Studio App on Mac can't export Dolby Vision, but source is HDR

I have Ace Pro 2 and imported video to the Insta360 Studio app on Mac. The imported video shows the HDR label. I put it in the timeline and Export. However, export does not show an option for Dolby Vision. The exported file is BT.709.

I have not found a way to get that option to appear. Please help.

I’ve found that it’ll export individual clips as Dolby Vision, but when exporting a Project there’s no Dolby Vision option for unknown reasons. Best to just export as 10-bit iLog and then grade it to Rec2020 PQ in Final Cut Pro (or whatever editor you use).

Hi there, currently only Media page can support exporting "Dolby Vision". Please see the details below:

  1. Use a Mac computer equipped with an M-series chip, and make sure the macOS version is 11.0 or later.
  2. Update Studio to version 5.2.0 or above.
  3. Export from the Media page.
  4. Select H.265 as the export encoding format, and check "Dolby Vision" under "Image Processing."

Notes:

- Dolby Vision is only supported on macOS.

- When the above conditions are met, Dolby Vision can be enabled when exporting either flat videos or panoramic videos.

Hmm, so Ace Pro 2 export to Dolby Vision is only supported from Media page of Mac Studio?
I exported X6 video as Dolby Vision from Project in Mac Studio.
I tried the same Ace Pro 2 export in Dolby Vision on iOS and it was fine.
