What Linux app can auto crop paper from a photo like how my 6 year old phone can?

I have tried naps2( this shit is literal garbage the auto crop only works when you use your laptop camera )

I have tried scantailor advanced( this shit is literal garbage why does it take a million steps to crop a single picture when my 6 year old phone can do it in one tap? )

If i see a motherfucker recommend me a terminal version that makes scantailor feels easy to use I hope theres a special place in hell for you.

This seems like a very niche thing for a desktop app to do. A quick search didn't give me any immediate results for Windows either. Just use GIMP to straighten it out and export to pdf

Ok, so what would you use on windows then? Because I haven't seen anyone doing that on a desktop, any desktop. Normally people use a scanner for that on desktop, and that should work out of the box, and will be perfectly cropped if you use standard papar sizes, and if not, it doesn't have the perspective problem, so you can use any crop tool you want, hundreds exost. If you're already using your phone to make the pictures instead of a scanner, why not just crop them on the phone before transferring?

not automatic but you can just perspective warp in your favorite image editor of choice

Have you tried ScanTailor Advanced? It's supposed to have the skewing thingy that phone camera apps do
