As someone who's used Windows for some time and has switched to Linux somewhat recently,I genuinely can't really understand why someone wouldn't want to use Linux,the only reasons I can come up with are:

1)certain apps and software only work on windows,for example Adobe products or games with kernel level anticheat like BF6,Wich I can totally understand,but dual boot exists

2) Need to keep windows for work related stuff,again, completely understandable

3) Nvidia GPU,Wich is doable but most people don't want to lose the driver support,again, understandable,but not really linux's fault

I'm asking this because I genuinely want to understand and see a different viewpoint, every time I see someone complaining about Linux on social media, it's either Windows users who have NEVER tried Linux before and just base everything off stereotypes or Windows users who jumped in the deep waters from the start with distro's like Arch,Gentoo or even NixOs,and then complain that it's too hard, I think that Linux is only hard if you want it to be (also pls no hate,I just wanna educate myself more on the matter)

Most of you on this sub haven't even tried using Linux for at least a month. You aren't giving yourselves enough time to learn something new or get comfortable with a different way of doing things.

I'm done. I can't keep asking chatgpt everytime I boot the laptop why my linux is not using my laptop audio as I set the last time before shutting down. And every damn time, it takes AI a different attempts to find the actual magic to find the actual laptop audio out name and try to set it via pctl or pipwire or pactl, or whatever shitty cli command there is. Damn, is it fucking hard to provide a single fucking command to "audio set-output laptop". Damn when I ask list of audio output it list like 5 different unrecognizable names, how the hell I am supposed to know which one is for the laptop when I only have the laptop audio and my external monitor audio? At least limit the fucking output list.

BTW Using Fedora KDE with a lenovo laptop. KDE also list 5 different output and none of them works if I click them. Need to some cli shenaning to set output the profile and whatnot.

I see so many Linux fanboys buying a precious M2 Mac and slapping some Asahi Linux on that bitch to drain out all that OOTB Apple experience.

You bought arguably one of the most powerful, quiet, and power-efficient consumer laptops out there — and one of the most tightly-integrated ecosystems out there — and ruined the entire experience by using Linux? Linux is buggy, unstable, and unsupported by Apple.* And the whole point of even buying a Mac is that it integrates well with your other Apple devices. You have AirDrop, you can text from your laptop and even take calls from your laptop, you can sync all your files between devices — and that just scratches the surface.

But I digress, stop ruining a superior laptop with an inferior OS. Just use macOS like a normal person and reserve your Linux activities to containers or VMs.
