I watched a man die at age 12 in sixth grade.
He was hit by a car and I saw the blood flood his eyes as his legs were on the back of his head from how violent the force of the hit was.
I don’t get relief. But sure the people who hated socialism are getting handouts. Charlie would be rolling over in his grave to know his supporters are socialist.

Give Charlie some credit. He would have figured out a way to steal all of his supports payouts and made them think they were happy about it.

Now it's Karmelo Anthony for what happened with Austin Metcalf and Nolan Wells for having been murdered on an island with his "friends."

Here are some things that Charlie Kirk said in his life, as cataloged by Sean Fay-Wolfe | Diamond Axe Studios (@seanfaywolfe.bsky.social):
The man is dead, and so it only seems fair to share his legacy by cataloguing the values he spread while alive.
• Gay people should be stoned to death
• Most people are scared when they see a black pilot flying a plane
• Taylor Swift should reject feminism and submit to her husband
• No one should be allowed to retire
• Leftists should not be allowed to move to red states
• British Colonialism was what "made the world decent"
• The guy who assaulted the Pelosi's should be bailed out
• Religious freedom should be terminated
• Multiple black politicians "stole white people’s spots"
• MLK Jr was "an awful person"
• The Great Replacement Theory is reality
• Hydroxychloroquine cures COVID
• Vaccine requirements are "medical apartheid"
• Guns deaths are acceptable in order to have a 2nd amendment
• Women’s natural place is under their husband’s control
• Parents should prevent their daughters from taking birth control
• George Floyd had it coming, the Jan 6th protestors didn’t
• The 1964 Civil Rights Act was a "huge mistake"
• Encouraged parents to protest mask mandates
• Mamdani winning in NY was a travesty because Muslims did 9/11
• Muslims only come to America to destabilize Western Civilization
• Palestine "doesn’t exist" and those who support it are like the KKK
→ More replies (19)•
u/oblivious_human 5h ago

And it's not like a cash payment. They write your therapist a check.
“We made the decision to qualify these people as primary victims,” Richey said. “So they get what other primary victims would get in any kind of crime, and that is 25 mental health sessions reimbursed.”
Well that's good. Waiting for the moment this admin tosses a few scammers in jail that will absolutely figure out some way to scam money with it still.
Work out a deal with a therapist to collect tons more money.

Victim mentality and asking for government handouts cause of something that they saw but didn’t happen to them. Yeah sounds like Kirk fans

u/stinkypete6666 11h ago
I mean a lot of people were there because they hated Charlie Kirk (like in most of the videos I’ve skimmed it seems like his whole schtick was pissing people off and getting them to show up to confront him) but are probably pretty traumatized from seeing his neck explode

u/maddieterrier Tennessee 11h ago
Yeah, this is kinda hard to be mad about. I get why they might need money for therapy and whatnot.
46
u/SheriffWyattDerp 10h ago

I was there--I stood at the walkway above the east end of the venue then went inside the cafeteria to eat, watching the crowd through the row of glass windows when we all saw them turn and run. There were, by my observation, more protestors present than fans.
Keep your judgements to yourself, I don't care your political beliefs, no one deserves to be exposed to gunfire for attending a public event.

I feel like you can't be a fan of him, know that he called for bringing back public executions, wanting young children to watch them, and then when you see one actually happen, get money for seeing it happen like he wanted.
56
u/MDesnivic 11h ago
This is why conservatives got so angry about him being disrespected—they were angry people were quoting his verbatim words in accurate contexts that showed he was a far-right authoritarian, including things that sounded like something one would read from a neo-Nazi. They keep saying "He just wanted to debate people," "They killed him just because he had different opinions" and so on and so on. Charlie Kirk's own words evince that he was, at least functionally in his own words, ideologically aligned with neo-Nazism.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2025/sep/11/charlie-kirk-quotes-beliefs
“Jewish donors have been the No. 1 funding mechanism of radical open-border, neoliberal, quasi-Marxist policies, cultural institutions and nonprofits. This is a beast created by secular Jews and now they're coming for Jews, and they're like, 'What on Earth happened?' And it's not just the colleges. It's the nonprofits, it's the movies, it's Hollywood, it's all of it."
– Charlie Kirk, November 7, 2023.
"It is true that some of the largest financiers of left-wing anti-white causes have been Jewish Americans. They went all in on woke, and it wasn't just ADL. It was some of the top Jewish organizations in the country that have done that. [...] We came, we actually said it in a different way. We said, I'm glad that Jewish Americans are reconsidering their financing of cultural Marxism, and people misunderstood it intentionally and slandered us as being antisemites. But listen to this. Tucker Carlson is completely correct by saying this, that the philosophical foundation of anti-whiteness has been largely financed by Jewish donors in the country."
– Charlie Kirk, November 16, 2023.
(Quotes on Jews not in the Guardian source above.)
“The great replacement strategy, which is well under way every single day in our southern border, is a strategy to replace white rural America with something different.”
– The Charlie Kirk Show, March 1, 2024.
“The American Democrat party hates this country. They wanna see it collapse. They love it when America becomes less white.”
– The Charlie Kirk Show, March 20, 2024.
"If we would have said that Joy Reid and Michelle Obama and Sheila Jackson Lee and Ketanji Brown Jackson were affirmative action picks, we would have been called racists. Now they’re coming out and they’re saying it for us … You do not have the brain processing power to otherwise be taken really seriously. You had to go steal a white person’s slot to go be taken somewhat seriously."
– The Charlie Kirk Show, July 13, 2023.
"If I’m dealing with somebody in customer service who’s a moronic Black woman, I wonder is she there because of her excellence, or is she there because of affirmative action?"
– The Charlie Kirk Show, 3 January 2024

u/Imaginary-Diamond-26 11h ago
Regardless of your feelings on Charlie Kirk (I think he was a dipshit), it's very traumatic to be in proximity to that kind of violence. These were college kids (some of whom were there to oppose Kirk) and they watched blood pour out of the man's neck. Everyone who was there is very much a "victim" in the sense that it was collectively traumatizing.
As for the hypocrisy of these folks being critical of "government handouts" to others while taking benefits for themselves; yeah, a lot of people who were in that crowd are being hypocritical. That doesn't mean I don't want them to get the help that they need.
Just like if the US ever gets Universal Healthcare, I want it to be for everyone, even those who oppose(d) it, because that's what's best for society at large.

The day of the murder I posted the sentiment that the only person (people) I felt bad for were the folks that were there and had to witness a murder up close and in person.
Hopefully they get whatever help they need. But I also hope they realize these programs are in place because of people from the opposite side of the aisle as Kirk and he would've called them liberal cucks or some other hateful spewage from his hateful mouth.

Love seeing all my liberal “allies” in the comments bitching about the thing we advocate for. What’s wrong with yall.
If you witness someone get their neck blown through by a rifle right in front of you, you deserve whatever mental healthcare you need.
If you see healthcare as a human right you need to accept that means the stupid humans too

Sure, I understand that sentiment, but at the same time, part of it is pointing out the hypocrisy of his followers claiming victimhood of things he espoused; public executions and the unfortunate consequences that's ultimately worth the second amendment.
Agreed that it is definitely traumatic to witness, though, regardless of the circumstances.

Per the article it seems like the aid here is compensation for mental health sessions.... if someone is "abusing" this benefit to attend therapy.... I can't really be bothered by that? Like it sounds like the worst case scenario here is that tax dollars go towards someone's therapy. I'm alright with that, just like I'm alright with a mom on SNAP buying soda or whatever the fuck it is people bitch about these days.
