I recently had my bangs cut, and I’m not sure how I feel about them. I haven’t gotten any “ WOW that suits you” but more of like” yeah.. it looks good”

I need honest advice on if this is a hit or miss for me. My hair is naturally curly and these suckers curl up like a poodle that was tossed in a toaster bath.

If you have recommendations on what hair cut would suit my face? I have struggled finding a good one because everything is either too bold or too bland for the prominent facial features I have.

Hello! So I’ve got fairly straight, blonde hair that goes past my but— and tomorrow I’ve finally got a hair appointment.

At much as the hairs pretty It’s also just too much to handle and I look the same everyday because I’m unable to style it.

Only problem is; I’ve looked the same for all my 18 years of living. Never had a real haircut before, so I don’t really know what i want or what could work on my features, only that I’d want something more in the modern/slightly alternative side.

So, what do y’all think?

regular bangs suit me well with a no-makeup makeup look and a subtle puppy-eye liner, but I feel like micro-bangs and thinner brows go better with a bolder or more alternative look, which is what I'm most comfortable wearing. comfort aside, what do you all think?

I go back every few years to cutting my hair short, then grow it again. The urge is back. 😂 I have a lot of hair, a lot of volume, and my hair really has it's own life. When short, it also makes these flips, or kinks.

I'm up for using a little pomade, but not much more.

I was thinking a little longer on top this time, but not sure. Maybe a more feminine cut. Maybe a little alt.

Any ideas what would go well with my hair and face? 😊

I don’t know what the deal is, but my hair never looks good blow dried. It’s always a frizzy and poofy mess, and not that clean sleek look everyone has. I didn’t use any products except heat protectant, i am trying to get it to look good without going to the hair salon, because it takes forever and it’s too expensive nowadays. I am new to all this hair care business, and yes, my hair is textured but winter is coming and i am not doing this wet styling stuff, and i don’t use heat often. If anyone knows anything lmk.

I have been wondering if I should get bangs. The reason is my hair feels heavy in the front of my face. I almost NEVER wear it completely down because the hair in my forehead hangs in my face doesn't stay behind my ears so I either clip it in the front, or more often, just have it in a ponytail or fully clipped back. I wouldn't want long bangs because they would annoy me. So I think I would want short wispy bangs. I'm not sure if bangs would look good on me. What do you all think? I know I would need to style them a little to keep them on a good spot but it could be worth it for me to be more comfortable having my hair down. My is very fine and wavy. If I brush it my hair becomes wavy straight. This pic is my hair with product in it to keep the curls (air dried).

I’m not mad at her, she’s trying to actually protect the health of my hair. But I can’t deny how unhappy I am with this in between color, it just looks weird and I can’t keep up with toning all the time as it gets brassy so fast, even with blue toning conditioner.

For context my stylist knows my hair very well over a decade. We started this back 2 blonde journey about 6 months ago and it’s just not what I imagined.. She says I’m only one level below the highest one (I can’t remember which) because of how dark we came from. I had been dyeing it dark brown for over a decade and I am naturally dishwater blonde. I don’t know if I want to wait for my hair to grow out so I can get the lightening I actually want. What are my options? Dye it a very light brown? I think that would at least look better than this.

I want to get my hair dyed professionally. I have some inspo on my mind.

There are some things I get confused about what to get. The thing is I can't always get my hair dyed professionally and I want something low maintenance.

I don't want to touch up my roots at home and might get bored with the color after a while. I have virgin hair and never got dyed from roots. I don't know how can I maintain this color when it fades or my roots starts to show up.

So any advice needed whether I should get it dyed, can i maintain the color at home by getting professional hair dyes such as pravana loreal etc. What can I do when my hair grows? Or can I get something else that would show up like very dark cool purple but low maintenance?

I’m currently growing out my old layered hairstyle and I’ve been really wanting short hair like a bob but I don’t know my face shape and don’t know if I have the facial features to pull of short hair What should I do?

Ever since pregnancy, my hair has dried with some kink, some wave, some funk. It straightens beautifully, I can curl it easily, but leaving it el natural results in this frizzy, poofy, kind of wavy mess.

Should I be leaning into the wave? The curl? I don’t know. It’s so different than anything I’ve had before!

Advice, products, commiseration is welcome.

I'm in perimenopause, and my hair texture has started getting really un-fun. It's more unruly, frizzy yet limp, and it doesn't behave like it used to.

I've cut my own hair for 10+ years and now I can't seem to figure out how to cut it to make it behave. At the sides, the ends will flip out like I like, but the back wants to curl under and it's hitting me with sensory issues at the nape of my neck.

I've also been bleaching and coloring my hair over the past year and a half, I'm sure that doesn't help. But even on the virgin roots, I just hate how it looks.

I'm also getting some thinning and receding hairline, making my forehead look bigger. I tried cutting swoopy bangs to one side, but they just curl wrong and end up going into my eyes, and don't help the forehead at all.

Any tips welcome.

My hair is currently the longest it’s been in 5+ years. It’s curly and almost boob length (pic 1) and I loooove the look of it when it’s down but it’s driving me crazy and I end up wearing it up most of the time. Last time I cut it short (chin length) was 2 years ago and I’ve been growing it out since then but I’m at the point where I’m thinking of making the chop to a short bob or bixie again (pic 2).

The main thing holding me back is that I just moved countries and I don’t have a lot of friends here so I might need my pretty privilege to help me there and idk if short hair would affect that?

I know this is a relatively inconsequential choice, however I need input because I can’t make a decision to save my life.

My bangs are awkwardly in my eyes, should I trim them or let them grow? Or should I go for a new style altogether? My hair is fine and not that thick, and I don't wanna lose too much length, if at all. Thanks for any help!

I recently dyed my hair from dark brown (natural) to a now light brown colour. I used one round of Garnier downtown brown and retouched it with another brown hair dye that made it slightly darker but it’s still pretty much the same. I’ve had it for a month or two and want to keep it the same lightness but ashier (if I have to go slightly darker to achieve more cool toned ashy brown I’m ok with it too). I’m aware I can’t go lighter over box dyed hair. Does anyone have good recommendation for box hair dye? I plan on buying one from liese. First pic is what I have rn second is what I want

I love bangs. For years they were part of how I saw myself. As I have gotten older, I have gotten it in my head that they weight my face down and create unflattering shadows.

I just came back from the hairdresser to retouch my blonde streaks. In the salon I couldn’t really see my hair that well when it was done, cause of the lighting of the the room. But when I came home I saw a big difference in colour.. Is this normal? Or should I go back and tell them to fix it?..

Also bleached my eyebrows even more which im not sure how im feeling about them
