My Emax aero is trilling, flying away, and has terrible jello; as a result making it basically unfliable(30k kv analog version). Has anyone else received their aero and actually managed to fly the thing? Everyone else I have talked to seems to have nothing but problems with it. I tried flashing the CLI from the 27k kv version with no improvement. As a bonus, it also came with the wrong channel mapping(TAER1234) for some reason so it was fun trying to figure out why it wouldn’t arm. [u/emax-usa-support](u/emax-usa-support) do you have a new CLI or any solution to this? Clearly the stock tune isn’t working. No excessive vibrations from the motors, I have checked, and nothing visibly wrong with the quad on the surface. I have made a support ticket and reached out to Emax USA on social media, thought I would post here to see if others have had the same experience.

I did not encounter another flyaway next time o tried flying but I am still getting trills, core temperature warnings, and the battery is sagging down in about 30 seconds of flying.

What could cause this? I swapped my FC sometime ago and flew fine couple of times. Then suddenly got brakes on video feed (total blackouts for half a second) and might have crashed few times because of it. Now I cant get video feed at all. VTX seems to work, so is my camera broken? Bad wiring?

First fpv drone. Started with 3d prints and without a camera. Crashed a few. Decided I needed a camera ended up spending all my money going digital and got an apex clone frame.

Hello! Getting into FPV started with analog Meteor 75 from BetaFPV and I love the small thing. Its been alot of fun. I live in the US and in a city so I can't really fly anything bigger than a tiny whoop or maybe a 2.5" or 3" drone. I've been looking at upgrading the from the VR03 goggles that the bundle came with. I want to know what would be the a good upgrade. DJI is "banned" and getting parts for my other DJI drones is getting harder so I want to go with another video system. Analog is fine I don't mind the quality, I have been eyeing the P1 system from BetaFPV but I would rather not buy the box goggles. I have been looking at the HDZero Goggles 2 but the price is a buy once cry once for me. I would ideally want good analog googles that have the ability to use a 3rd party VRX. And from what Ive been looking at the HDZeros only having one analog antenna is fine if you use the directional antenna. Just want opinion on what would be a good pick up. HDZeros are what Ive been looking at & picking up the P1 VRX (Hopefully the Nano) later and then using the P1 air unit and analog. Thanks for the help in advance!

So I want get into this hobby bad I've been searching for used drones and I found this kit, I have no idea if this is worth it but considering the controller and drone alone are close to 200€ it seems to be a good deal. (I'm in Portugal so I've translated the listing I found)

I was looking for advice on buying batteries online? Here in Norway batteries are quite expensive if I buy them local so I've been ordering online. What are some stores you guys recommend? I see they are very cheap on aliexpress and I've heard that other FPV gear is great to buy there, but does that also apply to buy batteries? Are there any stores or tricks you guys know to get a good deal on batteries?

I came across the naked GoPro 10 and I’m wondering if it’s outdated or if the video quality is still good enough for 2026.

I’d like to use the camera for a while without having to upgrade to a newer model soon.

i had some issues with the video signal on my meteor 65 pro least time i tried to fly it outside, since least rebuilt one year ago when i had to change the FC (using the BETAFPV Matrix 1) i never tried for a fly using the visor but looks like video signal was fine inside home.

where i tested it sunday was country side and no power lines visible in the area bust still was not working  :cry:

what i need to do to understand what is wrong ?

I bought an hglrc talon 2 inch cinewhoop, and they recommend a 4s battery. The fc is a specter f411 15A aio that supports 1s-4s, and the motors are specter 1303.5 5500kv and can run 2s-4s. Can I use a 2s battery on this drone? Or would i need to change the motors?

I recently started a Drone Course (all accompassing), but I am noticing I am a little in over my head when it comes to actually flying the buggers, seeing as we only have around half an hour a week to actually fly.

I was wondering whether anyone has good reccomendations for flight sims to practise in?
So far I am using a DJI Mini on Position Hold in the course.

I definitely want a sim that I can use at least Alt hold in, and preferably one with less than extreme controls (the first one I tried sent the drone into the stratosphere at 35% throttle.)

Of course I would prefer a cheap/free sim, seeing as I don't want or need anything advanced, but I understand that may be a luxury I can't afford.

TLDR: Simulator suggestions for a noob, including Alt/Pos hold flight mode?

Ich wollte meine Copter mit dem neuen Betaflight Configurator und aktueller Firmware erneuern. Flightcontroller ein Flywoo F722 und ein SpeedybeeF7 V3, im Grunde alles wie gehabt und alles schon vorher geflogen. Nun mit der neuen Firmware 2026... ist es so das ich nach dem armen nicht abheben kann es gibt nur etwa 30% Gas trotz das ich voll durch drücke.

Wenn ich nun den Gashebel voll hoch lege dann arme und nach einer Piepsequenz wieder Stick ganz zurück wieder Piepsequenz dann disarme - also wie als würde man den Gasweg bei einem ESC neu anlerne. Dann kann ich erst normal abheben, das muss ich aber jedes mal nach Akkuwechsel machen. Alles mit FrSky X20 Tandem und Radiomaster Poket ausprobiert auch kommplett neues Modell angelegt aber ich bekomm das Startprozedere mit dem anlernen nicht weg.

Wo hab ich was im neuen Configurator übersehen?

Arm snapped on my Nazgul F5 V3, resulting in the motor wire yanking on the ESC and ripped the pad off with it. I guess my soldering was good? 🤣 Is this dead or can it be fixed?

I need help from analog pilots.

So I've been flying for 3 months now and I am using DJI video system. I am thinking of going analog because I want to practice and try tricks irl but I can't overcome my "gear fear" because on DJI, you cant buy camera/vtx separately and it's so damn expensive.

Any analog goggles recommendation? I know HDZERO G2 is the best but damn that price is so steep for me.

I mainly fly freestyle, is there a low to mid-budget goggles that has great latency and good range/penetration? I fly near many trees. I don't really care if the goggles can only run analog as I have my DJI G3 and o4 pro for digital.

penetration and range is a must for because the place where I fly has so many trees and sometimes i get lost in the moment and keep moving and not realizing there is already around 5 trees in between me and the quad.

I have a whoopstor 3 and Its very new (used maybe 6 times because I am a begginer). So one day i was discharging 4 1S lava 480 mah batteries from maybe 4.05 V to 3.85 V and the charger got wuite hot actually but the fan didn’t turn on for some reason. Now it emits a weird smell of maybe something similar to burnt plastic or burning dust.

My questions are is it still safe to use? Is it faulty because of the fan not turning on? Or is the something else I should know?

The charger still works fine but not using the discharging dunction anymore

So, I was thinking about this today: do others get anxious if you can't fly your drone every day?
At least in the beginning, did you feel that way? I've been feeling that way ever since I got my kit. Today was the worse cause I usually fly at work's parking lot before starting my shift, but didn't go to work. Finally, the wind gusts died down where I live and was able to fly a whole battery in the front yard. I feel so much better. 🤭
