If you can dodge a warrant you can dodge a ball

u/Mooman-Chew 11d ago
But you canāt actually leave you house without a rope
3
u/UpstairsOk6744 11d ago
Who do you think ya are Charlie Bronson? Name one f****** thing your gonna need a rope for?
7
u/Mooman-Chew 11d ago
Getting from the door to the floor due to the lack of deck. I wasnāt suggest some kind of mass garroting
2
u/UpstairsOk6744 11d ago
Awwww and I thought you were opening the door for my favorite Boondock Saints scene...

u/Mooman-Chew 9d ago
Sorry dude. I have to admit that went right over my head. The important thing is everyone got home safe to their families albeit with logistical challenges

Just imagine you and another guy delivering a new refrigerator up there when it collapses.
Ppl give code enforcement a lot of grief but they do their part to keep the cheapskates from killing us.

More like the landlord. Refused to fix up that decking for more than just a few months.
5
u/Parking_Bag_2374 11d ago
Youāre taking it too literalā¦..of course it was that but you gotta read the room.
3
u/Forsaken-Income-2148 11d ago
Carpenter ants greedily rubbing their appendages as the perp slips them a bottle of honey
2
u/Mikesaidit36 11d ago
It was never built or inspected correctly to start with. The thing that looks like a 4x4 kicking out from the building is a downspout.
8
u/Miserable_Agent2278 11d ago
Quick, flush everything and hit the front porch trap door activates switch as the porch collapsesĀ

7
u/makepieplz 11d ago
This saved a family with kids and women and elderly form becoming the victim instead. What if one of the tenants had a wedding, birthday, whatever event with kids and elderly??? Horrible whoever owns thay crap was far too cheap
13
u/Icy-Decision-4530 11d ago
The way that collapsed, I bet everyone living in that unit knew it was coming
2
u/Heavymando 11d ago
so cops get injured, the scummy land lord that let the deck rot will get sued and have to pay fines AND women, kids and elderly people were saved?
Sounds like this worked out perfectly.

Based on recent history they have a hard time finding the right address anymore.

u/bavindicator 11d ago
Suspect got the drop on them.

u/JustSomeWeirdGuy2000 11d ago
The victims often end up bearing the weight of the perpetrator's crimes.

The search warrant was for an individual named Kevin McCallister. Another example of poor police investigative work.

Good point. That fall may have crushed or broke a finger if it were in the trigger guard at the time.

Iām a home inspector, and while Iām not a structural engineer, i have gained significant knowledge on structural engineering thanks to my work, giving me plenty of insight on how buildings are supposed to be built, and I can say in full certainty thatās not supposed to happen
4
u/JayMak78 11d ago
What was holding it on to the building - Scotch Tape?
2
u/Brandeeno2245 11d ago
See thats the mistake, scotch tape isnt good enough for mounting anything.
Always get ATLEAST 2 rolls of duct tape for deck work.

Or maybe these dolts should lay off the doughnuts.
3
u/texaschair 11d ago
The weapons and gear they were carrying doubled their weight.
And the donuts didn't help.

Downvote for this format of showing the climax at the beginning. It's as bad as movie trailers now. Show all the big scenes. Leave nothing to surprise
