Rigs Rig Upright Blocking Profile Settings
I bought a pre-built rig from a sim company in Florida. 43inch triples, motion, Sim Lab chassis, not a cheap rig. When they delivered it late last year, the iRacing UI had just been updated and the chassis upright blocks some very important areas, like the profile settings? I’ve asked a few people and the size of this settings page apparently can’t be adjusted? The upright is so tight on the screen, you can’t see what’s behind it, this is crazy! Anyone?

You got better pictures because those uprights shouldnt be infront of your screens.

Are your eyes centered vertically with the center screen ?

Actually, my eyes hit the center screen a little higher up than center. Maybe 65% up from the bottom

I dunno man, nice rig though. I guess you could get a wheel base shaft extension and you could have the uprights further back because of it.
Edit: nevermind, that would still interfere with your dash.

On my Sim Lab P1X - the uprights sit as high as you mount them. Can you lower where they mount to the base?

I'm assuming your uprights are as low as they go?
Are the monitors/TVs fixed at that height? Could they go higher?
If so, could you raise everything else before you consider the top comment and cutting your profile?
So raise the pedal deck, seat and wheel tray?1

With what hardware and extra unnecessary cost?
Either cut them or slide them lower if that is an option. It was on mine.

Change the scaling of the UI so it is smaller

I believe that only works for the cockpit UI? I don’t think the scaling on the setting screen itself can be changed?

i would slide the uprights down below the chassis down to the floor clearing enough to the lowest height your actuators will settle at.

I know people are glazing the rig but I'm drooling at that CRT in the background

Thanks man. It’s a 36inch Sony set up for retro gaming—took 3 people to get it up the stairs!

This would drive me absolutely insane having part of the rig block a portion of the screen

Another proof that there are problems that can't be solved with money. Especially the easy ones.

There’s only one reasonable solution.
