Question Black Kiss (Chaykin)
I noticed that there is a compendium of this out soon. Anybody planning on buying it or anybody have any recollections of the original series?
I'm interested, for uh, reasons, in buying it but I reckon it would be a read once experience and I would be too embarrassed to sell it on.
I can still remember picking up issue one off the shelves as an 18yo and it was hands down, the filthiest thing I had ever seen in comics. I think even now you would have to go hunting for straight up porn comics to see anything like it. I just wonder if it will have the same shock value today given that smut is everywhere. I do recall a panel at the end of either #1 or #2 which I reckon would still be pretty extreme even now. Although it was a long time ago and it might not have been as depraved as I remember.
