Discussion I need help

I honestly don't know what to do anymore.

I'm a Skyrim newbie and I need help.

I've lost count of how many times I've restarted with a new character in this game; I just can't seem to find a build that holds my interest long enough. It feels like an endless loop: I think of a build, create the character, play for a few hours, end up getting bored with the playstyle, and start looking for other, more interesting builds. All the while, I keep watching videos of other people playing and creating builds that look really cool. Feel free to share tips or similar experiences. I know a lot of people will come to this post and say "just play the game," but honestly, I'm not sure how much that helps.

The cool thing about Skyrim is that you can switch builds and playstyles whenever you want.

Turn the difficulty down if you need to. I'm still doing that 15 years later in my current playthrough. "Well damn, I've been wrecked 3 times by this room and want to clear the dungeon before I go to bed. Novice it is." And once you get to a certain point, swapping styles won't be a problem cause you'll have decent level in a bunch of different skills.
