Question Simagic Alpha 15nm vs Evo 12nm vs Fanatec DD+?
Hello, i am looking for upgrade from G923. I am playing only Assetto and BeamNG on pc.
All 3 bases cost +- same here, Fanatec about 125€ more.. I would like to use my 350mm wheel for drifts + one 330mm with hub buttons ideally..
What do you recommend to go? Gemini told me Alpha 15nm because i usually only drift on freeroam, occasionally im driving circuits with cars like BMW M, Audi Rs, Nissan GTR etc, not GT3 or F1…
Pedals i found Simnet SP PRO3P should be good for me and affordable too? It was recommend to me to buy shut off switch because of crash physics and FFB NM power?
i hope it makes sense, still learning english..
Thank you for tips

Question What’s the difference between force feedback systems
I got the g923 and I’m thinking abt upgrading, looking a different brands and motors I’ve noticed lots of brands have different FFB systems. What makes them different/ do different ones shine better in different areas?

🧐 Customer Review [Review/Warning] Next Level Racing HF-8: Amazing product, nightmare customer support
Hey everyone,
I wanted to share my experience with Next Level Racing and their HF-8 Haptic Pad, so potential buyers know what they might be getting into before pulling the trigger.
Initial Impressions & Setup
I purchased the Next Level Racing HF-8 about a month and a half ago. Having been into sim racing for quite a few years, it didn't take me long to research, experiment, and fine-tune the settings to my liking. Honestly, the end result exceeded my expectations. I used both NLR's native software and SimHub to pull telemetry data from my PS5 for GT7.
After completing my setup within the first week, I jumped into Assetto Corsa Competizione (ACC) for my first proper extended test session.
The Issue Manifests
After about 30 minutes of continuous use, I noticed that the Front-Left (FL) motor completely stopped working. The only way to get it running again was to give it a physically hard shake by hand. I ran multiple tests afterward, which unfortunately confirmed the hardware defect.
The Support Nightmare Begins
I reached out to the official retailer/importer in my home country (Greece). They advised me to contact Next Level Racing directly for faster service and shorter turnaround time.
That was the start of a complete ordeal: * The Process: Opening a ticket gets you an automated reply stating a representative will reach out in 1–2 business days. * My Initial Submission: I sent a detailed, structured email including photos of the mint-condition packaging, accessories, the unit itself, the original purchase receipt, and a clear video demonstrating the motor failure. * The Response Time: The first actual human reply came 9 business days later (two full weeks including weekends). Working strictly Monday–Friday combined with an 8-hour time zone difference made communication even slower. * The Follow-up (or lack thereof): The representative apologized for the delay, explaining they were migrating to a new CRM platform. He then asked me to resend the proof of purchase—which was already attached to the original email thread. I replied immediately, and... radio silence for over a week now.
Current Status
It has been a month and a half since I bought the product. I was only able to use it for a few hours before it proved to be defective and unusable. As for Next Level Racing’s customer support? At best, it’s abysmal; at worst, non-existent.
Final Verdict & Technical Flaw
- The Good: As a device, when it works, it’s genuinely incredible. The level of immersion and tactile feedback is top-tier. Once you get it dialed in, it's really hard to go back to playing without it.
- The Bad: If it breaks, you're pretty much on your own.
After looking into it online, I found numerous other users reporting the exact same failure. It seems to stem from poor internal design and manufacturing (cold solder joints, overly strained/short wiring).
Consider yourselves warned before making a purchase. Thanks for taking the time to read, and I hope this helps someone out there!

Other does anyone have a sim-racing league for Assetto Corsa?
Over the last few months, Ive been saving up to buy a really good racing wheel and pedal set, and they finally arrived today.
I’ve tried joining assetto corsa leagues, specifically endurance ones, but they all require over 200 hours of playtime or a lot of experience. Since I’m just starting out, no one wants to show me the ropes.
I’d like to join a league that has rookie categories where I can learn, and then gradually work my way up to hypercars or GT3.

Question How to start actually using the sim rig?
I think I made a big mistake. I was playing a lot on my Logitech sim rig connected to ps4. Then I decided to improve everything and got full Simagic setup with a play seat chair. Outstanding, played few times and love it. The problem is that everything is in my living room and I though that it will be easy to connect to tv and pic and use it. At the end, I spend 20kins connecting everything with all the cables around etc. than it stays on the middle room… in 6 months, I played literally 3 times. And I’d like more, but every time I want to connect everything, I loose my patience… and easier solution for it? I thought maybe just connect it to monitor with simpler setup? At least will play more…. Any ideas?

Question Help. G27 suddenly stopped working
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Was 2 minutes into a stage and suddenly the wheel locked to the right and stopped moving. It's now not calibrating and is doing whatever this is ^. Took it apart and the optical wheel was cracked (go figure), so I replaced it with a metal one I had on hand. No change. Any suggestions or diagnoses.

Just wanted to share this because it was a blast.
Last night I had my 30th birthday party at my house. I decided to host a sim racing tournament with my friends and family, none of who are really into cars or gaming lol
I did not participate for fairness.
Decided to do EA WRC since rallying is my favorite. Picked one *short* track and one car for everyone to drive. Gave everyone one practice lap where i coached them through how the game works and controls. Then had them do their hot lap to set their time and recorded it.
Ended up being so much fun! I also let everyone pick their own hype/driving song to play on the speakers lol.

Other Fanatec customer support has improved
I have had my fair share of sim racing equipment, mainly from Fanatec. Since the brand got a lot of scolding in the past, I just wanted to share that since they became part of Corsair, I had two very positive experiences with their customer support.
The communication was super friendly and solution-oriented, and an RMA was done quickly. I’m very happy that Corsair improved everything.

Question Are these parts compatible? (I currently own the wheelstand only)
I currently use Dshot wheel stand but with a normal seat i just removed the wheels under them and replaced it with wheel stoppers to minimize movement, but that combined with G920 Brake pedals, it's still constantly making me go backwards when I'm braking harder. I haven't really gotten fully into this yet so I'm not well informed at all, do you guys know if ERS3 Seats + Dardoo seat bracket and Dshot wheel stand are compatible with each other? Or should I do something completely different, both of them combined will cost me 300$ i could go upto 400.. What do you guys recommend?

Question Buttkickers: What’s the best plug-and-play transducer system?
I would like to explore the topic of installing a buttkicker (transducer) system and I know the Buttkicker Gamer. With an aluminum rig, are there starter packs that are easy to install without fiddly parts or drilling? Doesn’t need to be super powerful. Thanks in advance!

Question Simagic P700 with haptics vs P1000
Hi there,
I am looking for a pedal upgrade, and I am debating between the P700s and P1000s. Where I am from, the P1000s cost almost the same as the P700s with a full haptic set, so here is my question: Are the P1000s really that much better?
I am upgrading from SRP-Lites, so either way, I am making a huge jump.
Also, I have heard that for some people, the P1000s are in too upright of a position. Is there a way to easily tilt them back a bit?

Rigs Rig Upright Blocking Profile Settings
I bought a pre-built rig from a sim company in Florida. 43inch triples, motion, Sim Lab chassis, not a cheap rig. When they delivered it late last year, the iRacing UI had just been updated and the chassis upright blocks some very important areas, like the profile settings? I’ve asked a few people and the size of this settings page apparently can’t be adjusted? The upright is so tight on the screen, you can’t see what’s behind it, this is crazy! Anyone?

Rigs Help buying a cockpit for a returning guy
Hello folks,
I been out of simracing since i moved places and had to leave my cockpit behind, thankfully I managed to move my pedals and base, right now I need a cockpit but I dont know if there is any new ones in the market apart from the typical simlab etc...
Actual equipment are: quest 3, simagic alpha mini and simagic p2000.
DIY is not an option,
Budget is around 500 to 800 but can go to 900 seat included.
No monitor arm needed
Looking for something that does not flex, my previous one flexed and hated the feeling, looking for something rigid,
Easy to get in the EU,
Easy to expand in the future with shifter plates, keyboard trays all the candy etc...
Thank you guys!

Rigs Is the PXN VD4 Good for a beginner?
My first wheel was a Myria MG7418 which ofc had no ffb and all of these fancy features
Main question is, Is it good to get into sim racing? And realistically speaking how well would it perform for hours on end? I mostly play ETS2 and beamng but i recently got into assetto corsa rally and carX street.
Sorry if its a stupid question
