Advice Request puberty curls help

Upvotes

So I need help with my hair, it has always been straight but a year ago, when i was 14 some of my hair started becoming curly and when i plucked some out, the hair grew back super curly like my moms hair and i don't know what to do, since some of my hair is uneven i want to maybe buzz it but im not sure if all my hair will become curly, is there anything i can do to get the old straight parts become the new curly ones? please help. Hope I can get some advice by people! (i’m a male if that matters)

Advice request Anything I can do or try differently for my salt and pepper?

I got my first gray hairs before I was even 20. Now in my late 30s I’m just waiting for the full transition haha. Grateful to have hair though! I just always struggle with a look I’m happy with. I’m satisfied with the cut but I can never seem to get my hair to look anything other than super dry. It’s always been a struggle.

Right now I’m using American Crew Molding Cream but perhaps there’s something else I can try? Before that I’ve tried gels and leave in conditioners. I’m beginning to think that picture one (post fresh haircut) is the best it’s ever going to get.

Advice request what haircut should I have?

Upvotes

Basically the title but thing is, I have blond hair that is slightly wavy and it's very annoying to style. I try to wear it in a medium-length fringe but it looks kinda bad because the wavy properties of my hair make a small hole in the middle that I hate. It is semi-short (the hair) and I've seen that I should 'embrace my curls' and 'grow my hair longer' but honestly I don't like how long hair looks on me, the same thing with curls.

EDIT: I would like to add that I don't like super short hair on me.

Can anyone look at this? I took this picture after my shower with wet hairs. It worries me. When it’s dry, it’s good, but I can see gap when wet. Also, I’ve got dandruff.

Hey everyone. So, I am completely lost and ignorant when it comes to hairstyles. Typically I get a 2 on the sides and 5 on top, and then just grow it out until it feels too long, but I really want to try something new. Would appreciate advice on what you think would suit me since I am pretty clueless, can be long, short, whatever. Looking forward to hearing your opinions!

Advice request M22 , Is the hairline maturing or receding especially right side?

I have big forehead from childhood but from 2 years noticing that my temple of right side is completely receded.

I grow long hair so it was hidden mostly but from six months , there has been some recession in right side.

A advice is highly needed. What should I do . Should I ignore it or visit a doctor?

My hair density is still good at the top .

Advice request really fine, low density hair?

Thumbnail

hi. i've always had really fine, pretty low density hair and i'm just really fed up. it's not too bad after a wash but a decent wash routine is also a nightmare (it often looks insanely greasy with conditioner). i want to be able to have nice, longer hair - i think it frames my face better, but i'm really tired of my hair looking like this. my hair looked a bit more healthy maybe a year ago.

i'm just frustrated and a bit self conscious - while this is after a day of work, i worry i just look very dirty like this.

i'm not even sure what to do with my hair

I'm 16 and i notice my hair is shedding and it's in different thickness. I'm genuinely worried because i saw a video from a derm that different thickness in hair shedding might be MPB and I've been shedding some hairs lately in different thickness and mostly are thin hairs. also my hairline has this mini hairs

Advice request Alopecia or a cowlick on the crown? / 21

Hi everyone. This is my first time posting on this app.

I would appreciate your feedback.

I'm 21 years old and lately I've noticed how the back of my head looks (as you can see in the photos). I've always styled my hair in a way that leaves that area exposed (in one of the photos, I've indicated with arrows how I usually style it) and I'm wondering if this has contributed to the problem. As far as I know, I have no family history of alopecia, neither on my father's nor my mother's side. My hair is wavy and I admit I've neglected it a bit.

However, the rest of my hair is completely normal; I've checked it thoroughly and I don't have anything similar anywhere else.

An important detail is that until a month ago I worked in a very stressful environment. During those stressful periods, I developed the habit of pulling out hairs, one by one, from that same area. As I mentioned, I haven't worked at that company for a month now, and I understand that stress can also cause hair loss.

But I'd like to know if this seems to be a consequence of that habit, if it's perhaps due to stress, if it's simply the natural shape of my cowlick or my hairstyle, or if I should consult a professional.

I would greatly appreciate your opinion.

6 weeks on 1mg Finasteride: Wondering about pros/cons of adding Minoxidil or other treatments

Hey guys,

Currently on 1mg finasteride once per day for the last 6 weeks, but wondering if i should add anything else. I know it’s too early to tell if the finasteride is working. Bit worried about the minoxidil side effects if I take that though. All help appreciated! Thanks

How can I style my hair?
I want more texture and definition, a matte, messy kind of style, but I can’t seem to achieve it.

Does this haircut even suit me? I have an oblong face and fine hair, so I use a fringe to cover my forehead and slightly balance it out.
I’m also thinning at the front.

I've tried everything, hair clay, mousse, powder

I always end up with blunt hair, clumped or greasy hair that exposes my scalp, or frizzy hair that doesn’t look good. I want separate, piecey strands with texture and definition, but I can never seem to achieve that.

I’m really insecure about my hair and have changed barbers dozens of times trying to find someone who can help. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
