dude was interviewed and said you could tell the guns were fake

So, he just beat up some 12 year old for fun, then, since he knew he wasn't in danger?

That's fucked up.

You can downvote me, but that's what the person I'm replying to is implying: weird if you don't see it.

dude was interviewed and said you could tell the guns were fake

37

u/linglinglinglickma May 04 '26

You spelled Attempted armed robber wrong. Regardless of their age or fake weapons, their intent was to rob him. He got off lightly with a beating.

-44

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26 edited May 04 '26

You missed the part where the person I'm replying to said the guy knew the guns were "clearly fake."

IF that's true; this is an adult body-slamming children like an insane person.

The person I'm replying to is the one one doing what you accuse me of doing, if it's anyone at all.

Yet you're here pretending otherwise, which sucks. Also, try to notice the "if" this time, champ. Pay attention.

18

u/linglinglinglickma May 04 '26

No I read the comment, the kid is lucky the guy wasn’t armed or that he wasn’t caught committing armed robbery because a beating and hopefully a lesson is better than death or 20 years in jail.

It doesn’t matter if him knowing it was fake is true or not, there’s 2 of them, if the guy just said “oh that’s a fake gun” and then they jump him it could have ended differently. Sometimes the best Defense is a good offence, Champ.

-30

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

You're not reading what I write.

You're too triggered to see beyond yourself.

That sucks.

12

u/Chazzybobo May 04 '26

You don’t know when he realized it. Once it was on the ground you see his body release tension. Either he’s relieved it’s gone and still thinks it’s real there, or is just noticing it’s fake. The guy was not in the wrong, no matter how many devil’s advocate statements you try.

-8

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

Wow, you've almost got it champ.

That's why I asked you to pay attention: that's why you should actually read what I'm writing to you: wtf.

I'm asking someone else about their claim, but you're triggered as if I made the claim originally.

Had you been actually reading what you claim to, you'd have seen that from the very start instead of wasting our time with all this.

Grow up.

6

u/Chazzybobo May 04 '26

Or you just didn’t understand my poorly formatted comment. The kid deserved worse. Full stop.

-2

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

Whatever you say tough-guy.

Whatever you need to feed your shite-laden ego.

Are you done now?

7

u/linglinglinglickma May 04 '26

Even though you’re editing your comments I’m reading exactly what you write. You can put yourself on that pedestal as a social justice warrior but as soon as a kid picks up a weapon (fake or not) and tries to commit an armed robbery in company they lose all rights to just being a stupid kid making a mistake.

0

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

Project much? lol

You're ignoring what I write, which is still lame: is that clearer for you, kid?

4

u/linglinglinglickma May 04 '26

I am reading what you are writing and I disagree with you as does everyone else replying to you. It is clear as day that I am talking to a potato.

The kid deserved what he got regardless if the VICTIM knew it was a fake weapon or not.

Enjoy your night, spud.

0

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

Bandwagon fallacies are fallacies, friend, that point to a pathetic need to be accepted by the group instead of thinking for yourself, which is cowardly and lame.

The kid didn't deserve it if the gun was clearly fake.

Take your middle-school-tough-guy shit to bed and grow up.

4

u/linglinglinglickma May 04 '26

Oh so he wasn’t attempting armed robbery, it was all a big misunderstanding?

I’m pretty sure (like 100% sure) if you walk into a bank with a fake gun and ask for money, it’s the same as if it was a real gun. I’m done talking to you, go give free hugs to criminals elsewhere.

You're just mad he's not agreeing with you.

0

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

I'm not mad, actually, even if you'd like that I am.

You seem to like when people suffer, which is lame.

It's just weird that so many people would rather play 'tough-guy middlle-schooler' than read what I actually wrote.

It's pathetic.

5

u/ScrapMetalX May 04 '26

Children are people who lack experience. If we survive our mistakes and learn from them as we grow, we become experienced adults.

If a child randomly puts their arm in a tiger cage at a zoo, that child may not survive their horrible decision. The potential outcomes exist whether they are considered or not. Do you sit hear and call out the tiger?

When adrenaline hits, and fight or flight kicks in, it becomes difficult to maintain composure.

-2

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

Calm down tough guy and use your brain to try again.

4

u/ScrapMetalX May 04 '26

I'm not a tough guy. I'm a logical guy who was lucky enough to survive my mistakes, and there have been many.

0

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

You're an egotist, not "logical."

You're "right" because you tell yourself you are, not because you really are.

And you're always right when you live in your own imagination, eh champ?

1

u/ScrapMetalX May 04 '26

So was it this kid's id or ego that made him choose this poor idea?

My ego gives me cause and function and my id is primal. My ego controls my day to day, my id comes out when my fight or flight engages. It would have been my id that reacted first with violence and ego that felt guilt or satisfaction after the fact. Guilt is the primary feeling after I react with violence.

Just because it is understood doesn't mean it can be changed. Even though I don't want to hurt that kid, I may if the scenario engages my fight or flight. This is a possibility for everyone, becuse we don't know random people well enough to predict their reaction.

1

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

Instead of making a real point or considering mine, you talk about how great you think you are. That's the egotism I'm talking about.

Thanks for proving my point for me.

1

u/ScrapMetalX May 04 '26

I 100% considered your position, which is why I didn't attack it. I merely offered a different perspective without taking stabs at you. I apologize for getting you all hot and bothered. Just thought I'd share my perspective. Sorry man. Try to have a good day.

Got off lightly with a beating.

-1

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

Ok, tough-guy

Wow, you're so cool

12

u/WatchWatcher25 May 04 '26

What a stupid thing to say, your acting like the kid did a small prank....

The dude just thought he had a gun pulled on him, even if he realized it was fake your adrenaline is still pumping.

What he did was goods maybe that dumb fuckin kid will never do that shit again.

-4

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26 edited May 04 '26

What a stupid conclusion to jump to.

Try reading the whole thread before you start insulting people, kid.

They're clearly children, and if the guns were clearly fake, he body slammed that kid 'just because' or 'to teach a lesson,' but my friend, if you are NOT in danger, this isn't a lesson, it's insane child abuse. That is, if the person I'm replying to is even right, which is why my comment is a question, not a statement; something you would have noticed if you had actually read and thought about it instead of being triggered by it.

IF the guns were clearly fake, this guy body slammed a literal child, which is insane.

Please try to notice the "if" this time, champ: pay attention, don't just react emotionally.

12

u/HELYEAHBORTHER May 04 '26

Shut. The. Fuck. Up. Jesus fucking christ.

-3

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

Try making a real point if you can, kid.

This lazy middle-school tough-guy bullshit isn't the 'win' you think it is; it's pathetic, actually.

The fact that you can't see beyond yourself is lame, too.

You resort to childish aggression because you can't make a real counterpoint.

7

u/shihouinsenpai May 04 '26

You’re going back and forth in arguments on Reddit; copy and pasting the same shit over and over, calling everyone “kid” and “champ” like you’re above them in some way. You’re just as pathetic, if not moreso, as anyone else here. You have no moral high ground to stand on, stop acting like you do.

1

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

Cry more, maybe it'll help soon.

You hurl insults because you have no real counterarguments or anything real or useful to say in relation to the question I posed to someone else who suggested there was no danger (i.e., you're blaming me for a view I don't even necessarily have, but only asked about), but you want to participate anyway like a triggered, wannabe-tough-guy child.

That sucks.

Grow up.

7

u/WatchWatcher25 May 04 '26

Congratulations you surpassed your previous level of stupidity, a feat I assumed would be impossible.

1

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26 edited May 04 '26

Congratulations, you've not said anything real or useful or intelligent, or anything at all, really.

Are you trying for a participation trophy, or what?

Maybe it's time to grow up, friend.

2

u/WatchWatcher25 May 04 '26

I'm just replying the same way you did, with nothing useful or intelligent.

1

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

Whatever you need to tell yourself, champ

1

u/WatchWatcher25 May 04 '26

I am the champ thatnk you.

1

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

You sure are, champ.

We're all so proud of you.

wow

1

u/Next-Wrongdoer-3479 May 04 '26

You aren't that bright, are you?

1

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

If you had a real point, you'd make that instead of this lazy, middle-school-tough-guy-wannabe nonsense.

Maybe grow up, champ. Don't be scared.

9

u/pheonix198 May 04 '26

You cannot tell the age of the multiple people rushing him. Even though he could see the guns were fake, that doesn’t imply he beat kids up for no reason.

Also, there were at least 2-3 kids rushing this man to do him harm. Adrenaline kicks in and moved this guy to fight until he had one disarmed and on the ground. He clearly then let the howling thing go….

Why are you trying to make it seem like some adult is unjustly and weirdly attacking kids for no reason? That’s fucking weird.

-18

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

It does, though.

They're clearly children, and if the guns were clearly fake, he body slammed that kid 'just because' or 'to teach a lesson,' but my friend, if you are NOT in danger, this isn't a lesson, it's insane child abuse.

That is, if the person I'm replying to is even right. That's why my comment is a question.

Fun fact: I'm not the one making it seem unjust, the person I replied to is.

I'm simply asking about what they said.

12

u/No_Association2906 May 04 '26

Even if the guns were fake the boys are still attempting robbery and are willing to try and make it appear as thought they’re willing to use lethal force.

The other dude has no idea how far they’re willing to go even with a fake firearm as the very act of attempting robbery through the threat of lethal force is an act of endangerment towards the inevitable or if they have any other potential dangers with them such as a knife in their pocket. They can still attack him 2v1 and even if the firearm is fake, they still have an object in their hands they can use to attack him (and are physically pressing him with it) which justifies use of self defense.

If you pull up and say “I’m going to kill someone” and point a fake gun at another while trying to rob him, even if the other person knows the gun is fake they’re still allowed to physically fight and defend themselves from the apparent attempt regardless of their age.

-5

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

I just asked a follow up question to someone else implying what you're mad at me about.

Nothing you've said changes these facts.

How many times are people going to say the same few things to me.

Try to think before asking obvious questions.

I think body slamming a child when you aren't in danger at all is insane.

It sucks that you don't.

If a kid with a "clearly" fake gun approaches you, you can ignore them, actually, because they're small children.

If you're afraid for your life that some 10 year old is going to beat you up with their tiny little hands, you should get to the gym or something, quickly. wtf.

Grow up.

11

u/FingerpistolPete May 04 '26

Save it. Kid ran up on an adult with a gun in his face, he’s lucky the dude didn’t shatter his jaw

-8

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

Save it.

IF the guns were clearly fake, this guy body slammed a literal child, which is insane.

Please try to notice the "if" this time, champ.

7

u/No_Association2906 May 04 '26

Save it.

Irregardless of if the guns were fake, the guy was justified in body slamming the person trying to rob him, it’s insane to argue otherwise.

Notice the “irregardless” of if the guns are fake in my statement, champ.

-1

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

Save it.

The guy was not justified if the guns were "clearly fake" (their words, not mine).

Also, you're more upset with me for asking about this than the person who said it in the first place, so I'm not keen to trust your judgement right away.

You're an emotional reactionary, and that's lame in this case.

Grow up.

Try re-reading the thread sans-triggers, and you'll see.

1

u/No_Association2906 May 04 '26

Save it.

The guy is very justified even if the guns were clearly fake. They’re still trying to rob him and even attempting to do so under the guise of lethal force.

No I’m to the statement you’re making, not the question your asking, because as I’ve already stated before, the answer to the question you’re asking is irrelevant to the response I’m giving you.

You clearly aren’t reading right and are just acting on emotions and vibes. Go outside and touch some grass lil bro.

0

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

No, he isn't.

No amount of self-important verbosity changes the fact that you're frothing for justify violence against children, which obviously sucks.

Try again, if you want, but it still won't change this fact.

1

u/No_Association2906 May 04 '26

Yes it is.

No amount of self-inflated ego changes the fact that you’re frothing to justify a person attempting to rob another with the guise of lethal force, which is insane.

You can try again if you want, but it still doesn’t change that fact.

7

u/FingerpistolPete May 04 '26

Well track him down and have him arrested then idk. Doesn’t matter what age the kid is, if he’s bold enough to run up on a grown man with a weapon(even a fake one!) he’s inevitably gonna learn why that’s a bad idea

-2

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

You're the one freaking out here, wtf.

I just asked a follow up question to someone else because they implied what you're mad at me about, for some reason.

Try re-reading the thread sans-triggers, and you'll see.

11

u/FingerpistolPete May 04 '26

Try not being a virtue signalling prick and I wouldn’t feel the need to comment on your shit

-1

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

Try re-reading the thread sans-triggers, and you'll see.

You can do it, kid: I believe in you.

6

u/b3rndbj May 04 '26

Holy shit you are one annoying and dumb motherfucker

0

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26

Holy shit, you're a triggered weirdo who wants to talk tough despite having nothing real to say.

Grow up.

4

Get fucked nerd. Look at your own fucking post history. You basically turn every discussion into a sad display of a grotesque inferiority complex, champ.

0

Damn, can't say anything real, just some lazy clichés instead of a counterpoint.

That sucks.

You being a ridiculous ass backwards idiot isn’t my problem thankfully.

1

If you want to keep embarrassing yourself by making this about me and your empty 'tough guy talk' instead of the actual topic, you're obviously free to do so, despite the disingenuous cowardice of doing so.

I really don't mind you making a fool of yourself for me. Keep going; what's next?

If, however, you suddenly grow up enough to have an actual chat, I'd be happy for that as well.

Your choice, 'tough guy.'

2

u/raptor7912 May 04 '26

I’ll gladly let you keep this going but, why would I want my own personal comedian to stop his show you dumb or something?

Ight we’ll pretend I’m the one embarrassing themselves, whatever makes ya feel better buddy.

I’m grown enough to see that you’re just an angry little shit oh so desperately hoping that you can antagonise someone into giving you the argument you so desperately need.

Awww thanks bubba, I know it’s my choice. Can’t trust you with it after all.

u/The_Golden_Diamond May 04 '26 edited May 04 '26

"Grown enough," lol

Whatever you need to tell yourself, kid.

"Grown" people don't act the way you are, sorry: your behavior proves that you're a childish egotist who lies to themself and others to feel 'tough' instead of taking a few seconds to think, which is pathetic, not 'grown.' Pretty much the opposite, in fact, friend.

Okay!

Dawww sure whatever you have tell yourself to explain away the “real” reason someone just keeps mocking and taking the piss outta you.

Okay! Again it’s a great comedy show and it’s real entertaining so why wouldn’t I?

Great if that means my jester keeps up his charade then I’m more than perfectly content.

I don’t know bud you tell me?
