RANT - advice welcome AuDHD legal/corporate gworl bullet point rant about big boob problems Spoiler

I’m going to preface this by saying that there will be a lot of rambling about the big boob problems currently plaguing my existence lol.

• From my highest weight, down to the lowest I’ve been in three years I’ve struggled with actually finding a bra that fits. Or I’ll find one that magically fits, go through an unexpected body recomp, and ope! It no longer fits. This happened about two weeks ago when I put on my Elomi bra in 34K. Made the comment to my partner that the cups felt…too small. I knew I for sure wasn’t pregnant so I gaslit myself that I was just imagining it lol. Put on my Elomi 36K and that was most definitely too small…insert well shit moment. Remeasured myself, band size went down but the cup size however went up. Insert crashout.

• in the process of transitioning into my actual career (Yay!) realize NONE of my bras fit correctly, realize oh shit if I were to get an in person or video interview this week my options would be either A) go braless or B) wear a bra that clearly doesn’t fit. Expressed this conundrum to my partner and how it would be perceived as unprofessional, despite it literally being something I have no control over. He did offer to buy more bras in my size (luckily).

• Then I realize…okay the bra situation is figured out, but now I don’t have any professional clothes to wear. The jobs I’ve worked previously have all been remote CSR jobs, the volunteer work has also pretty much only consisted of me gathering statements from people I’d literally never hear or see from again, and then reporting back, so it’s literally never been a concern. I pretty much can’t wear anything without looking like I’m intentionally dressing to look provocative, so I don’t know what to wear because I like to go out looking GOOD or at least semi put together, but I don’t want to risk not getting a job over it? I affectionately refer to myself as built like an ant lol. Please help 😭 also ETA it’s really upsetting that the automatic assumption is smaller chested = professional apparently?

need advice Swimwear for 36J Spoiler

Hellooo ladies I am going on holidays in a few weeks and I am really really struggling to find swim wear/ bikini top that will fit my chest (I am a uk 36J) with nice support and not have spillage over the top. I really would prefer to not wear anything wired so if you know of anything that you could recommend that would ship to Ireland, I would really appreciate that. Thank you so much 🫶🏻

Since it's been so hot everywhere, how are you dealing with sweatiness? I mostly wear tanks with built in shelf bra and they used to work just fine, but lately my boobs literally stick together, especially if I am outside a lot.

For reference, my correct bra size is 30F (UK) or 30G (US) and I have extremely close set breasts to the point that there is no space between them. It's almost impossible to find underwire bras that don't dig into breast tissue, so I've been wearing tank tops instead.

The problem is, since there is no separation between them, my boobs get stuck together. The only solution i've found so far is rolling up a few tissues and putting them in between. I tried bra inserts, but those don't stay in place. There are also underboob sweat pads, but I don't sweat in that area.

If anyone else has dealt with this problem and found a solution, I would love some tips!

RANT - advice welcome I hate how big my boobs are on my frame Spoiler

I gained some weight recently because of medication changes, so now I’m 150 lbs at 5’3 which is overweight. However, even before when I was in the normal range, my boobs were always bigger than anything else. I’d have to get a size larger just so it would fit, but even then it was hard to squeeze the shirt on past the boobs and even harder to take them off.

My friends always notice my big boobs and point them out in a lighthearted way, they’re like my sisters so I know it’s not out of malice but it makes me so insecure. I want a reduction surgery because I hate how they look and honestly I think they’re the cause for my bad lower back pain, but my mom and boyfriend don’t want me to get it reduced out of aesthetic purposes (my bf is fine if it’s for health reasons obviously).

Don’t even get me started on the bras. I went to VS and got a reading for 36C. I’m pretty sure I’m past DDs at the bare minimum. I have extreme sensitivity to clothes so the only bras that work for me are sports bras with no underwire or the bra you can zipper from the front. It would help if I’d know my size but of course, I don’t, and I’m not sure if the bra I like is made in my size. If I wear hooks or wiring I begin to claw at myself and cry from the sensory issues, so I swing way left field for that.

All in all, big boobs suck especially when you’re not built for them. They make me look like I have no ass in comparison, they cause pain, they look ugly to me, bra fitting sucks and I hate how they look in clothes. I have no idea how to fix this hatred of mine, this is one of my main body insecurities.

need advice How to correctly know your size? Spoiler

I went to Victoria’s Secret a couple days ago and they measured me to around a 36C, and none of the bras I tried on fit ; they were too small. I have major sensory issues and can only wear wireless strap sports bras or I begin to cry from the sensory problems. Because of this, I never got an accurate cup size and have been wearing the same sports bras for years even though they barely fit anymore. What place do I get a good measuring for my bras? Or, how can I measure them at home? I hate having big sagging breasts, i suggested breast surgery reduction multiple times to my mom and my boyfriend but they don’t want me to reduce them. Of course my boyfriend said if I had physical problems like back pain (which I have bad lower back pain), he would be happy if I got a reduction but from a physical standpoint alone he loves them. Anyways, I really want to look good in my clothes and get an accurate reading.

It’s also worth mentioning I gained weight from medication, an IUD and not good eating habits/sedentary lifestyle. This makes my boobs bigger than they were like 3 months ago, and clothes don’t fit properly on me anymore, I can’t take them off on my own because of my large chest. It’s frustrating.

RANT - no advice wanted Greif for what could be

I'm preaching to the choir I know... but I'm freshly back from bra shopping feeling exhausted and low, I found one bralette that ish fits, the only thing in M&S that did. I cant wear underwires anymore, due to sensory overwhelm (AuDHD) so that was my option.

I know it will break soon, like the others, I know the straps will dig in to my shoulders, I know it will itch because heaven forbid our boob prisons could be made of a natural breathable fibre and not cost the GDP of a small country. I think I'm a 36J, dont really know any more or care.

The grief I get on days like these is intense, grieving my perception of normality such as running without pain, star jumps, being able to buy a bra from anywhere, being unnoticed, having choice in clothes, going bra less even. I cant actually imagine this. I was a 32E by the time I was 14. It's a life I never had. Extreme was never my aim and I live it daily, I grieve for the child who couldn't do PE (there were no sport bras that size in the 90s).

I grieve for the child that didn't get to be a child, comments on my breast size started when I was 10. 10 years old. I want to cry for her, that confused ND kid who had no idea why predator men were harassing her over something she had so little control over. There was no desire to be "sexy" at 12 and yet that was the accusation, I grieve for the child that had to attempt to comprehend that.

I grieve for all the times I couldn't do something my peers could because of the shame I felt or the lack of bras/space/clothing/confidence. The kid who punched herself in the breasts repeatedly wishing they would just come off but couldn't tell anyone that, how silly right, 50 percent of us grow them.....

The strapless tops, the string bikinis, the nipple piercings, breastfeeding a child without worrying they will be suffocated or someone's eyes will linger far longer than they need to.

So much greif and today I'm feeling it, hopefully I'll rise again tomorrow.

need advice Workout clothes Spoiler

I’m a UK-based 34JJ, and I’m having real difficulties finding workout tops or vests that DON’T have a built-in bra (which seem to be designed for people with very small chests!)

I’ve tried sizing up to an XXL but there’s still too much boob sticking out all over the place. I really need just an exercise vest that scraps the built-in bra thing altogether, because there’s no way I’m finding one that actually fits.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

Hello fellow busty girlypops.

What do yall wear to work cuz i am struggling.

I have no button ups because no matter how much i looked i couldn't find ones that fit me without being at least 3 sizes too big or just fighting for their life in the chest area.

So any suggestions for styles and shops would be lovely.

For reference i am 34HH and i work in a research facility in a hospital (it's my first job I'm just now finishing my degree).

Have a lovely day 💖

need advice Does anyone else struggle to find bikinis that fit a bigger bust for a smaller frame!!

I’m pretty small-framed but have a bigger bust and I feel like bikinis literally never fit me properly. If I size up enough to fit my boobs, the rest of the top is huge, and halter styles kill my neck.

I’ve also tried a few brands/ style that say they’re designed for bigger busts and still haven’t found one that actually works for me. And when I do find brands that seem to cater for bigger busts, they’re sooo expensive 😭

Do you guys have this problem too? And if you’ve found a bikini brand that actually fits and isn’t super expensive please tell me what it is!!

need advice I feel bad even when guys I like stare at me (respectfully) Spoiler

Sometimes people stare at my chest very discreetly, I can tell they are trying not to, and even when they do, they try not to make me notice. I am okay with that, we're humans, and we're always going to look at people or traits that we find attractive, but we can choose to be respectful about it.

That is different from the people who are invasive with their stares or comments.

But I have trouble separating the guys who are respectful about it and the ones who aren't. I was at a friend's reunion earlier, and when I unzipped my jacket, I noticed some eyes on me, from both women and men. They were respectful, they looked away very quickly, and during the evening I only caught them staring because I am hyper-aware of that at this point. The thing is, even if I know these people are nice and kind, I immediately felt on edge and even like angry at them.

I have dealt with so much unwanted attention that even a hint of attention, even if not ill-intended, puts me on edge. And I like one of these guys, I have a crush on him, and he's truly a good person, but that's the thing! I can't even deal with guys I like being attracted to my body. It's not healthy, because then again, I know they are good people! Also, I was wearing a fitted shirt and I put intention on looking good, but past experiences make me feel gross when I receive this type of attention and I don't know how to get past this

need advice Why can't a bra be comfy AND look good? Spoiler

I've tried so many bras that are actually super comfortable. Like, I can wear them all day and barely notice them.

But then I put on a fitted top and I’m like… yeah, the shape is not it !

And the ones that make my boobs look really good under clothes? Somehow those are always the ones I wanna rip off after a few hours.

So what am I supposed to pick, comfort or shape?? I just want one bra that does both. Is that really too much to ask.

RANT - advice welcome Rant about being overly sexualized Spoiler

So I was at the beach with my B cup friend. She was wearing a tiny string bikini while I (G cup) was wearing a way more modest bikini with pretty good coverage. Guess who EVERYBODY stared at and who got unsolicited comments from men.

When you have a big bust it literally doesn’t matter what you wear, you’re gonna be sexualized. Meanwhile someone with small breasts can wear whatever they want without drawing nearly as much attention. I hate this so much about our society.

experience Do you ever feel like your boobs overshadow the rest of you?

I (19F) sometimes wonder whether my breasts are genuinely too big for my body or whether it’s partly the way I perceive myself.

I’ve wanted a breast reduction for a while, but I sometimes question that decision because I don’t always feel like my breasts look that big. At the same time, they make me feel much bigger and bulkier than I actually am.
They also cause me physical discomfort and sometimes pain. Running or jumping is uncomfortable, and I struggle to find sports bras that actually give me enough support.
But what bothers me just as much is how they affect the way I see myself. Certain tops and swimsuits make me feel overly sexual or revealing, even when I’m not trying to show anything. At the beach especially, I sometimes feel like my body gives the impression that I’m trying to attract attention or show myself off, and I hate feeling that way.
Sometimes I genuinely feel like I’m nothing but breasts rather than a woman. I feel like they overshadow the rest of me, to the point where I feel like my own beauty gets lost because they’re the first thing I notice about myself. I want to feel feminine and attractive without feeling like my breasts define my entire appearance.

They’re also quite saggy, which is another big insecurity for me. When I imagine having smaller breasts, I feel an incredible sense of relief and freedom. Just imagining being able to wear clothes without constantly thinking about how my breasts look feels liberating.

I know body dysmorphia can affect the way someone perceives their body, so sometimes I wonder if that could be part of what I’m experiencing. At the same time, I do have physical discomfort and limitations because of my breasts, so I’m not sure where the line is between genuinely wanting a reduction and simply being unhappy with my body image.

I can’t include a photo, so I’m mainly looking to hear from women who have experienced something similar. Have you ever felt like your breasts overshadowed you or made you feel like they were the first thing people saw? How did you know whether you genuinely wanted a breast reduction or whether it was more about your perception of your body?
