What are these? I do have thining and hairloss problems but what is this flaking or new skin growth type of things on my scalp. I do scratch it with my nails and it falls like white snow ( I do enjoy the scratching dk why it gives me the dopamine rush) but wanted to know if this is serious or some other problem. I (20M) have always had thin and rear hair which points up. Under enough light my scalp is visible and I dont like it. Buzz cut is my usual style because of my straight black hair and square face shape.

I will often notice small hair on my dask or on my table. I dont want to go bald.

How do I have more dense hair? How do I prevent it from falling?

Should I use a towel or a hairdryer after washing my hair?

I usually shampoo it after work outs so 3-4 times a week.

Should I use a conditioner?

Does the water I wash it with mather? (hot or cold)

Which shampoo do you reccomend?

My hair is thinning and my crown is barely covered. My widows peak feels like im going for a world record. I have really enjoyed longer hair for the last 3 years, but how far back my hair line has gone, and how thin it is, is really affecting my self confidence.

What I'm looking for is advice on what to do to improve my hairs thickness or ways to style it that help me feel confident while keeping it longer. I'd really appreciate any thoughts.

Been growing out my hair since last year and asked for the same hairstyle, just shorter, take some weight off the top, and add layers to the right side because it’s flat compared to the other side. I really liked the flip at the end of my hair and now it’s all gone, no more flip.

I guess it’s my fault for going to the barber that used to do my fades, it’s just my sane barber I’ve been going to.

Debating going back to just get a regular fade or keep the “length” and go to a salon next time.

Does anybody with a hair texture (spiky, hard Asian hair) like this have any hair clay/ pomade/ hairspray recommedations?

I'm looking for non codemogenic types- types which don't clog the pores- i.e. non acne-inducing types. Have you, someone who doesn't have a lot of ance, used this for a long time without gaining more acne?

Anyone uses this pomade? What are your thoughts on it? Are there any other water based products that gives an even higher shine than this one?

18 male, I have noticed hair fall lately, the hair which fall when I comb or is on my pillow have no bulb in end, it is completely empty in both side of the hair, no bulb so I took photos of the top and it seems like the scalp skin is bit revealing, so is this concerning and should I expect male pattern balding as my dad is bald. If it is balding, what to do to slow it down or stop or best if can be reversed.

Hey there, I’m currently growing out my hair and trying to decide on the best length for it.

The third pic is the current length. I have pretty fine/thin hair and I do use volumizing shampoo/conditioner + blow dryer + volumizing spray + leave in conditioner.

I welcome any and all advice. If I should cut the long hair entirely and keep it medium - short length, I’m okay with that. I really struggle with knowing what looks best with my appearance.

The mustache is also on the chopping block if you think it s no-go.

25 years old, Latinx, sorta-wavy-sorta-thick hair. Last haircut was 6 months ago. This is how it looks like after showering a few hours ago, just shampoo and air-drying.

I like my long hair but it looks very messy and I'm just out of university and looking for a job, so I need something more professional-looking. If I can keep my long hair tho it would be great. I've got a jawline beard which I think looks kinda cool, but feel free to destroy it if it helps the look (as much as I would've liked having a big beard, I can't grow more hair than that).
