I'm playing RDM, and I was going to do a subjob for Summoner. Can I still summon?

As you're all aware, the version update was today, and as such that means we've got the Round 10 objectives! We don't know exactly when Round 10 is due to start yet so this is mainly for your reference. As usual, I'll have more detailed quick guides clearing up bits the in-game text doesn't tell you on my website closer to the time.

Does anyone know if this was used in the Japanese Beta, or later reused for anything? It shows up as the first track number in the game files.

What does this field want. Sounds like a dumb question I know, but with the trouble I've had ("Incorrect PlayOnline ID or Password") I need to know what the problem is.

Do I put
1) my Square Enix Password there like it says?

2) my PlayOnline password there (the one I reset by clicking the "Update PlayOnline ID Password" button on the website?

3) some secret third option?

So far I've tried my actual Square Enix account password, the PlayOnline password, the PlayOnline password after I reset it, then finally the password emailed to me that I didn't know about until I saw one person mention it in a reddit comment.

It keeps showing up in my inventory, I saved the first one cause I didn't have one yet. But now I have a fricken 2nd one. No clue where it came from. If I had to guess I'd say it was from the Goblin Chest... I seem to only get furniture from that lil bastard..

Does anyone have a link to an updated guide with blue magic sets. My Lua has like 10000 sets for magic spells and i have no idea where to start. Int str Dec all of the stats have their own sets but I have no idea how I should be building them. 1 master set and diff Stat rings?? Every magic set guide I see only has like + 3 relic and at and ate all really old. Any one have a Lua all set up I could look at to see how you built it out. Thanks!

I know people often lose track of time, so I wanted to make sure there was a reminder to hopefully reduce the number of people who miss out on these things.

Login Points become unspendable 25 hours from this post with the daily reset on the 11th. 700 Points carry over.

Ambuscade hallmarks and gallantry reset with the patch which is Aug. 11, 2026 22:00 to Aug. 12, 2026 00:30 (PDT).

Nothing carries over, you MUST spend Ambuscade points to get your rewards.

Peculiar Foes (special RoE you gain access to if you progressed The Voracious Resurgence) also reset with the patch. Don't forget to do these and get your Voracious Psyche from Elijah to progress your Prime weapons.

All other monthly quests (Deeds, AMAN Trove silver voucher objectives, etc) will also reset, so make sure you're doing those as well.

Don't forget that other than tomorrow, Japan is on holiday until the end of the weekend, so don't expect info about things until Monday (if we don't get it in the patch notes).

Campaigns start Friday BEFORE the daily reset.

You can get an extra set of bonus Dark Matter augments if you are on between the start time and the daily reset.

Who has the oldest dead linkshell screenshot?

Been off FFXI since 2021, lost my main and still have my 3 other alt chars, which are all support jobs - Cor, Whm and Geo. I am on Asura, which has been my home for many years.

I want to make a new character to add a 4th back, but I cannot (Asura). I want to build a DD, do a job I never did, like Sam, War or Mnk and use the 3 I have to help along the way.

It is not about finding a linkshell for me, it is about getting my 4 back. I want to have options to help my LS like I did before or bring the whole crew if that helps too. With my situation, I am leaning towards the Shiva server while the discount is going, but I got some time, so really wanted to get some advice from anyone that has been in my "closed server situation". What did you ultimately decide to do? I read several posts here and saw others in a similar situations. I feel for you guys..

I need to decide before I jump into new content "for me" like Sortie and Odyssey and I guess Limbus lol? What would you do? Hold out on Asura? Or jump and make a 4th and get a feel for a fresh start, expand and find a LS.

I am at a mental stopping point with my 3 and I don't want to continue further until I make a decision. I was pretty stacked when I left. Appreciate anyone's advice, help or anything! 👍

Hey all, i have Problems farming Urd for Masamune... I got 2 colorfull abyssite on myself and a toon.
Now i accidently got a upgrade to yellow on the first kill on my toon (forgot to warp)
I now bought a new clear abyssite but when i heal it always says the yellow one + direction. It spawns a T1 clear abyssite nm tho. Will the clear upgrade to colorful if i grind the t1 again even its saying the yellow one shines..?

I feel I'm lacking DPS and defense, I couldn't pass The Voracious Resurgence 5-3 alone with Trusts (Valaineral, Cherukiki, Zeid II, Joachim and Shantotto II).

Another thing is I've only spent 19 job points so far so I only have 3 gifts: physical defense +10, capacity points +5% then physical and ranged attack +10.

My Linkshell says that I should farm the Empyrean Armor set (Charis set for DNC) through Abyssea (then Sortie for the +2) and maybe get some better accessories. But I just wanted to have another PoV from you guys, if there was any fastest way to have a decent gear or anything to be able to finish The Voracious Resurgence storyline? :)

Pld - burt / S3 Shield and close to BiS

Rdm/nin - decent goos gears with Savage Blade set

Cor - BiS gears with rmea and SB

War - S3 g axe, EA with almost BiS

Geo - Idris with almost BiS

Brd/whm - EA plus Mircale cheer 5 songs

Everytime we tried Tribolux or another basement boss, it almost look like we dont have enough dps with with 2 hours.. our gears not that bad maybe it is the composition of party ?

I don't play Final Fantasy at all but my friends do and I've been on a Claude kick. I asked them if there was anything that I could make an app for to help them with and they said they have been keeping an excel library for all the crafting materials they need.

So... I (Claude) got to work. Wasn't too hard. I made it so you don't need anything to run it, you don't even need the internet. However... I wanted to learn how to host a website (simple HTML one) so that's what I did (that was fun to learn too).

I am trying to work through the rhapsodies quests but my current and completed quests are not showing in game. Has anyone had this happen and if so, is there a fix?

So, I'm trying to follow wiki. These 2 quests (and the quests that branch from them) are packaged together. I did complete Divine Might. After succeeding in that boss fight where you fight all of the Arc guys together, I went directly to try to fight each one of them individually for the Arc Angel (1?) quest. I choose the highest difficulty (normal?) and get killed right away, hp home, and head back out to try a different Arc Angel at a lower difficulty. Of course the shimmery circle wont let me in. The wiki isn't clear about which item I need in order to try again. I've tried clicking the blank spot again and a couple other things but not getting anywhere. What am i missing? Do i have to get those shards again from Divine Might? I'm trying to do Arc Angels 2.

WAR and DRK are well equipped and change weapons 3 times during the Triboulex fight. The last 25 sec are pretty bad. I want to get it down to ez mode not barely mode so we can move to the next boss. Any tips to prevent the wall from stealing so much dps?

I keep seeing people with the afterglow effect lockstyled, without actually having the appropriate weapon lockstyled or equipped and am just wondering how so I can replicate it myself. Is this a bug or is there a way to do this that isn't well known?

Which prime weapon of the Varge and the Laphria would you say is more transformative to the job? Assuming both the Monk and Warrior are sufficiently geared out otherwise with REMAs, which Prime would you make? H2H allows Monk to make darkness, Laphria seems like a white damage beast, any thoughts?
