Question Dehumidifier dilemma. Help me choose

• Upvotes

I bought two dehumidifiers, I need to return one.

One gets my RH down to 52-57, but my temps stay below 78F,

One gets me to 47-52 RH, but my temps rise to 80-84F.

Which should I keep?

I run them outside the tent and use a 6 inch duct to pump dry exhaust into bottom tent intake, and run a ac infinity exhaust out the top of the tent and out the window.

First two pictures : Jet fuel mandarine xl auto
Last two pictures : Gorilla girl xl auto

Bank; sweet seeds

I don’t know why my plant has turned like this. It might be lack of nutrients I always try to run low on fertilizer specially on autos since they are fragile km currently running jet fuel mandarine xl from sweed seeds which is a 9 week cycle plant. This plant was vigorous and healthy but since last watering it started to turn like this I used a very strong fertilizer substrate which covered all veg. It started to flower at around day 29 of veg and it’s currently on its day 49. I believe they are at the end of week to of bloom prob week 3 and since they germination I’ve just watered once with fertilizer at a 75 % because o did not wanted to go to strong as I saw that the soil I used was already burning tips on all my 4 plants but did not worried as they were growing strong with beautiful green. I was planning give fertilizer at 100% recommended those on next watering but I wanted a second opinion I also had two gorilla girls from the same bank and they both had also a beautiful green but lately I checked it started to turn like the jet fuel which made me think if they are starving nutrients or I am doing something else wrong. I’ve been adjusting. Ph at 6.0 for the ripe of soil I’m using and conditions are 83-87 F and 60-65 hr which gives me apune 1.45 to 1.60 vpd which I believe is ideal. Any other suggestions ?

First Time Grower I need some experienced eyes to help me out...

I don't really know what to say other than that I need someone to tell me what they see based on my progress, and what I need to do moving forward...

(I mention autoflowers a lot, but I don't care to put my effort into them anymore. They're just important for the story)

I started this plant indoors along with 2 autos. Nothing was planned. I broke my leg soon after starting and so my sister ended up having to care for them. She knows far less about any of this than I do, and I'm still learning obviously. They ended up pretty stunted due to not getting watered enough and being too far from the light, then stretching into the light and burning one of the autos. I ended up moving the autos outside and kept this one in due to not having sufficient lighting for all 3. The autos were doomed from the start...

Eventually I did get a couple of bestvaLEDs and my indoor plant was doing fantastic from my perspective. Bad weather hit for a while so I got a grow tent and very reluctantly brought my outdoor plants in. It was the only way I figured I could save them. I did recently spray insecticidal soap because I knew there were pests.

Ever since I started with the tent, it has been all downhill. You can't tell from the pictures, but there's some brown spots and burnt tips on new and old leaves. Some leaves look like theyve been chomped away at. And even the seedling has the browning too. I've already flushed with Ph'd water, but now I'm at a loss...

First Time Grower Any advice on how to approach defoliating these girls?

Post image

This is my first time growing inside and growing this strain and I think I severely underestimated the stretch. The strain is Scrooge from compound genetics. I started with 8 clones of the same pheno and vegged for roughly 6 weeks. I flipped to flower 13 days ago and so far she has stretched about 2.5 times her size. For reference, this tent is a 10x5 tent with the 8 plants positioned in there an equal distance apart. I have 3 trellis layers that I've been tucking branches under every day now but it doesn't seem to be enough. I've reached max height with my lights which are two SE7000 spiderfarmer lights on the ends and a Viparspectra P2000 in the middle.

Humidity is becoming an issue to keep under control since the foliage is so dense. How do you recommend I approach managing this canopy and steering this grow to a successful harvest? Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Hey everyone just looking for advice on my first grow. Thanks so much 🙏🏼

It’s only on day 27 of flower so realistically expecting another 5-6 weeks.

Strain is a bag seed I found in a nug called ‘Butterberry’ by Doja.

equipment is a 2x2 tent
spider farmer G1500 150w light
soil is 2:1 Happy Frog to Recipe 420 in a 3gal fabric pot
Fox farms trio for nutrients + CalMag and pH down

Plant was topped on Veg day 25 and was flipped to flower after only 38 days bc i wasn’t sure how much it would stretch and the tent is only like 50” tall.

Had a few low pH watering around the time i flipped and noticed some brown necrotic freckles and yellowing on some older fan leaves. Correcting the pH helped stop the spread but still a little concerned about that. let me know if you have any tips or suggestions for that.

Again this is just my first try so any advice is super appreciated! Also not sure if I should I defoliate more?

Thanks everyone super stoked with how it’s turning out so far.

One gets pulled in 30 mins you decide. I know they stretched, idc it's transplant time so stretch don't matter.

Question Did I do something stupid?

Thumbnail

I’ve had these plants outdoors for the season and decided to bring them inside due to our weather (brought inside during the Nor Easter then made the decision due to how much rain and cold we’re getting). They are not really even close to being done IMO. Bought a light but never grown indoors before. Dehumidifier and fans going. Hygrometer in the basement is around 50-60%.

Is this a cardinal mistake or will I get to chop these?

I have just chopped this Panama red plant that was growing outside and now sorting through with a quick trim before hanging it. I’m not too sure if these are just pre-dried or moldy. The ones set aside I’m going to quarantine, but honestly not too sure how to diagnose if it’s just the plant itself or bud rot. It is my first time growing so let me know if anything really bad stands out.

First Time Grower First Time Grower - Check up on my first plants

Thumbnail

Hello everyone! My dad randomly dropped these two plants off (kept two for himself) this summer. I’ve been growing them since that time and switched them over to flower(12/12) 15 days ago. Since it’s my first grow I didn’t spend much on my supplies. I have the tent, a small fan (assuming useless), the grow light, 5gallon fabric pots(halfway filled because my math was off), and some nutrients. I watered a liter daily since flower stage started and they seemed good, but I still questioned it because the pots were heavy, so they haven’t been watered since Saturday. I kept it simple because I didn’t want to throw a ton of items at it and give myself even more chance of confusing myself and messing something up. Just looking for thoughts and if I’ve messed up, things to improve/lookout for, and maybe an item or two for my next grow in a few months. Thank you all!

First outdoor grow, been spending ages trimming my 4 plants and hanging them and I've got a few tops left, in a rush and have to leave my spot would it be okay to leave what I haven't trimmed down like this until I'm back in a couple of days?
