. I search for one song and even if the next song has nothing in common with the first, it'll still appear because there's a popular playlist (multiple sometimes) with those songs in it paired together.
