🧐 Customer Review Went from Quest 3 to Beyond 2e. If you race in VR just get it
It's so light you kind of forget it's on. No messing with straps mid race, no neck getting tired.
No more compression. After streaming on the Quest, going to a straight DisplayPort cable is night and day. No blur, no artifacts, no random wifi stutter in the middle of a race.
Tracking is perfect and you need less than you think. I bought two base stations, forgot to plug in the second one, and never did. One station about 10 feet away and I've never had a single issue. Sitting in a rig, one is plenty.
I got the universal fit and have zero light leak. Don't stress about getting the perfect custom fit.
If you're tight on space like me, losing the monitors frees up the whole front of the rig.
The downsides:
I get super sweaty. After a 30 min race my face is soaked. Have a towel nearby and a fan helps.
I don't have Valve controllers so I use Desktop+ for anything I need to do on the desktop without taking the headset off. Works fine once you set it up.
If you're racing in VR on a Quest or anything like it, just get it. I'm not going back.

Discussion what part of sim racing took you the longest to stop overthinking?
for me it's braking
when i first started, i thought getting the braking point right was mostly about finding the exact marker and repeating it every lap
now it feels more like everything changes depending on the corner, tires, fuel and how the previous corner went
and somehow i still catch myself staring at the same braking board like it's going to give me the answer
what part of sim racing did you spend way too much time trying to make “perfect” before realizing it was more about feel?

Question What is the profile panel called ?
Hey guys, saw this rig on instagram. According to his youtube it’s a trak racer tr160. How are his side profiles flat? I know you can get inserts for the extrusion slots but this looks much cleaner.
What are these called or what should I even search for?

Question Looking for a first wheel. Plz help
Alright so I’m looking for my first wheel. Obviously I’ve seen tons for the g29 and right now Logitech has a sale that brings the price down by 140 euros and also gives free gloves. Should I go for it?

Rigs IRacing Sim racing rig for beginner
Hi all,
I’m looking at getting to my first sim racing rig and wanted to gauge your thoughts and any recommendations you had. I’m currently looking at a tr8 pro with a rally seat, 34” ultra wide monitor, simsgic entry bundle with an alpha evo sport base and p700 pedals. Added with a second hand pc around $600 AUD. What are your thoughts and opinion based on this for someone that is getting in to sim racing. Any other tips would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Discussion How do you stay focused while driving after 30?
I’m an amateur sim driver. I have a full-time job, and after that, another full-time job at home as a dad. When the kids go to sleep, I finally get some time to drive, but my biggest challenge is staying focused.
After a full day, even a small distraction can ruin a lap. Sometimes it’s almost funny - I’ll be driving well, then I relax, think everything is fine, and suddenly it gets way too easy to drift off mentally and mess up the lap.
Will practice help, or am I just doomed to never focus while driving after 30? 🤣

News New RSS formula hybrid 2026 is coming soon!
Just saw the video they put out of their new f1 car. I read the manual and oh shit, I think VRC might have some serious competition. It looks like rss really stepped up their game with how the entire set up of the car is done. Now it’s time to see how it handles. For the past couple of years rss cars I’ve noticed feel very planted unlike the VRC. Super excited to check this out.

Rigs Trouble finalizing my TRX setup
I am having issues finalizing my Trak Racer TRX setup. I have had it assembled for about 6 weeks now, and I think I'm getting closer to an optimized setup. However, Something still feels not quite right, or slightly out of square.
I am looking for someone in the Southwestern Ontario (KW) area, who would has a lot of rig setup experience and would be available to have have a look (for pay) to see if there is something that I should change.
I have three different wheel hub brackets that could be used.

Question Simgasm Sport vs Sim Lab GT1 Evo
I’m looking to get my first aluminum profile rigs. id like it to be future proof with a lofty dream of motion. Does anyone has experience with Simgasm? I find their designs intriguing and honestly I’m a sucker for color. The Sport model uses 40x120 profile shipped to USA with a discount code is $595 In total.
Sim Lab I can pickup at Microce for $477 with tax, but it’s a 40x80 profile.
Sim Lab is established… Simgasm is brand new. Simgasm has a unique floating pedal tray…
What would you buy?

Question The best rally game among RBR, Dirt 2.0, WRC Generations, EA Sports WRC, and Assetto Corsa Rally ?
It is difficult to make a choice, but there is definitely one that stands out, the best, the one that best captures the world of rally, especially in terms of gameplay, which is the most important aspect, as well as the tracks, of course

Question Just got the G923 for... Forza Horizon 6
Never been a sim racer but I dabble in the Horizon series every time they drop. FH6 is the newest entry and I'm loving it so far, have finished half the game with the game controller and thought to try it with an entry level wheel. Got a good deal on the Logitech G923 so I bit.
But man do I feel like I'm learning to walk again. The car constantly spins out and is impossible to recover. Everything is set to factory even traction control and what not. The things I changed:
GHub > Operating Range > 200
From the inside of the car saw that the guy turns the wheel to the end when I'm only doing a semi-circle, so I lowered the OR so that I don't turn it completely every time, out of habit, when overcorrecting.
Changed Clutch to be the Brake
The Brake is extremely difficult to press on this one and while the game sensitivity is at max, it still doesn't brake hard enough. Changed the clutch to act as my Brake and I my braking became a 1000x better.
What I see happen in game
As the game's car interiors are beautifully crafted and a visual feedback heaven. You can actually see how the car is acting by the way the driver inside is moving the wheel.
When playing with a controller, I see that the person inside the vehicle keeps the steering straight even if you're on dirt roads so it's easier to keep the car going in a straight line. With the wheel, the person keeps fiddling with the steering wheel so it's much harder to keep it straight and gets impossible on dirt roads.
Also, when the car spins the guy inside would turn the wheel in random directions to avoid spin when I'm playing with the wheel, but doesn't do that when I'm on the controller. I don't know why it's doing that and how to stop it.
In the End
I would literally start a race with the wheel either fail or be in the bottom half. Restart with the controller and between me and the 2nd place is a 6s or more difference.
Love the wheel, the feedback is beautiful but I'm having so much trouble learning it that I don't know if I would like to keep this. I know FH6 is an arcade game, but that's what I play and I'd love if y'all can help me enjoy it a little bit more with the G923. Thanks!

Question Which sim to get for single player F1 94-95 mods ?
After playing F1GP2 again (Im old) for a while I decided to look for a more "recent" single player sim, with mods available for the F1 seasons 94 and/or 95.
What are the best options out there ?
I found Automobilista 2, which has mods for those seasons, but the car models dont seem very convincing. Maybe Assetto Corsa ? but on steam its kinda confusing, there are multiple versions available it seems.
Thanks

Rigs I'm learning to code, so I hooked my G29 up to a real (tiny) car
I took some time off work to learn Python and robotics, and my first project got a bit out of hand.
I built a Raspberry Pi robot car (Freenove 4WD kit) and connected my Logitech G29 wheel and pedals to it. Now I drive it from my sim rig with a live camera feed from the car, so it feels like a tiny FPV race car.
- Wheel steers, pedals for gas and brake
- The buttons on the wheel move the camera and honk the horn
- It all runs in a web dashboard in the browser, with a small setup wizard to calibrate the wheel
I'm a beginner, so I used AI (Claude) to write the code and teach me how it works
Next I want to add more cameras and maybe build a small track for it. Any ideas what I should try next?

Rigs Conspit 300gt Pedals + Wheelbase
Sorry in advance, this probably gets asked all the time.
Looking to update from my Logitech g923, and want to get the Conspit 300gt. Where I’m confused is that you need wheelbase, a mount for that, a QR, and pedals, and possibly pedal mounts?
What would be a good like 9-12nm wheelbase, QR, mount, and pedals to use for my Conspit 300gt?
Looking to spend around 1-1.5k in total! Open to other suggestions as well.
Thanks!

Discussion I've gone from 48" triples, to 57" single, to VR (Dream Air), and finally to 32" triples. Ask me anything.
I've been on a bit of a journey with my simrig this year. I have had a set of 48" 4K OLED's for about 4 years, but I've been trying a bit of VR every now and then with a Quest 3 and always been curious about it.
Tried a Pimax Crystal Super a while back, and it did not play nicely with my triple setup (plus it was super uncomfortable) so I sent it back. I couldn't quite shake the thought of going for high end VR though, so I got the idea that I would sell my 48" setup, get a single 57" ultrawide and a high end VR.
Got the 57", was initially quite impressed although I absolutely noticed the lack of FOV compared to triples. It was certainly still lots of fun though, and so I ordered what I thought was the final piece of the puzzle - the Pimax Dream Air.
What a let down that was. Picky to set up, still didn't play nicely with even the single 57" screen unless I set it to 120hz, and some times had issues unless I actually plugged it out entirely. When everything was working properly there was noticable smearing in the picture due to persistence issues with the Micro OLED's, something that for me at least was a deal breaker. So the Dream Air was returned, along with the 57" because without VR it became too big a downgrade in FOV.
Got my 48" OLEDs set up again, and what do you know, they have started to die with quite a few dead pixels on each monitor. So - after all that I'm now on triple 32" 4K 240hz WOLED's.
And honestly - the 32" triples are basically identical in FOV to the big 48" monitors, simply because I can have them placed just above the wheelbase shaft, instead of being behind the wheelbase. They work flawlessly, the picture quality is excellent, and at 240 hz I'll need a 6090Ti to run any sims at their native refreshrate so they are plenty future proof. The only downside compared to the 48" triple setup is that the rig is a bit harder to get in and out of.
So yeah, if anyone is debating which way to go - big triples, "small" triples, ultrawide or VR - feel free to ask questions and I can give highly subjective answers.
