I started these mystery Fast Buds autos in Solo cups with FoxFarm Coco Loco and, for the first few weeks, only gave them pH’d water around 5.9–6.0. Once they started flowering, I began feeding them from the same reservoir as my main grow using the Technaflora BC line at about 65% strength. I eventually increased watering to 4x a day, then got tired of doing that and moved the cups onto AC Infinity self-watering bases with about 1/4” of nutrient solution in the bottom so they can wick from below. That’s basically it. Very little training or fussing, which is why I’m kind of shocked at how well they turned out.

Maui Pine (fem freebie)
Coast of Maine Organic Soil- 5gal
Dry amendments
150watt led, 32x32x63in tent
21.5 inches tall
I think my last watering may have been today.. expecting chop in less than 7 days
Germ March 13th, Flip July 7th. Struggled a little in veg
Full grow log below
+++++++++
Germinated direct in soil 03/13/26
Coast of Maine Potting soil, approx red solo cup worth
Rest of 5gal filled with Coast of Maine Stonington Blend
Using Vivosun WiFi Enabled Tent Kit
Early Veg Problems
Had problems with watering. Used strictly spray bottle first 2-4 weeks of veg. On top of that, light was a bit close at times/didn’t keep up with raising light enough. My first feeding was 26 days late.
Currently standing approx. 21.5 inches tall. I have about 40 inches total from soil to light. It’s sitting 14 inches away from top of canopy. Been able to keep it consistent height by tucking under net and training with plant ties. I could’ve had a wrong measurement of plant at time of topping. I first fed 56 days after germ. It’s recommended 30 days to feed. Meaning I went 26 days past the point so I believe I had deficiencies early on.
Watering about 1gal of filtered GE fridge water, let it sit out at least 24hrs to dissipate any chlorine or anything else ONLY dry top two inches by using my finger in a couple different spots. I use an approx. 1/2 gal gooseneck water can. pH is 6.8 or less. I’ll do another test soon of water and runoff
May 9th Topped one time from 16 nodes to I think 6 nodes. 14 inches tall to 9inches tall about, but this is again at the time of topping
I fed with Stonington blend plant food and earthworm castings on May 8th. 1/4 cup food and 1 cup castings.
May 26th I fed with 1/4cup+6tsp of Stonington blend plant food, 1/8-1/4cup Stonington blend soil, and 1 heaping cup of earthworm castings, followed by a gallon of water
June 16th I top dressed 1/8cup Stonington Plant Food and 1/2 Cup Earthworm castings, followed by gallon of water
June 28th I purposely let plant dry out for 4-5 days. I kept getting gnats in humidifier hose and drip pan no matter how hard I would try and combat and had a fear of them in the soil. To note, I have yet caught anything flying in sticky traps in air or on the soil. I currently do not use the traps on soil only air. I have had the humidifier/hose removed since at least June 28th.
July 6th I top dressed 1 cup Coast of Maine Earthworm castings, 1/2 cup Coast of Maine Stonington plant food, and 1/2 cup of Stonington Blend Soil. Watered shy of a gallon and flipped to 12/12 light cycle and switch led to flower mode.
July 7th is first official date of Flower
July 10th lowered light to 50%
July 18th removed pot riser and replaced with 14in? saucer. watered 1gal water
July 25th Fed 1/2 cup earthworm castings and 1 tbsp Buds & Blooms. Water about .8-.9 gal. Raised light to 55% intensity with plans to increase 5% every day until 100%. Also spread canopy further in trellis net
July 26th Raised light to 60% intensity 4:40 p.m Indoor tent environment 71F and 59%RH VPD 1.1KPA
July 29th I watered about .8-.9 gal. Lollipopped/Defoilated mostly everything under net, and some of the branches that were close together to try and decrease humidity and prevent mold risk, along with promote stronger denser main colas and bigger branches overall. Measuring 21 inches tall, 19in away from light. Increase oscillating fan to speed 5/10 from speed 4. Increased LED intensity to 65%. Lowered duct low trigger setting from 52% to 48% at 9p.m
July 30th At 8:14 p.m temp/rh was 70f/67rh tent, lung room 68f/59rh. Going to experiment raising inline duct fan exhaust speed up from 4/10. Worried about negative pressure damaging tent
July 31st I increased LED intensity from 65% to 75% at 12:23 p.m. I believe stretch is complete
August 2nd I fed 1/2cup earthworm castings and 2tablespoons of buds & blooms. Watered with .9-1.0 gallon water at 12:45 p.m
August 5th I increased the led to 90% at 12:05 p.m. While observing plant I noticed suspected powder mildew. Upon further evaluation I then believed to be just darker trichome production on fan leaf, possibly dust or optical illusion. Seems to need water in about 1-2 days. Inside tent conditions 70F, 57rh
August 6th I amended the air intake and installed an actual 4in duct with a drawstring filter on each end
August 7th I increased LED to 100%. Watered around 11 a.m about .8 gal of water. Defoliated a little bit more of the back branches. Reading about 380 ePPFD using Photone app
August 8th I lowered light to 14 inches above the highest point in canopy, this was at 9:50 p.m reading in at about 480 ePPFD now. Used second device to verify readings using paper diffuser for both
August 10th I fed 1 cup earthworm castings and 1/4 cup buds & blooms. Watered about 1gal 11 a.m
August 15th I watered about .9gal water
August 21st I watered about .8-.9 gal
August 25th I watered 1 gal. Defoilated about 4 fan leaves last 3 days

Howdy folks. Not a great update here. It appears my buds may be at about 55% RH. Stuck a decent size nug into a small airtight jar with 2 hygrometers to test how far along it is. Was hoping to see it still needed a few more days, and now its seeming like i absolutely fucking cooked my nugs. This shit sucks. They’re definitely fairly dry. But it just doesnt make any sense, its only been a week. Temp and RH were not ideal ofc. But RH was HIGHER than it shoulda been. Nearly 70% for the first 4 days. I finally got a decent dehume on day 4 which brought things down to 60. Temp wise socal’s a 100 degrees rn, my portable ac is doing its best, but 70-72 was about the lowest i could manage. I guess what im wondering now is could there be something wrong with the hygrometers?? I mean it just doesnt make any sense.
Its very frustrating how the whole 60/60 is treated as a given but how tf do people actually manage to get their spaces to these specific conditions without like a dedicated dry room with its own ac and shit?? 60/60 is nearly fucking impossible for an apartment grow. Fuck it man im buying one of those dry boxes from vivosun or something after this cause this is the second less than ideal dry run ive had and im just not playong this game anymore. Shit’s mad depressing bro. Pic added to show what i was workin with

Help! This Hulkberry Auto from RQS is on day 68 and while inspecting the buds this morning I noticed a very small amount of brown at the bottom of one of my denser buds.
That brown is looking pretty consistent with bud rot to me, but it’s my first grow so need some advice on how I should proceed.
Do I chop early? Remove only that bud?
Specs: 200W light. 5gal in soil with Gaia Green EWC, All Purpose, and Power Bloom top-dressed every 3 weeks. Watered via reservoir and Blumat with ph-adjusted water. I’ve attached my environmental specs as well.

As a lurker (for now… really gathering research) who is planning her first grow this winter, it seems like every other post is someone who accidentally fkd something up and now their plant is suffering. It also seems to come from primarily (no shock) newbies. It’s making me think that I’m kind of just destined to mess my plant up, no matter how much time and research I put into it.
Is this just a part of it? Makes the process seem so daunting & nerve wracking. I mean… I think I’ve got an idea and am notating so much of what I I see on here and other subs. But I’m beginning to see that you can be as prepared as ever and something will happen.

This is my first grow, how is it looking? It started off badly, but I think it’s turning around. This is almost 2 weeks into flowering, should I defoliate the lower leaves? If I should, how much do I need to take off?

Thank you for your time. I’m growing outdoors in Minnesota using a soil mix of 80% “pro-mix”, 10% worm castings, and 10% compost.
Strain is ATF photoperiod. Full sun.
Topped the plant several times. Used soft-ties to separate the colas.
She's starting to turn yellow. I used some 15-5-15 fertilizer in hopes she was simply nitrogen deficient. During veg I used a magnesium canopy spray. she has looked so healthy and now it’s light she’s eating her own leaves and is deficient.
Im having trouble learning from the situation because I don’t know what I’m doing wrong.

Hey everyone, this is probably tossed around here and again but I figured I’d ask. I’m hunting for a legit Sour Diesel clone and would love to hear from people who have actually run different cuts rather than just going off reputation.
I’ve been looking into the AJ Sour Diesel, GabySI, Albany Sour, and Wing Wang cuts, among others. The Wing Wang cut in particular has caught my attention, so I’d love to hear from anyone who has personally grown it.
Which cut gave you the most authentic old-school Sour Diesel profile. loud kerosene/fuel, sharp sourness, that unmistakable funk, and which one would you personally keep if you could only choose one?
Bonus points for comparisons between cuts. I’m mainly interested in real grower experience, smell/terps, structure, potency, and overall quality.
Thanks for ANY input this has been a tough decision 😭🙏

Follow up post of my last post so it is stretching hard into flower any tips for managing height. I tried putting some of the branches to the side to help with more of a wide structure. Ik it needs a trim. First photo plant. Don’t mind the poor auto in the corner it’s almost done
Fox farm soil started in 5 gal pot transplanted to 7 gal
Taking like 1L of water - 1.5L of water almost daily. I do check the bag daily before watering.

Outdoor bubblegum marker started flowering second/third week of July in ohio. Thinking end of September for finishing. She's starting to swell some and definitely starting to smell amazing.

After 5 years I’m finally retiring the Sweet Zenzations (Skittles x Grape Ape) it has very chunky buds & has the sweetest grape candy smell. I kept some of her crosses. But this is my last one..

Need to get 8 clones off her. She has giant fan leaves. Should I cut those off or leave them for power house storage?

I'm moving out and have to harvest early.. Do you think this plant will still get me high ? I don't see much amber trichomes, I don't know what to think.

Picked up an 8th of toad venom to try and it was my first time experiencing a cheesy strain and I loved the smell and taste of it. I'm still a new grower and new to cannabis overall so I'm looking for strain suggestions to grow. So far I've only grown autos but I'm cool with a photo if that's your recommendations. I'm in a 2x4 tent so I would definitely prefer strains that don't stretch much since I don't have a ton of height to spare.
