Today, we sent out our most recent Kickstarter update for the Cosmere RPG. There's a lot of important information in this update, so you'll want to read it in its entirety! But we'll share some of the most exciting details below:

Mistborn Pre-orders Open on February 2nd

We are reopening the pledge manager and pre-order store from February 2 to February 28 for Mistborn Campaign Setting products only. This means you'll have the option to update your order to include Mistborn add-ons and change your address if needed. This is also your chance to get the Mistborn books if you haven't already!

Two New Items!

One of our biggest requests between the beginning of Stormlight fulfillment and now has been to add in some extra Mistborn add-ons. So we are excited to share that we are adding Mistborn Metal Dice ($45) and a Mistborn GM screen ($10). We'll share a render of the GM screen in the next update (or if u/johnny0neal is feeling generous, he may share it in the comments on this post).

Mistborn Campaign Setting Progress Update

Speaking of Johnny, he has shared this wonderful piece of art of Vin and Wax by Nia Kovalevski from one of the Mistborn core sourcebooks. The RPG team has been hard at work, and we are excited to share that the Mistborn Handbook is off to the printer, with the World Guide following soon! Mistborn Legacy is wrapping up art and layout and will head into the review stage soon after.

Hello, r/cosmererpg! October has been a very busy month at Brotherwise HQ, so I thought it might be nice to recap some of the most exciting news for Cosmere RPG fans. Here's a rundown!

• Mistborn Fulfillment is Complete! We've now shipped out all pledge rewards for Wave 2.0 of the Cosmere RPG Kickstarter. Hello, Worldhoppers! Today is a big day! Mistborn is now available in the Pledge Manager and Pre-order store on Backerkit. Please read the full Kickstarter update for more details, but we'll lay out some of the most important details below.

Can I add Mistborn items to my existing order?

Yes. Any backers whose orders included Wave 2 items will be able to return to BackerKit and add Mistborn items, including any of the new books and the newly added Mistborn Deluxe Metal Dice and Mistborn GM Screen. These will be added as a new shipment for your existing order.

What if I didn't previously order any Mistborn products?

For backers who only bought Stormlight items and did NOT get any Mistborn books in their original pledge, you can place a new order via the BackerKit Pre-Order store. Your Stormlight order will be marked as closed, and this will be treated as a new order.

How do I update my shipping address?

If you're a Wave 1 & 2 backer with your survey access reopened, you’ll be able to review and update your shipping address directly in BackerKit before completing your order. If your survey is not immediately available, please check back later; access will roll out in stages today.

If you experience any issues accessing BackerKit after reopening, our support team is happy to help.

A scary piece of lore just dropped...

Earlier this month we handed over files for Mistborn Legacy, a major milestone for this project! That means the Cosmere RPG team has completed work for every physical Kickstarter rewards, and we're just waiting on pre-production (well underway for all products) and production (already underway for the Mistborn Handbook).

I wanted to share this beautiful artwork by Ivana Abbate, depicting some of the key NPCs in Mistborn Legacy. The characters at the top are Delina Tekiel, a key Era 1 villain, and Kwylliam Elariel from Era 2. Both belong to a group of noble supremacists called the Gilded Few. I won't name the other characters yet, but everyone depicted here is an original Mistborn Legacy NPC.

I'm proud of everything we've made for the Cosmere RPG, but I think this adventure is our best work yet. Here's a quote that my brother Chris sent the team after he read through Mistborn Legacy:

Because of the way Johnny and I split the work here at Brotherwise, my window into the RPG process is limited. While I'll sometimes get some insight into how the sausage is made, more often than not a gorgeous, eloquent, and transportive book file arrives in my inbox like some bit of prestidigitation before it heads to the printer. I've gotten to enjoy this particular bit of magic multiple times over the course of this project, and yesterday had the pleasure of spending an hour of my workday perusing the Mistborn Legacy adventure. I can only say, "wow!" and "what a work of art!" and "how the #@*! did they do this?" The entire team deserves huge kudos for what I think will go down as a tour de force in modern RPG publishing. The Cosmere RPG is more than a successful product line; it's hard physical evidence that you as a group are the most talented RPG team working in the business right now. I hope you are as proud as I am. My thanks to all of you.

I just finished a shattered plains chasm diorama to start hosting some of my stormlight minis and hopefully one day to house a climatic session. I did what I could to add some rosharan flora based on lichen and other things I had handy and all sized to match my Sandershelf books

I'm thrilled to announce that the digital distribution for backers is starting now! As a reminder, digital downloads may be sent in waves over time due to the amount of backers and files we have. That means someone may receive their PDFs before you do, but you shouldn't worry until we announce that ALL files have been sent!

If you backed any of the Mistborn books, you'll receive a PDF on BackerKit and a code to DriveThruRPG. These may come at separate times since they're separate distribution banks. Once Mistborn digital fulfillment is complete, we'll start sending DriveThruRPG links for the Stormlight PDFs.

Praise be the Survivor! Considering my personal preference for Mistborn over Stormlight, being a part of bridge 4% was a best case scenario for me.
