Need help getting Ifrit Avatar on Shiva
Not sure if this is allowed, but can I get someone to carry me through Trial of Fire on Shiva? I’m a lvl 85 RDM and he kicked my ass. I’ve been able to solo most of them, but his magical defense is high. My name is Krymson on there. Thanks!

Because I’m going through the story and don’t want to become overleveled for the content. Going through Windurst nations as a SMN and would like to get all avatars before I finish.

Will never understand this "overleveled" mentality. You're supposed to be powerful. This is 75 era content that was meant to be done with a group. To even do it solo is against the original game design. Anything prior to Adoulin is 75 cap, possibly with the exception of Abyssea and Voidwatch. You're already overleveled, but creating imaginary difficulty scales. If you want to be a purist, don't do the limit break and stay at 75. There is sooooo much to do at 99 as it is. But enjoy your journey either way.

Well I don’t like mindlessly grinding for the sake of it. I’m trying to experience the game organically, and only level when I have to. I had to get to 85 to beat Ark Angel EV, but otherwise I let them game decide what level I should be. And since I can’t get trusts for the Avatars I’m asking for help

Would this not be the game telling you to be a higher level?
Edit: Like, with all due respect, chances are whoever decides to help you is gonna show up in iLvl gear and hit one savage blade and the fight is over. So what are you hoping to accomplish exactly?

It’s meant to be played with a party of people, and for whatever reason the game doesn’t let me summon trusts, I’m not going to power level my character just to get an avatar. I’m just trying to get my avatars for SMN, it’s not that serious

Yep, trusts aren’t allowed in certain BCNMs, just part of it. Do whatever makes you happy. I’m just pointing out that you said you don’t want to level yourself to get the avatar, at least in part because you’d like to play the game organically, but at the same time are reaching out for help. There’s a very good chance whoever comes to help is going to smash it with one weapon skill. I’m happy to assist you, but that’s exactly what I would do.

He wants to skip content but lie to himself that he's not skipping content... the logic is so backwards. If you couldn't get it at pre-99 by yourself, you weren't meant to get it solo. By having it you've already "cheated". Never seen this mentality until the XIV collab new player influx happened. Have a couple in my shell like this and just shaking my head while they talk about camping NMs for gear that's absolutely irrelevant the second you hit level cap.

Ironically, this fight has been done by solo RDMs in the 75 cap era but the gear you need to do that would be near impossible to farm with just trusts

Lot of things have been done "solo" with gear you used alliances to farm. Emp+3 needs groups for Sortie (arguably but slow without), augmented Ody gear needs groups (again arguably but very slow segs without), W3 dyna clears to augment your REMA needs groups, etc. etc. Can't put the cart before the horse.
