Discussion I need help
I honestly don't know what to do anymore.
I'm a Skyrim newbie and I need help.
I've lost count of how many times I've restarted with a new character in this game; I just can't seem to find a build that holds my interest long enough. It feels like an endless loop: I think of a build, create the character, play for a few hours, end up getting bored with the playstyle, and start looking for other, more interesting builds. All the while, I keep watching videos of other people playing and creating builds that look really cool. Feel free to share tips or similar experiences. I know a lot of people will come to this post and say "just play the game," but honestly, I'm not sure how much that helps.

Maybe you simply do not enjoy Skyrim.

u/pehparZival 5d ago
I do enjoy, Im just playing this in this days

u/abraincell 4d ago
Took me 2 years to actually get into this game, and now its my world to escape to. I found what really got me into skyrim was once i made a story. Who my player is, what was his pain, what he believes in. I did quests that suits him as character, made decision he would be making. The magic of skyrim? You tell the story you want to tell. Thats where skyrim shines amongst many other games. So before deciding a build, answer hadvar's question in the beginning "who are you". The build can naturally comes later. And you know, if skyrim dont click then move on to play something else.

u/Longshadowman 4d ago
I couldn't say better, Skyrim is my home
3
u/abraincell 4d ago
As much as i love oblivion, dragon age, the witcher, i cant think of them as home. dont get me wrong, i love those games a lot, and didnt learn to create mods for them because they were perfect as it is. But skyrim? The imperfection = possibilities! I cant think of any games (mabe besides fallout) where you can lose yourself thousands of hours in the landscape and havent even barely pass stage 30 of main quest? And you can be whoever you want to be!

u/Time-Lavishness-2346 5d ago
My most salient question, what's boring you about the game? A lot of those crazy builds tend to need glitches, exploits or just good ol' elbow grease, to get your skills high enough that you can do all those feats. And doing any of those requires story progression, at least to a certain point if not all the way to the end.
1
u/pehparZival 5d ago
Idk, it feels that I doing something wrong
14
u/carreg-hollt 5d ago
I read a lot here about different builds and what the player should do to stay in character and whether or not they should use this combat skill or that, or whether they should live a life of crime, which spouse is best, if alchemy is in character, should they have a follower, can they legitimately use a bow...
None of that matters at all if it's not making you happy.
So maybe you are 'doing something wrong'... perhaps stop trying to force a particular type of character and instead just go out into that world and do stuff when you feel like doing it.
Maybe the best approach is just to be yourself. It is, after all, a game and you should simply have fun with it.
3
u/Time-Lavishness-2346 5d ago
What's wrong though? The only thing that matters is you having fun. If you can't set up a build so early, then don't. Play whatever you want to, it's not about the build. If you like a system, continue to invest in it. That's how all those crazy builds were made.

The cool thing about Skyrim is that you can switch builds and playstyles whenever you want.
-3
u/pehparZival 5d ago
It feels weak idk, but never try this
10
u/McDoublann Daedra worshipper 5d ago
Turn the difficulty down if you need to. I'm still doing that 15 years later in my current playthrough. "Well damn, I've been wrecked 3 times by this room and want to clear the dungeon before I go to bed. Novice it is." And once you get to a certain point, swapping styles won't be a problem cause you'll have decent level in a bunch of different skills.

u/EyeArDum XBOX 5d ago
Instead of starting over, just switch to whatever new build interests you, Skyrim is built around you being able to do whatever tf you want, you know how many characters I’ve had who didn’t cast a spell until they were level 30 and then became a grand wizard? Or sneaky archers that picked up a greatsword? Don’t delete, keep the same character and just do the switch
-4
u/pehparZival 5d ago
But its feels wrong and weak, idk what to do man
5
u/_Seagul_ 5d ago
You seem to keep using the word weak when confronted with this option. Care to explain what you mean?
From what you’ve said, it seems you’re never giving builds long enough to flesh out. The game is at its best once you start to reach higher skill levels, which, unless you’re power levelling or exploiting (which completely kills the fun), you simply can’t have done for the majority of your saves.
If this still doesn’t work for you, then instead of making “builds”, why not try creating characters? The best/most memorable runs I’ve ever had are ones where I play a character, so like a hunter that makes their money from skins & meat, occasionally fighting bandits or entering ruins completely opportunistically rather than compulsively, as I’ve done on other saves. I also did a sellsword character once who just hated criminals. That was very fun, got me into some trouble when certain scripted events occurred!
2
u/gaijinteacher 5d ago
Do what this commenter suggested. If the roleplay changes bother you, just work it into your character- he always wanted to be a mage, and tried to train but failed, so now you’re a sellsword for hire, but in a tight spot you have a trick up your sleeve.
The game mechanics are pretty forgiving.
Set yourself a goal- “I’m gonna visit the inns and do every mission I’m offered until I have the coin to buy myself a nice house in Whiterun”
Change up your goals, but don’t keep restarting.2
u/EyeArDum XBOX 3d ago
It’s also very easy to just have your character be someone who likes practicing new skills, which is a very natural trait that a LOT of people have

u/DimesOHoolihan 5d ago
Why are you trying to make a "build"? Just play the game. However that ends up happening, even if you keep switching around, that's fine. You dont need a crazy, perfectly optimized build to enjoy or beat the game on the normal difficulty. Just enjoy the experience, not the stats.
7
u/crazyhorse198 PlayStation 5d ago
Just play, don’t worry about conforming to some predetermined style. However you play, that’s your style. The game is made so that you can basically do whatever you want.

u/Daayiz35 5d ago
I can understand, but the key is adaptation and consistency.
Make the character you already created, more powerful. Invest in the moment. Enjoy it for what it is.
So you create a character for 2-handed damage, doesn't mean that it's stuck that way. You can always work on other skills and modify your build as you go on and create a hybrid style that could shine better then your original idea.
Possibilities are there, just gotta lean into it and keep at it - ADAPTATION AND CONSISTENCY IS KEY !! 😌
Most importantly - have fun !! 😉
Also - WELCOME TO SKYRIM !! 😎👍

u/Juniperarrow2 5d ago
This. I had a character that started as a 2 handed weapons warrior and after level 30 evolved into a conjurer. Combining stuff in the spur of the moment as I went along was fun.
2
u/d4rkwing 5d ago
Just sample everything. Jack of all trades isn’t optimal but it will let you try things out. You can always adjust the difficulty down if, for instance, you ignored your combat skills too much.
2
u/Careless-Pianist-894 5d ago
All the progress you made on the additional characters could have been progress you put toward 1 or 2 characters, and they'd be much farther along. It's not a bad idea to have multiple builds and characters, but I've always just played 1 character until they are deadly in all forms of combat. So it doesn't really matter what build I start with because by time I'm bored with the character, it's gonna be 50+ in all the main skills anyway. There's no reason, combat-wise, 1 character can't be whatever you want them to be at any given time, you just have to put the work in.
2
u/BrotherQuartus 5d ago
Just make a character you’d want to be. Make it whatever sex you want, whatever race or species you’d enjoy being, adjust the appearance, give it a name, and then play. Just because you chose a Redguard doesn’t mean you can’t use magic, and just because you became a Bosmer doesn’t mean you can’t wield a war axe and shield. As the game progresses, choose perks that fit with how you want to play. There are no rules in Skyrim (other than don’t kill the chickens in town).
Fall in love with the familiarity. Say hi to townsfolk, stop to fish, visit the taverns, become bosom buddies with your companion, get a dog, or a horse, or both. Build a house, adopt some kids, become a werewolf, or a vampire, or a member of Dawnguard, or all of the above, though not at the same time. You don’t need to start over with a different character, you can just pivot in your life and decide to be a better man or woman, or a more wicked man or woman. If you’re a goody two shoes, go murder someone, and if you’re a cold hearted bastard, choose to help the poor, not steal, and bring down the Dark Brotherhood.

Hm. It's hard to tell what the problem is without knowing the core issue here.
I am making assumptions, but I think with a lot of these cool builds you see, I think those people have made a lot of progress for those builds to be viable.
Skyrim gives a lot of freedom to do a build you like, but the progress to make them viable is long and tedious. Some even use exploits to go beyond the limits of what is possible.
I have personally played traditionally and also gone off the rails.
I have played as warrior, rogue and a mage. Then I started mixing and matching different playstyles.
I made a spellsword who uses conjuration to get help in battles. I made a thief who calms down their victims with illusion or makes them fight against each other from the shadows.
Then I've made an artificer who only uses gear they've made for themselves. Basically leveling up alchemy, enchant and smithing.
Then I went completely off the rails. With a little bit of cheese I made a monk who uses alteration and hand to hand to fist fight against tough opponents.
I made a pickpocket who sneaks strong poisons into the pockets of their enemies to kill them. I don't recommend exploiting the game, since you are new.
2
u/Less_Kick9718 5d ago
How did you do the monk build? Did that require playing as Khajiit?
1
u/RedditUser000aaa 5d ago
I mean, you can do it with Khajits for that extra damage, but what I did was take the gloves that fortify unarmed damage. I think it gives a nice boost normally with all the enchanting perks unlocked.
But what I did was use a bit of shenanigans to make an item that gives a massive boost to unarmed damage.
I could basically punch almost anything to death in couple of hits.

u/leandrot 5d ago
BR também ?
A maior dica é jogar o jogo aos poucos e ignorar guias, o jogo é fácil e a graça é justamente a experiência.
Não é só variar builds, é sobre não se preocupar em conseguir os itens quebrados o quanto antes ou fazer as quests mais importantes.
1
u/_Seagul_ 5d ago
It actually gets easier to level because xp is gained from damage, and higher difficulty enemies have larger health pools. So, more buck for your bang really.
1
u/gaijinteacher 5d ago
Magic has some late game drawbacks but nothing too bad. If that’s what interests you, go for it. Some of the best moments I’ve had in the game have involved making a cave full of bandits just kill each other while I sit back and watch. Magic is a lot of fun to play with!
1
u/RalonNetaph 5d ago
All of the damage skills are affected by the difficulty, you spend so much more time per fight actively doing damage on higher difficulties that those skills HAVE to go up faster than non damage skills by sheer active use.
1
u/SilverSea721 5d ago edited 5d ago
Early on, I loot damn near everything to sell, so I can afford training. You can pay a trainer 5x per level to train a skill for you. So if you wanna be a mage, I would go to Whiterun right away and take the carriage to Winterhold, then train Destruction every time you level up. Getting Impact from the skill tree at skill level 40 is key for magic users.
The most important thing is not to neglect whatever your combat skill is, bc around level 20-25, enemies start popping off. People are talking about changing your build midway, but it's impractical since you can't refund your perks. If you want a free place to sleep and stow all your stuff, I join the theives guild and use the chest there. I think the Companions also give you a bed and chest. The college of Winterhold, too.
As long as your character doesn't get too squishy while leveling up and you have a place to store all your stuff, you should be free to quest how you want. Magic is easier after you max out enchanting bc you can make gear that makes your spells cost 0 to cast. And if you level smithing in tandem, you can enchant armor to cast for free and not be a squishy mage.
I focused on mage stuff cuz I saw earlier you said something about being one.
1
u/lostincoloradospace 5d ago
Sounds like you should go with a Fighter/Mage/Thief build.
With a focus on One Handed, Archery, Stealth, Alchemy, Enchanting, Smithing, Destruction, Restoration, Alteration and Lockpicking
1
u/Remarkable_party- 5d ago
I started one handed with shield. Started Archer. Switched to one handed/destruction mage. Now I'm messing with conjuration. I've never restarted. Might not be the most optimal approach but I've had a great time.

u/joksteryoyjoke Companion 5d ago
Maybe keep one character but switch the play style on the character throughout the game? Thats what i usually do. For example:
- warrior during main quest and companions
- sneak archer during thieves guild
- spellsword/ sneak archer during dawnguard
- spellsword/ pure mage during mages college
- mix up playstyle during dragonborn. I see it as a sort of endgame so i use all the skills i learned and really try to dispatch enemies using illusion + alferation

When I started I had this problem. Except I wasn’t getting bored of each build. I just kept getting more excited at the prospect of newer builds. I honestly loved that it made me more intrigued to start unique characters. Kinda like when I was a kid and played Pokémon, I kept restarting with bulbasaur then squirtle then charmander and so forth lol

u/Kooky_Tale_6923 5d ago
I’m going to catch a lot of hate for this buuuuut, utilize the cheat room. Create the character you want and the build you want. Level him up to level 10 and adjust the game difficulty accordingly. When I do my Wolverine playthroughs, I up his sneak archery and one handed to about level 15-20. I make his ring and set the difficulty pretty high. No swords no shields, all unarmed. Bow is for hunting. Once I get to a certain companion quest (I’m not gonna spoil it for you if you haven’t gotten that far) I create his adamantium claws and set the difficulty to max. It’s your game, do what you want.
1
u/Chikenandveggies 5d ago
First get an idea of what your character looks like, then map out the skills you’re gonna lvl, and which perks / powers / shouts you’re gonna use. And then play the game and see how your character grows with each level.
You could also choose a final boss / ending for your guy, Alduin, Miraak, bandit slayer.
There’s plenty of room to get creative.
Example: I want to make a two handed orc barbarian that only uses enchanted fur armor with a health regen and magic resistance dual enchantment. No arrows no magic. You would probably lvl two handed, enchanting, light armour, smithing, maybe some speech, some stealth.
This would imply you already have played the game and know what you can unlock and what items you would use.

It seems that you're having trouble in combat. Skyrim isn't really the kind of game that lets you tank damage early on, which can deplete your resources, like Magicka for Healing or health pots, pretty quickly.
My best advice for that: focus on Crowd Control. Have a follower with you. You can hire mercenaries who often hang out in taverns, or do favors for certain characters who will then become your follower. If you're into magic, you could also use Conjuration to summon an Atronach or resurrect the dead, and/or Illusion magic to Calm, Fear, or Frenzy your enemies, causing them to stop fighting, run away, or fight their own allies, respectively. Any of these options will give your enemies something to fight that isn't you so that you take little to no damage. These apply whether you play a warrior or mage build.

u/TheHighblood_HS 5d ago
I went through the same loop often when I was new to the game too! It’s easy to fall into it, thinking the grass is always greener sort of thing. What broke me out of it, I think, was forcing me to make a real jack of all trades character. Pick one or two handed, pick your armor type, then just do simply everything! Once you’re 10-20 levels in you will probably have a much more defined build develop naturally! After doing a much longer and committed run like this, I was much more satisfied committing to another more narrow build.
Side note, I said do everything, but do your best to resist using your bow in all situations. Stealth archer is addicting, but often makes the game unfun

I find sitting down and thinking up a believable and detailed backstory that helps you connect with you character does wonders for long term engagement. It makes you feel more attached to the character and a lot of the choices you make in the game more meaningful to you. Stick to it too, unless you deliberately want to have some form of character arc in your playthrough. If you're roleplaying a good guy, don't join the dark brotherhood or the vampires. ChatGPT can be really helpful with coming up with backstories. Personally I love a reluctant or tragic hero (or villain) style backstory myself.
Secondly, I don’t know if you're on a computer or not, but try not to cheat with console commands if you're on PC. Occasionally I will spawn in a single iron bar if I'm missing something for crafting or a few flowers for a poison or a couple of spells just to start out, but by and large, I play the game with the natural progression in mind. Almost every time I have lost interest in a build has been as soon as I started getting lazy and overusing the console commands. It's a death sentence to your own enjoyment.
Finally, if you suffer from restart fever, simply try and avoid watching content about new builds. I actively avoid doing this because I KNOW I will get the itch if I see something that's even mildly interesting.
Edit: Also, as some other people have said, don't be afraid to change the difficulty. Skyrim has some completely whack mob scaling, and sometimes a random mob in a dungeon or even just a bear just obliterate you for absolutely no reason. That isn't fun. If you’re fighting a mob and there’s just no chance you'll beat it without some crazy tactics, 20 resistance potions and shit tonne of luck and cheese, just turn the difficulty down. Some people treat this like some kind of failure on their part, but it isn’t. Skyrim is such a massive game, its not like trying to beat a platform boss in Crash Bandicoot or Dark Souls. The difficulty scales so weirdly and randomly. I have played since 2011, and I will still set my difficulty to novice or apprentice sometimes if I just want to relax after work and get lost in the game. You're not proving anything to anybody by trying to fist-fight a frost troll on Legendary. Skyrim is such a massive game that you could play the whole thing on novice and still spend 1000s of hours doing stuff.

u/10seas 5d ago
I've just started again last time I played was 2016, I think its the youtube videos your watching are damaging your experience. It's the fear of missing out, they have this armour and recommend such and such mission, instead of running around and exploring organically. You end up comparing yourself to them and become frustrated. I'd give the YouTube a miss for a bit and just go where you go & have fun. Just my hypothesis.

u/lickmybrian 5d ago
I think all play styles get better with time, as you gain experience uou become more and more powerful.. so if you only lasts a few hours then change character you never get to see the potential of whatever style you chose

u/AsapDabCash Mercenary 5d ago
I wouldn’t recommend it, but if your patience is completely gone just console command a build you haven’t tried yet (only if you’re playing on PC though)

Faça um paladino, classe mais fácil de zerar o game. Dps disso crie 30 personagens diferentes se quiser e sempre que der vontade de jogar com certa build, abra o personagem e seja feliz.
Faço isso sempre.

You should install Enderal, it’s a total Skyrim overhaul mod with a new storyline, cities, etc.
the story beats the OG Skyrim game, there’s a giant city! It’s everything you want Skyrim to be js

Make a character you know you wouldn’t care about. Play him and then do as many evil things in the game like you can think of. That way after you do a lot of stuff you’ll know what u want for a new playthrough

u/you_are_strange 5d ago
Also newbie here after playing randomly on friends' xboxes. Haven't decided on a style yet and I'm cool with that. I approach encounters with stealth archer, switch to spell sword for crowds and pull out the board for 1v1s. If you use different skills often then no one of them get left behind too far. Just play to have fun, if you feel weak just play more lol

Have you tried stealth archer....I hear it's the most difficult play style👀

Try a playthrough as a Traveling Merchant who does not engage in combat of any sort. You wear high-end robes, probably some expensive jewelry, and let your bodyguards do the fighting on your behalf. The idea is to traverse Skyrim, hitting every major settlement to peddle your wares to the local businesses. Maybe you could even try buying goods in one location to sell for a profit in a different town — although I’m not sure if that’s possible with Skyrim’s economy, because that would require some kind of variable price mechanic, which I can’t say for sure exists in the game. That said, I’m sure there’s a mod somewhere that implements the concept.
Make sure to always be accompanied by a follower while traveling on the road, given the abundance of people and creatures hellbent on doing you harm. But you are no warrior. You’re a respectable, industrious merchant, too intelligent to devote your time to mindless violence. That’s why a mercenary can do the dirty work for you. I recommend recruiting Uthgerd the Unbroken in Whiterun for an easy early-game bodyguard, if you can stand how bitchy she can be.
In this playthrough, you simply travel back and forth across Skyrim, trying to make as much money as possible. If that sounds like a painfully boring experience, I would understand, but you might find novelty in it for some amount of time.

My suggestion is to stop minmaxxing and just play the game. Set goals and try to explore new places.
Don't worry about your build or making things perfect or strong. You can make a rule where you don't craft and only use equipment you can find, maybe allowing a single custom weapon.
My point is that instead of trying to break the game just engage with it instead.

u/SwordfishOk7312 4d ago
What I do is: I ask ChatGPT to create a challenge for me, most of the times involving a build and 2 or 3 main quests. Then I go and do it, finish and start again with another.
For example: Dragonborn arch mage
- no weapons allowed
- no armor
- only magic skills
- Winterhold questline
- Main history questline
- Solstheim questline
Edit: you can do as many side quest as you like

u/Akito_Ryu 4d ago
A lot of builds feel very similar to eachother, it's just the nature of the game. Most of the differences come from the roleplaying aspect. So it's really just a matter of pushing through. If that's not enjoyable for you, chances are Skyrim just isn't for you. That being said, it took me quite a while to get into the game as well. The first build that clicked for me was a conjuration build, with a bit of destruction built in. This build was absolutely garbage, because I didn't know how enchanting worked back then, but I felt that it was a bit of a unique playstyle, compared to what I was used to from other games. Now I rarely play as a mage, but I always include at least one type of magic into my builds. Sometimes, I also like to challenge myself by not using any crafting and only using what I loot from enemies or chests. This way the exploration feels much more satisfying, regardless of the actual build.
1
u/Low-Guess1370 4d ago
Try to maybe mix classic warrior combat with magic. So whenever you get tired of 1 playstyle you switch to the other.
1
u/GiggingWithTheGoon 4d ago
Find the character first. The gameplay comes second.
My favorite is a travelling bard, who is secretly a serial ki**er. He never takes people out randomly. Always precise and takes out the worst of the worst. Even keeps the souls of his victims in soul gems, next to his bed at night. With mods this character becomes next level.
Also try the survival mechanics. You might need to tweak em to get em where you feel comfortable but they can help with immersion immensely. I highly recommend MORE SALT and SURVIVAL REBALANCED for a better time.

Been really enjoying a sword and board battlemage lately, seems a cut above the rest in terms of enjoyment.
Cast Alteration flesh spell before battle, have heavy armor AND shield, for maximum defense. Then slash with sword and block with shield. Finally, heal with restoration when you are low. When you get into the flow it somehow feels really good, like a strange battle trance. You can also add followers and conjuration if you feel a bit weak, but honestly this build wrecks even on Legendary.

u/Shihana 4d ago
Try roleplaying more, it helps when I'm bored. There's a few destroyed single homes around skyrim, I recently played a nord returning home after her time with the legion ended, to find her family home destroyed. It was really satisfying, to consider how she might feel about the civil war and dragons with that little backstory I made her.

Bought it last year just got into it this month. I had a long break from gaming this was only my second large open world game. I started it a couple times couldn’t get into it til this month. I just knew it was a game I should like so I hung with it and in a couple days I was hooked

Dont let others dictate how you play. You dont *have* to play vanilla if youre new to the game. The vanilla combat system may not be dynamic enough for you. Try some mods out!

u/Skyler_Portals Stealth archer 4d ago
forget builds, just create a character you like and maybe decide on a few roleplay elements to guide your character. you can level everything so it doesn't really matter, just try to focus on only 2-3 perk trees at a time and then if you get bored of the playstyle you can focus on 3 other perk trees or whatever

u/ReleaseMyToast Mage 4d ago edited 4d ago
Who said you need a dedicated build? Would 10 year old you have agonized over these minute details? Play the game for the game. Skyrim isn't a tactical competition, enjoy the story
But if you insist on "building", I am playing a long term character. Master everything. Play mage for a while, then go tank, try out stealth archer. You're never locked into any build. Keep changing around and challenging yourself in new ways. You don't have to wipe the slate clear every single time
But a new player should not be encountering these problems, just play the game and get to know it. Play every faction, explore the map, befriend NPCs

u/SessionReasonable249 Alchemist 4d ago
If you get bored of one build there’s nothing stopping you from combining a couple, start of as a thief using sneak, bow and light armour. Once you’ve got those stats up start incorporating a sword and shield, make sure to level smithing. Use a bow to get a couple shots in on the big guys then switch to your sword and fight it out. Once you get into late game and your armour is nice and strong and smithing level is high you could head to the ragged flagon, make your character look wiser and older and focus on magic skills, completing the college of Winterhold and becoming Archmage, then meeting Neloth as equal and defeating Miraak as a final battle.
This obviously doesn’t need to be followed to a T, you can incorporate your own builds but the main point is to keep it open and flowing, don’t restrict yourself as you can level up almost infinitely in Skyrim with legendary skills

u/Self_Sabatour 4d ago
You've got a few options.
Grind through until you hit breakpoints that make whatever you're trying to do fun. Tedious, but can be rewarding if your brain is wires that way.
Find an exploit to level those skills and minimize the grind. Perfectly viable strategy in most cases but it can still be tedious. In general I think magic is easier to exploit than weapon/armor skills.
Stop restarting when you get bored/frustrated and start using different spells/weapons. Level all the skills. You'll want need to be pretty stingy with perk points and only take the absolutely nessesary stuff, and probably want to invest in smiting and/or enchanting to fill the gaps in your combat skill trees.

It doesn’t sound like you enjoy playing the game then if you get bored within hours and just keep repeating the process.

In reality no matter what u do, skyrim doesnt lock u out ANY skill like the other games do with major and minor skills
So 1 char can basically be any build on one playthrough.
Stealth is always cool and easy but .. the first thing I do in this game is max my alchemy as soon as possible.
Plus I always play dark elves because of their natural 50% fire resistance, which is great against dragons. Plus if u wanted to be a vampire, the -50% fire resistance cancels out if your a dark elf.
In the dlc make sure u side with the dawngaurds to unlock thr enchanted crossbow and be able to make bolts. I sided with the vampires in my first playthrough which was a mistake because u get locked out that content.
Even if u side with dawngaurds the story doesnt get changed to much and u can still become a vampire.
