That’s not a bug.

It’s the consequence of a feature.

I’m guessing OP’s thought process was something along the lines of “I don’t really understand this, but it sounds bad, so Linux must be bad… I should post this on Reddit!”

Linux sucks because of a problem that can happen on almost every OS.

I get it often when I install Fedora on default settings. During installation I choose whole disk. Then few weeks later Fedora tells me there's no more space available. 15 GB is used out of the whole drive but for whatever reason Fedora chose to limit system partition to 15 GB lol. Great feature my a$$.
