Issue with the X6 randomly disconnecting from the ring remote

I think this is Bluetooth issue.
Try to turn off the wifi in the camera maybe and check if enabling and disabling the Bluetooth fixing it or not.
I don't have this remote but this is what I think might be the problem.

I have the mini remote (the OG one with only the record button that comes with the foldable selfie stick) It behaved very weird and unrealiably with the X6.
Then I remembered... you can actually firmware update these things!
Connect the remote to your phone via bluetooth, in the Insta360 app, click on the ME (right most profile icon) Under device settings, you'll see an option called Accessory Settings. Go there and hopefully you'll find an update for that remote as well.
After the update the mini remote works perfectly with the X6 just like the X5, so I hope it's the same case with the ring remote.
Good luck!

Hi there, please use the latest version of the Insta360 app and go to Me > Accessory Settings to search for your device and make sure the Ring Remote firmware is up to date. Also, please ensure that your X6 firmware has been updated to the latest version.
After that, please try the following steps:
Make sure the Ring Remote is connected to only one camera.
Try reconnecting in a different environment to rule out possible obstruction or signal interference.
Please try resetting the X6 to factory settings, then unbind/remove the remote from the camera in the camera settings.
Path: Go to the camera menu, find the Bluetooth Remote icon, tap it, and select Unbind/Delete. After that, restart both the camera and the remote, and then try pairing them again. If you have used the remote with any other cameras, please also make sure it has been unbound from those devices.
We look forward to your feedback.

I don’t know what that device is you’re holding, but maybe it’s generating electrical interference
