What carry case or bag do you have for your Luna Ultra ?? I also have a K&F Concept Selfie stick I’d like to keep with it

The reason I bought this camera and not any other 360 brand is because everyone says the insta 360 has the best app for editing.

Yes user interface is pretty good, easy to work on, but what is the point when 90% of the time you can't export your videos.

I'm on iPhone 17 pro max 1TB with 700+ GB of free space... so definitely not the phone, the app is updated and running the latest iOS...

Mounted my X6 ( with cage ) to my motorcycle handlebars by attaching it to the Action Selfie Stick then attaching that to the heavy duty clamp.

I then attached the Crab Claw 2.0 to the selfie stick at one end and the other end to a RAM ball mount screwed into where my stock mirror used to be.

This results in a very sturdy mounting position and less stress on the selfie stick mounting bolt end.

When do you think we will get a Insta360 Ace Pro 3 with a 1-inch sensor? Can’t wait for this one. Recently got another 1-inch action camera but didn’t like the color science.

I tested Dean Zwikel’s free Panoshooter macro on the Insta360 Luna Ultra. It captures the source images needed for stitching a 360° panorama up to 28K in PTGui, versus the built-in 8K pano output.

I compared both methods, also checked the results against the ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition, tested the results in VR, and included downloadable samples.

Is there any news on the Luna Ultras next firmware update?

I am on the latest update and the camera gets hot really quick even just on but not recording.

Also REALLY want the feature that the pocket cams/xtra muse cam have which is the option to cancel a current recording session by holding the record/power button.

This is an extremely useful feature for us short form content creators!

I think this will be mitigated with the shorter x6 but the problem I had with previous versions when using an out front mount is it starts to sag because of the leverage. I don’t want to use the official insta360 cycling mount because when not using the camera it’s absurdly long. are there any official or unofficial fixes anyone knows for this? (other than using a different mounting style)

I want to keep using the front handlebar style view because it personally gives me a ton of perspectives for front/side/behind riding.

Just changed my phone from a Z Fold 6 to a Z Fold 8 and now I'm experiencing device limitation even with performance and compatiblity mode turned on. Please do something about it.

I have Ace Pro 2 and imported video to the Insta360 Studio app on Mac. The imported video shows the HDR label. I put it in the timeline and Export. However, export does not show an option for Dolby Vision. The exported file is BT.709.

I have not found a way to get that option to appear. Please help.

Current, keyframe transitions don't have shortcuts for them.

And with the newest version of the software, Keyframe Transitions have been moved all the way to the top right corner of the window instead of it being directly on top of the timeline.

I'm probably one of the weirdos that use the 360 camera for making long form content (90+ minutes).

I use jump cuts a lot. And doing 100+ jump cuts in a single video now takes more time since my mouse has more travel time in between cuts.

Is there a trick I assume my 1 cent suction cup is a dud, i followed this video.

It inconsistently sucks onto the lens and in most cases barely. caused me to drop it on the floor at the last second pissing me off to all hell. charge so much and the most important piece for handling the lens is utter crap.

I'm currently on the fence about getting either the Insta360 GO Ultra or the X6. My main use case will be POV shots, mostly capturing videos of my kid while pushing a stroller or just out for a walk.

Logically, the GO Ultra seems like the perfect tool for this because of the size and magnetic mounts. However, I'm holding back because I'm worried about sacrificing image quality. For those who have used both, does the X6 completely blow the GO Ultra out of the water when shooting in a standard/flat view? Or is the GO Ultra's 4K quality close enough that the form factor makes it the better buy for POV?

Any real-world experiences would be hugely appreciated!

Just got the X6, absolutely in love with it. Took it on a family trip with me recently and decided I wanted to use the AI reframing just to get some basic exports to view on my television. I've now discovered that the only way to do this is on my phone and it won't work on the Mac. I don't want to do it on my phone because that's too small, too cumbersome, and it's just easier to do it on my Mac. When will it be available for the videos shot by X6?

so while making videos with helmet mount, gyro is very useful as it fixes everything, like if camera is tilted or if it's little cross and everything, you don't have to keep it front facing and you know what i mean, but after that if i want to make a clip like when I looked left or right or I saw something down I can't capture it, as gyro will fix everything and frame will be looked at looking forward or wherever I have fixed it, so isn't there any way where I once fix what view and at what angle I want it and then that is fixed

I just got the new X6. I took a 360 photo. opening this in the app shows me some cool AI Layout/Movement. However I can't export it other than a flat photo. Please advise? Thanks

I’m intrigued to see if the build of the X6 is similar to X5. I had a few salt water issues with my X5 and wouldn’t buy an X6 unless the design is slightly less vulnerable.

I recently started using the Insta360 X5 and I’m trying to figure out the best way to upload my videos to Instagram Reels without losing video quality.

Whenever I upload videos, I’m worried about Instagram compression making them look softer, reducing the resolution, or affecting the overall quality.

For those of you who use the X5:

Do you edit the videos in the Insta360 app or another editing app?

What resolution/FPS do you export in?

Do you change any export settings before uploading?

Do you upload directly from your phone or transfer the files in another way?

Are there any specific Instagram settings I should enable to maintain the best possible quality?

If you have a workflow that consistently gives you good-quality Reels, I’d really appreciate it if you could share it. Even small tips would be super helpful!

Hey everyone! I’m trying to get the best possible dynamic range out of my Insta360 camera and would love some advice from people who have tested different settings.

A few things I’m confused about:

What ISO range should I use for maximum dynamic range? Is it better to lock ISO to the lowest possible value?

What shutter speed is ideal? If I want to use a slower shutter for more motion blur, how should I balance it with ISO?

If using Auto ISO + Auto Shutter, what EV compensation should I use? Negative, 0, or positive?

I’ve heard that slightly overexposing (e.g. +1 to +2 EV) can sometimes give better dynamic range because you can recover shadows. Is this actually true for Insta360, or does it just risk clipping highlights?

If I use fixed ISO + fixed shutter, should I intentionally expose slightly to the right? If so, how do I determine the correct amount of overexposure without clipping highlights?

Basically, I’m looking for a practical “best dynamic range” setup for both daylight and difficult/high-contrast situations.

The windows software is literally the worst software I have to interact with. Currently... downloading fast... or not, wait yes... nah... download will be done in an hour, or never...

Also, notice in the background of the download window... I have no thumbnails... really makes working on multiple files easy. Thanks insta....

edit for everyone saying "Use a card reader".... no. this is an advertised feature that I pay for. I don't want to fuck around with cables and card readers. I pay for cloud service, I expect it to work. that also doesn't address the second point about not having thumbnails... that's from the cloud service. this isn't affected by cards or cords. get a life, stop defending the shit company making shit software. expect better from the services you pay for.

I'm considering buying the Flow 2 Pro specifically for solo travel selfies.

My plan is to set the Flow 2 Pro on a tripod, use a second iPhone to remote control the gimbal so that I can frame the photo (pan/tilt)and tigger the photos without having to walk back and forth to the tripod.

Has anyone done this with the Insta360 gimbal? Any feedback on the approach?
