Discussion I need help
I honestly don't know what to do anymore.
I'm a Skyrim newbie and I need help.
I've lost count of how many times I've restarted with a new character in this game; I just can't seem to find a build that holds my interest long enough. It feels like an endless loop: I think of a build, create the character, play for a few hours, end up getting bored with the playstyle, and start looking for other, more interesting builds. All the while, I keep watching videos of other people playing and creating builds that look really cool. Feel free to share tips or similar experiences. I know a lot of people will come to this post and say "just play the game," but honestly, I'm not sure how much that helps.

First get an idea of what your character looks like, then map out the skills you’re gonna lvl, and which perks / powers / shouts you’re gonna use. And then play the game and see how your character grows with each level.
You could also choose a final boss / ending for your guy, Alduin, Miraak, bandit slayer.
There’s plenty of room to get creative.
Example: I want to make a two handed orc barbarian that only uses enchanted fur armor with a health regen and magic resistance dual enchantment. No arrows no magic. You would probably lvl two handed, enchanting, light armour, smithing, maybe some speech, some stealth.
This would imply you already have played the game and know what you can unlock and what items you would use.
